An elongated rod is journalled in a housing to reciprocate substantially vertical therefrom and has a cutting blade fixed on the tip of the lower end of the rod. A rotary motor is located at the upper end of the housing and is provided with an eccentric cam for converting the rotary motion into linear reciprocating motion.

Vibrating cutting machine

A reciprocating cutter type trimmer having reciprocative blades, each blade is divided into a power transmission member and an edge member, and the edge member has, at its longitudinally opposite ends, fitting parts so as to be removably mountable to a fitting part provided for the power transmission member.

Reciprocating cutter type trimmer

In a reciprocating cutter type trimmer in which blades (14, 15) are reciprocative, the blades (14, 15) are each constructed of a power transmission member (19,18) and an edge member (17, 16) and constitute a separation type blade in which the blades are individually removable, upper and lower blade guide plates (20, 21) are provided for supporting the blades (14, 15) from above and below, and at least one of the upper and lower blade guide plates (20, 21) is rotatably pivoted on the case (4). Exchange of the blade can be carried out easily and rapidly, loss of parts during blade exchanging work can be prevented and the construction can be simplified.

A reciprocating saw blade unit has a pair of upper and lower separable-type saw blades. Each separable-type saw blade has the shape of a long and narrow plate and is composed of: a blade member having an engaging portion; and a power transmitting member which has an engaging portion and is connected to a driving member for slidingly reciprocating the power transmitting member along its longer dimension. The blade members and the power transmitting members are detachably coupled by using the engaging portions. The upper and lower engaging portions are arranged not to be overlapped each other at any event.

Reciprocating saw blade unit

A reciprocating saw-blade device includes: a case; a main spindle rotatably supported by the case; bearings respectively arranged in front and rear end sections of the case; upper and lower saw blades protruding forward beyond the case and supported by the bearings in such a manner as to be slidable in the longitudinal direction thereof; eccentric cams formed on the main spindle such as to be axially spaced away from and 180.degree. out-of-phase with respect to each other; connecting rods respectively having big end portions pivotably connected with the eccentric cams and small end portions extending along the saw blades toward the rear end section of the case, where they are pivotably connected with the saw blades; and laterally-curved portions formed on the blades and extending in the longitudinal direction on one side of a middle section of the main spindle.

Reciprocating saw-blade device

A clipper-type bush cutter comprises a mount part provided on the side of a power source, an upper part of a head unit connected rotatably within a predetermined angle range back and forth with respect to the mount part, and a lower part of the head unit connected rotatably through 360 degrees in the right and left directions at the bottom of the upper part and for reciprocatably supporting clipper-type cutting blades. A first relative angle adjusting device is disposed between the upper part and the mount part and a second relative angle adjusting device is disposed between the lower part and the upper part.

Clipper-type bush cutter

A contra reciprocating blade type trimmer having blades formed on the side and tip of a reciprocally driven cutting bar. The tip blade of each bar reciprocates with respect to each other to cooperate in cutting roots, limbs and the like. the tip blade is provided at the foremost tip of each bar.

Reciprocating blade type trimmer

A spring clutch where an input shaft and output shaft are connected and disconnected with each other through a coil spring. The coil spring is secured at one end to the output shaft and is freely disposed over the input shaft at its other end. A centrifugally responsive pawl is mounted to engage the coil spring at the end disposed about the input shaft when said input shaft is rotated at or above a predetermined speed to cause said coil to be wound and tightened about the coil spring, thereby connecting the input and output shaft.

Spring clutch

A starting system having: a recoil type starter disposed so as to be concentric with a crankshaft of an internal combustion engine and to face one end of the same, the recoil starter having a recoil drum having a hollow boss portion and an engaging portion formed at its one side facing the one end of the crankshaft; a motor starter; a rotary shaft inserted into the hollow boss portion of the rotary drum concentrically therewith and capable of being rotated by the motor starter; a shock absorbing spring disposed around the rotary shaft; and ratchet members disposed at the one end of the crankshaft, the ratchet members being capable of respectively engaging with the spring and the engaging portion.

Starting system

An anti-overload centrifugal clutch including a centrifugal clutch having a clutch drum secured to a driving shaft thereof and a group of centrifugal clutch shoes engaged with a driven shaft for contact with and movement away from the clutch drum. A group of centrifugal members are engaged with the driving shaft which are respectively forced to embrace the driven shaft by the action of an associated spring. The centrifugal members release this embrace when the rotation of the driving shaft reaches a predetermined rotational speed.
