A helical blade type compressor is comprising a stationary cylindrical body, a closed-ended cylinder eccentrically arranged surrounding the cylindrical body, a helical compression section including a helical blade serving to divide the free space between the closed-ended cylinder and the cylindrical body into a plurality of compression chambers arranged in the axial direction of the cylindrical body, and a rotary shaft serving to eccentrically rotate the cylinder surrounding the cylindrical body, wherein a helical blade groove is formed on the circumferential surface of the cylindrical body and the helical blade is engaged with the helical groove such that an object fluid is moved in the axial direction of the cylindrical body so as to be compressed in accordance with the eccentric rotation of the cylinder.

A helical-blade fluid machine maintains a low-pressure atmosphere in a closed casing ( ) and secures a proper lubrication state for a compression mechanism ( ). The fluid machine has a drive mechanism ( ) that is installed at an upper or lower part of the casing and consists of a stator ( ) and a rotor ( ). The compression mechanism is installed at the other part of the casing. The compression mechanism has a cylinder ( ) and a roller ( ), which is swayed with respect to the cylinder by the drive mechanism. Helical-blade fluid machine

A helical-blade fluid machine maintains a low-pressure atmosphere in a closed casing (1) and secures a proper lubrication state for a compression mechanism (9). The fluid machine has a drive mechanism (7) that is installed at an upper or lower part of the casing and consists of a stator (11) and a rotor (15). The compression mechanism is installed at the other part of the casing. The compression mechanism has a cylinder (23) and a roller (25), which is swayed with respect to the cylinder by the drive mechanism. A helical blade (39) having unequal pitches is arranged on the roller, to define compression chambers (41). This arrangement lowers the head of lubricant. An intake pipe (5) feeds gas into the casing so that a low-pressure atmosphere fills the casing.

In a helical compressor, a helical compression unit is accommodated in the case. The compression unit has a cylinder, a roller eccentrically disposed in the cylinder and a helical blade disposed between an inner surface of the cylinder and the roller for separately forming a plurality of compression chambers therebetween along an axial direction of the roller. A motor unit is accommodated in the case and is operatively connected to the helical compression unit through a rotating shaft for eccentrically rotating the roller in the cylinder through the rotating shaft. According to the rotation of the roller, compressive fluid sucked into a lower compression chamber is moved along an axial direction of the rotating shaft while being sequentially compressed. The helical compression unit and the motor unit is arranged so that the helical compression unit and the motor unit are partially overlapped to each other along the axial direction.

A switching valve comprises a valve body to which a plurality of fluid passages are connected, a slider having a gas passage capable of selectively connecting two fluid passages, a balance port for letting the gas passage communicate with the outside of the slider, a pilot valve for opening and closing the balance port, a moving mechanism for moving the pilot valve and the slider as one body in a predetermined direction alone, and a forwardly and reversely rotatable motor unit for driving the slider to open the balance port, thereby canceling a pressure difference between the inside and outside of the slider and then moving the slider to switch the fluid passages.

A fluid machine has-two working mechanisms. Each of the working mechanisms has a fixed spiral, a movable spiral, and a working chamber. The fixed spiral has an inner contact face that spirals from the periphery toward the center of the fixed spiral and has a stepped shape in section. The movable spiral has an outer contact face that spirals upwardly from the periphery toward the center of the movable spiral and has a stepped shape in section. The movable spiral orbits inside the fixed spiral when an eccentric shaft rotates. The working chamber is defined between the inner and outer contact faces. The height and width of the working chamber become smaller as the working chamber shifts from the periphery toward the center of the working mechanism according to the oscillation of the movable spiral.

A rolling-piston expander has a hermetic casing 7 provided with a suction pipe 3 and a discharge pipe 5, a cylinder 13 disposed in the casing, a roller 31 eccentrically rotated in the cylinder, an expansion chamber 39 defined by the roller and communicating with a suction port 47 and a discharge port 55, a shaft 19 for supporting the roller so that the roller may eccentrically rotate, a suction timing controller 51 consisting of the ports 47 and 51, for controlling the timing of the supply of gas into the expansion chamber, and a bypass for supplying high-pressure gas into the expansion chamber when the suction timing is off.

Rolling-piston expander apparatus

A rolling piston type expansion machine eliminates the need for an open-close valve mechanism and smoothens the timing of inflow of high-pressure gas. The machine includes a cylinder having a discharge port and a roller freely gyratable or orbital in the cylinder. A freely movable blade supported in the cylinder has its tip in contact with the circumferential surface of the roller to form an expansion chamber. A gas passage is freely rotatably supported by a main bearing member and a secondary bearing member. The gas passage is formed in a main shaft having a crank shaft portion that gyrates or orbits the roller. An inlet port is provided along a shaft center of the main shaft. An inflow timing control portion controls inflow timing of the suction gas toward the expansion chamber via the inlet port of the gas passage.

Rolling piston type expansion machine

A refrigeration cycle has a compressor, an outdoor rotary-type heat exchanger, a motor-operated expansion valve, and an indoor rotary-type heat exchanger which are sequentially connected to each other to circulate a refrigerant. A tank is set in a connected state or a non-connected state with respect to a refrigerant discharge side of the compressor. A detector detects at least a pressure at one side of each of the exchangers. A first controller sets the tank in a non-connected state when a normal operation of an air conditioner is to be started, and controls the capacity of the compressor, the rotational speed of the exchangers, and the opening degree of the valve in accordance with an air-conditioning load, thereby performing the normal operation of the air conditioner. A second controller causes the compressor to keep operating at a predetermined capacity until a detection pressure from the detector coincides with a preset value, when the air conditioner is to be stopped, and sets the tank in a connected state while controlling the valve to a predetermined opening degree, thereby recovering a refrigerant in the tank. A third controller rotates the exchangers at a predetermined speed when the air conditioner is to be started, and sets the tank in a connected state while controlling the valve to a predetermined opening degree, thereby filling the refrigerant in the exchangers from the tank.

There is disclosed a current control apparatus comprising first controllers adapted for detecting an overall or total load current to calculate distribution values for distributing a current margin with respect to an overall or total current limit value to respective air-conditioners; and second controllers adapted for respectively controlling air-conditioners so as not to exceed individual current limit values, and for carrying out an incremental correction of individual current limit values in accordance with distribution values calculated by the first controllers.

A horizontal type compressor-motor combination for compressing a gaseous refrigerant is hermetically sealed within a case which contains in its bottom accumulated lubricating oil and is internally divided into compressor and motor chambers respectively housing a compressor device and a motor for driving the compressor device through a common rotor shaft coupling the rotor of the motor and an eccentric rotor of the compressor device and being rotatably supported by inner and outer bearings, the compressor device having a cylinder block interposed between the inner and outer bearings. A compressor-motor of this basic organization is improved by a communication passage formed axial through the rotor shaft for conducting the refrigerant, one end of this passage being connected to the motor chamber, the other end being connected to a delivery chamber of the compressor chamber. By this structural organization, the gaseous refrigerant compressed to a high pressure in the compressor device is conducted through the passage formed through the rotor shaft or a passage through the outer bearing, cylinder block, and inner bearing into the rotor chamber thereby to raise the oil level in the compressor chamber, whereby lubricating oil is supplied positively and stably to the bearings and other moving parts.

An enclosed type compressor comprises an electric motor and a compressor pump directly coupled with the electric motor, both enclosed in a casing. A centeradjusting plate having a through hole at the center is provided between the electric motor and the compressor pump. The center-adjusting plate is disposed perpendicular to the central axis of the internal surface of the stator of the electric motor. The rotor of the electric motor is coupled with the compressor pump and the combination thus obtained is secured to the center-adjusting plate in a manner such that the central axes of the rotor and the internal surface of the stator are aligned with each other. A method for assembling the enclosed type compressor is also disclosed.

Enclosed type compressor and method for assembling the same

A compressor for a reversible refrigeration cycle is connected to indoor and outdoor heat exchangers through first and second refrigerant pipes. The compressor includes a closed casing defining an accumulation chamber therein. A compression section having a compression chamber is disposed in the casing so that a refrigerant is compressed in the compression chamber and then discharged into the accumulation chamber. A valve mechanism is disposed in the compression section and has a slider. The slider is arranged to be movable between a first position where the first and second refrigerant pipes are connected to the compression chamber and the accumulation chamber, respectively, and a second position where the first and second refrigerant pipes are connected to the accumulation chamber and the compression chamber, respectively. The slider is shifted to the first or second position by the pressure of the refrigerant.
