A waterproof structure for an electronic device () includes: a case () which is disposed in a location in a vehicle () distant from a receiving antenna (), which houses a processing unit () that processes location information, and which has a wiring hole () through which a wire () passes; a cylindrical part () which extends in the axial direction of the wire from the case in such a manner as to surround the wiring hole; a seal member () which is housed in a compressed state in the cylindrical part, and surrounds the wire; and a cap () which is attached to the case in an attachable/detachable manner, has a hole () through which the wire passes, and prevents the seal member from moving.

A pressing terminal includes an outer conductive member having a shield outer tube; an inner conductive member; and a dielectric member. The dielectric member includes a protruding portion fitted into the shield outer tube so that a signal line pressing portion of the inner conductive member is situated at a pressing tool insertion opening portion. The dielectric member is inserted into a shield outer tube with the protruding portion thereof sliding against the shield outer tube. A terminal pressing device includes an anvil unit and a crimper unit. A method for finding rules and exceptions from a database uses four stages programmed into a computer, wherein the four stages include an adaptive stage for creating in accordance with a user's previously inputted specifications, a parameter file of rules and exceptions finding conditions in accordance with the user's specifications, with the file being displayed to the user; a data model stage for analyzing the parameters from the parameter file, and retrieving data from one or more databases in accordance with the parameters; a problem formulator stage for transforming the retrieved data into a formalized data structure compatible with the parameters, and creating a catalog of possible attributes; and a solving stage for generating rules and exceptions from the formalized data by using the parameters and the catalog, and sending the result to the adaptive stage.

Finding rules and exceptions from databases

The first connector includes a first metallic housing and a first terminal unit comprising an insulating block, a first terminal supported by the insulating block, and a first shield jacket provided over the insulating block and the first terminal. The first terminal unit provided within the first metallic housing such that the first shield jacket is electrically connected to the first housing while the first terminal is connected to a printed circuit board. The second connector incudes a second housing of a synthetic resin and a second terminal unit comprising a second insulation block, a second terminal supported by the second insulation block, and a second shield jacket provided over the second insulation block and the second terminal; and the second terminal unit provided in the second housing.
