A silver halide photographic material comprising a silver halide emulsion layer containing (1) a pyrazoloazole magenta coupler, (2) an anti-color-fading agent having an oxidation potential (Eox) of 0.95(V)&lt;Eox&lt;1.50(V) and (3) a hydroquinone derivative.

Light sensitive silver halide photographic material

A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material prevented from rottenness or decomposition by bacteria or mold without degradation of photographic properties such as sensitivity and fog. The silver halide photographic light-sensitive material has a photographic constituent layer containing at least one silver halide emulsion layer, and the silver halide grains contained in the emulsion layer comprises not less than 90 mole % of silver chloride. The photographic constituent layer contains at least one organic compound capable of forming a compound having a solubility product Ksp of not more than 1.times.10.sup.-11 with a silver ion, and at least one compound selected from the group of the compounds having the following Formula I, II, III or IV: ##STR1##

Light-sensitive silver halide photographic material

A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material comprising a support provided thereon with photographic layers including at least one silver halide emulsion layer and at least one non-light-sensitive layer is disclosed. The silver halide emulsion layer comprises silver halide grains comprising not less than 80 mol % of silver chloride. At least one of the photographic layers contains an ultraviolet absorbing agent which is in the liquid state at ordinary temperature. And at least one of the photographic layers is hardened with a vinylsulfon hardner. The photographic material has a high developing rate and a high antipressure property, so it is suitable for a rapid processing.

Silver halide photographic light sensitive material

Disclosed is a light-sensitive silver halide photographic material, comprising a plural number of photographic constituent layers on a support, wherein at least one of the layers is a silver halide emulsion layer containing a magenta coupler represented by Formula (I) shown below, and at least one of the photographic constituent layers excluding at least the above silver halide emulsion layer contains at least one of the compounds represented by Formula (a) and Formula (b) shown below:

A dispersion of oil globules which contains an ultra-violet absorber and a high-boiling solvent is disclosed. The UV absorber is a mixture of 15 to 45 wt % of a compound of formula (I) and 85 to 55 wt % of a compound of formula (II): ##STR1## (wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 each represents an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms; X is a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a methyl group, an ethyl group, a methoxy group, an ethoxy group or an aryl group); ##STR2## (wherein R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 each represents an alkyl group, provided that the total number of carbon atoms in the alkyl groups represented by R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 is 9 or more; Y is a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a methyl group, an ethyl group, a methoxy group, an ethoxy group or an aryl group).

Dispersion

A silver halide photographic material is disclosed which has formed on a support in sequence a silver halide emulsion layer incorporating a yellow coupler of the formula (I), a silver halide emulsion layer incorporating a magenta coupler of the formula (II), and a silver halide emulsion layer incorporating a cyan coupler of the formula (III): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or an alkoxy group; R.sub.2 is --NHCOR.sub.3, --NHSO.sub.2 R.sub.3, --COOR.sub.3 or ##STR2## provided that R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are each an alkyl group; and Z.sub.1 is a non-metallic atomic group necessary to form a 5- or 6-membered hetero ring together with a nitrogen atom); ##STR3## [wherein R.sub.5 is a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or an alkoxy group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms; R.sub.6 is (provided that R.sub.7 and R.sub.8 are each a hydrogen atom or an acyl group, and when R.sub.7 and R.sub.8 are each an acyl group, they may be combined to form a 5-membered hetero ring together with a nitrogen atom), an alkyl- or arylsulfonamido group, an alkyl- or arylsulfamoyl group or an alkyl- or arylcarboxylic acid ester group; Y.sub.1, Y.sub.2, and Y.sub.3 are each a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, a carboxy group, an alkoxycarbonyl group, a nitro group, an aryloxy group, a cyano group or an acylamino group; and Z.sub.2 is an atom or a group that leaves when it enters into a coupling reaction with the oxidation product of a color developing agent]; ##STR4## (wherein R.sub.9 is a straight- or branched-chain alkyl group having 2 to 4 carbon atoms; and R.sub.10 is a ballast group).

Silver halide photographic material

A silver halide photographic material having one or more silver halide emulsion layers formed on a support is disclosed wherein at least one of said silver halide emulsion layers contains at least one cyan coupler of formula (I) dispersed therein with the aid of a high-boiling organic solvent having a dielectric constant of not more than 6.0: ##STR1## (wherein R.sub.1 is a straight- or branched-chain alkyl group having 2 or 4 carbon atoms; X is a hydrogen atom or a group capable of leaving upon coupling reaction; and R.sub.2 is a ballast group).

A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material is disclosed, which is excellent in light discoloration resistance and is more particularly capable of keeping its color balance and reproducing long life color images. The photographic material comprises a support, at least three light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers containing a yellow, magenta, and cyan coupler, respectively, and at least one non-light-sensitive layer being provided at a further side of the emulsion layer being provided at the furthest position from the support. The non-light-sensitive layer contains at least three kinds of UV absorbers represented by the general formula [UV-I], provided that at least one of the UV absorbers is in a liquid state at 30.degree. C. and at least two UV absorbers are in a solid state at the same temperature. ##STR1## And the emulsion layer containing the yellow coupler contains a compound represented by the general formula [A]: ##STR2##

Silver halide photographic light-sensitive material

A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material comprising a support bearing thereon a silver halide emulsion layer containing a diffusionproof coupler and being hardened with a hardening agent represented by Formula [II] and/or Formula [III] indicated below is enabled to acquire improved film properties and enjoy increased freedom from repression of latent image by using, as the diffusionproof coupler, a compound represented by Formula [I] indicated below: Formula [I] ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 denotes a straight or branched alkyl group having 2 to 4 carbon atoms; R.sub.2 a ballast group; and X a hydrogen atom or a group capable of splitting off through reaction with the oxidation product of an aromatic primary amine type color developing agent. ##STR2## wherein R.sub.3 denotes a chlorine atom, a hydroxy group, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, an amino group, an acylamino group, or a --OM group in which M denotes a monovalent metal atom; R.sub.4 has the same meaning as R.sub.3 except for the omission of the chlorine atom; R.sub.5 and R.sub.6 independently denote a chlorine atom, a hydroxy group, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, or a --OM group in which M denotes a monovalent metal atom; Q and Q' independently denote a linking group --O--, --S--, or --NH--; L denotes an alkylene group or an arylene group; and p and q independently denote 0 or 1.

A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material having a support with at least one silver halide emulsion layer is provided. The silver halide emulsion layer containing in combination at least one yellow dye image-forming coupler of Formula I and at least one high-boiling organic solvent of Formula II to reduce the light discoloration of a yellow dye image.

Silver halide photographic light-sensitive material comprising a support and at least one silver halide emulsion layer thereon, said layer comprising at least one cyan coupler of Formula I, said coupler having been dispersed in said emulsion layer by use of at least one solvent of Formula II, ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is an alkyl radical or an aryl radical; R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4, R.sub.5 and R.sub.6 each is a radical selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, halogens, hydroxyl radical, nitro radical, cyano radical, alkyl radicals, alkoxy radicals, aryl radicals, aryloxy radicals, alkylsulfamoyl radicals, arylsulfamoyl radicals, alkyloxycarbonyl radicals, aryloxycarbonyl radicals, alkylsulfonamido radicals, arylsulfonamido radicals, alkylsulfonyl radicals and arylsulfonyl radicals, provided that when R.sub.2 is a radical selected from said alkylsulfonamido radicals, R.sub.6 also is selected from said alkylsulfonamido radicals; and Z.sub.1 is a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, or a radical that can be split off by the reaction of said coupler with the oxidized product of an aromatic primary amine-type color developing agent, ##STR2## wherein R.sub.7 and R.sub.8 each is an alkyl radical, an alkenyl radical or an aryl radical, provided that the sum of the carbon atoms of the radicals represented by R.sub.7 and R.sub.8 is from 16 to 36.

A silver halide photographic material having one or more silver halide emulsion layers formed on a reflective support is disclosed, wherein at least one of the silver halide emulsion layers contains at least one cyan coupler of formula (I) dispersed therein with the aid of at least one high-boiling organic solvent having a dielectric constant of 6.1 or more, and wherein at least one photographic layer contains at least one dye of formula (II) and/or formula (III): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is a straight- or branched-chain alkyl group having 2 to 4 carbon atoms; R.sub.2 is a ballast group; and X is a hydrogen atom or a group capable of leaving upon coupling reaction with the oxidized product of a color developing agent; ##STR2## wherein R.sub.3 and R.sub.5 are each a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group or an aryl group; R.sub.4 and R.sub.6 are each an aryl group or a hetero ring having at least one sulfonic acid group or carboxyl group either directly or via an alkylene group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms; and n is an integer of 0, 1 or 2; ##STR3## wherein R.sub.7, R.sub.10, R.sub.11 and R.sub.14 are each a hydrogen atom, a hydroxyl group, --OR (wherein R is alkyl or aryl), ##STR4## (wherein R' and R' are each a hydrogen atom or an alkyl or aryl group having at least one sulfonic acid group or carboxyl group); R.sub.8, R.sub.9, R.sub.12 and R.sub.13 are each a hydrogen atom, a sulfonic acid group, a carboxyl group, or an alkyl or aryl group having at least one sulfonic acid group or carboxyl group.

A silver halide color photographic product with dye images having improved fastness to light is disclosed. The product has at least one dye image forming layer on a support and further includes at least one of the compounds of formula (I) or (II) in said dye image forming layer and/or an adjoining or an adjacent layer: ##STR1## wherein R is an alkyl group, an aryl group or a heterocyclic group; X is an alkylene group; and Y is an alkylene or arylene group; and ##STR2## wherein R.sub.1 is a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group or an aryl group; R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are each an alkyl group; Y.sub.1 is an alkylene or arylene group; Z is an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom, a sulfonyl group, a carbonyl group or an alkylene group; and n is an integer of 1 to 20.

Silver halide color photographic products

A silver halide color photographic material having improved whiteness and a method of processing said material are disclosed. The material is formed on a hydrophobic support at least one silver halide emulsion layer, a layer containing a brightening agent and a layer containing a compound that is capable of trapping the brightening agent, said layer containing a compound capable of trapping the brightening agent being separate from the layer containing the brightening agent and positioned more remote from the support than the latter layer, and also, the method for providing enhanced brightening effect comprises subjecting said material to imagewise exposure and color development so that said brightening agent is diffused into and trapped by the layer containing capable of trapping the brightening agent.
