A disc ejection device is provided separate from a disk loading device in a disc device for disc playback or recording. When a disc loaded on a turntable in a disc driving section is ejected, it is lifted up by a moving table, is fed out by a first ejection member, and is then ejected from an ejection slot by a second ejection member disposed near the ejection slot. Immediately after the first ejection member feeds out the disc, it returns to an initial retracted state so as to allow a new disc to be loaded into the disc driving section. Accordingly, the loaded disc and a new disc can be switched inside the disc device.

In the conventionl magnetic recording/regenerating apparatus,loading/unloading of a cartridge has been manually carried out, thus requiring a large force (about 1.5 to 3 kgf) for these operations by a spring force of a leaf spring, and making it difficult to ensure loading of the cartridge in the magnetic recording/regenerating apparatus. In the magnetic recording/regenerating apparatus of the invention, the portion between one end side and the other side of the linking member is rotatably supported on the bottom plate of the enclosure, and the supporting point as a fulcrum, the distance between the fulcrum and an end connecting the second sliding member is made smaller than the distance between the fulcrum and the other end connecting the first sliding member.

Magnetic recording/regenerating apparatus

In the magnetic recording/regenerating apparatus of the present invention, the linking member R expands, contracts and rotates under the effect of the elastic member,by causing sliding with a slight force by pressing the pressing section of the first member of the second sliding member S. The rotation permits discharge of the loaded cartridge and easy ejection of the cartridge with a slight force.

Disclosed is a magnetic recording-reproducing device in which an engagement portion of a cartridge is locked by a locking portion of a first slide member; therefore as first and second slide members and slide, the cartridge also slides to be loaded and unloaded. The loading and unloading of the cartridge, therefore, can easily be accomplished with extremely little force.

A first and second rotary members are supported on a holder 3 secured to a main chassis of disk drive apparatus. The first rotary member includes a detecting portion. The second rotary member includes a contact portion that moves in and out of the insertion path of a disk cartridge to be inserted into the holder. When the disk cartridge is being inserted, an opening-and-closing pin opens the shutter of the disk. Through the detecting portion, the opening shutter rotates the first rotary member, which then rotates the second rotary member to thereby move the contact portion of the second rotary member out of the insertion path of the disk cartridge, allowing the disk cartridge to be inserted. If the shutter fails to open when the disk cartridge is being inserted, the contact portion of the second rotary member will remain in the insertion path and block the insertion of the disk cartridge.

A motor and a recording and/or reproducing apparatus using the motor. The motor includes a rotational member, a fixed member, a stopper member and a set of balls. The rotational member is formed by bending a first plate, and includes a first V-shaped bearing guide groove and central rotational shaft having a hole formed therein. The fixed member is formed with a second V-shaped bearing guide groove and bent portions which are used to attach the fixed member to a chassis. The balls are mounted in the first and second V-shaped bearing guide grooves and allow the rotational member to rotate relative to the fixed member. The stopper member is inserted through a central opening in the fixed member and is received in the hole formed in the rotational shaft, thereby connecting the rotational member to the fixed member so that the motor can be transported as a unit without separating.

A disk cartridge and a disk cartridge drive mechanism are disclosed. The disk cartridge includes a flexible recording disk with a hub at the central portion thereof, and a cartridge case containing the recording disk, with the hub having formed therein a chucking hole and a positioning hole. In order to rotate the recording disk by loading it into the disk cartridge drive mechanism, the chucking hole is defined by two straight-line portions that intersect to form a corner against which a spindle shaft of the disk cartridge mechanism is capable of being pushed, and the positioning hole is defined by a contact portion with which a drive pin of the disk cartridge drive mechanism is capable of coming into contact only in the direction of rotation of the recording disk.

A push-lock device has a damper mechanism 9 which includes a strip body 17; protruding portions 14, 16; a protruding portion 26; and a rubber ring 23. The strip body 17 is arranged in the moving direction of the sliding body 4 housed in the case 2 and has a meandering groove 22 formed therein. The protruding portions 14, 16 support rotatably the ends of the strip body 17. The protruding portion 26 is arranged to the sliding body 4 and engages to the meandering groove 22. The rubber ring 23 is arranged between the base 2b of the case 2 and one end of the strip body 17. The damper mechanism 9 can brake the movement of the sliding body 4 to prevent the sliding body from returning quickly from the locking position. The shock noise of the sliding body is reduced and the knob can be prevented from slipping out from the operating shaft.

The magnetic head supporting device comprises a holding plate for holding the magnetic head, and a base plate attached to the holding plate and fastened to the carriage of a magnetic disk driving apparatus so that the magnetic head is supported opposite to the magnetic disk loaded on the turn table of the magnetic disk driving apparatus.
