In a terminal-equipped electric wire in which a first barrel of a crimp terminal is crimped to a core wire exposed portion of an electric wire, a second barrel of the crimp terminal is crimped to a covering portion of the electric wire, and an anticorrosive portion is formed at least in an opening portion between the first barrel and the second barrel, an adhesive member is arranged on an outer peripheral surface of the covering portion, a base member and adhesive layers of the adhesive member are held in an elastically deformed state by being crimped by the second barrel, the inner adhesive layer of the adhesive member adheres to the entire circumference of the outer peripheral surface of the covering portion, and the outer adhesive layer of the adhesive member adheres to the entire circumference of an inner peripheral surface of the second barrel.

The housing () has terminal receiving chambers () and a bus bar receiving chamber (). The terminals () are received in the terminal receiving chambers (). The bus bar () is received in the bus bar receiving chamber (). The bus bar has contact pieces (), a coupling portion (), and support portions (). The support portions () extend from both end portions of the coupling portion. A position where the contact pieces make contact with contact point portions and a position where protrusions () provided in the support portions are locked to the bus bar receiving chamber are aligned with each other in a longitudinal direction of the housing.

In a connecting structure of a terminal configured to connect a female terminal inserted into a terminal accommodating chamber to the male terminal, the female terminal comprises a tubular part made of a metal plate and formed into which the male terminal is inserted, a plate shaped engaging piece continued from a side wall of the tubular part and folded back so that the engaging piece is located in a path into which the male terminal is inserted, a notch formed on an outer side surface of a folded back part of the engaging piece. The male terminal is provided with a cut-out part which can accommodate the engaging piece, and the engaging piece is accommodated in the cut-out part when the female terminal is inserted to a set position to lock a movement of the female terminal in a pulling out direction.

A lever-operative connector which can be downsized includes a frame and a lever rotatably coupled to the frame. The frame has a circumferential wall having one opening and the other opening at both ends. The frame has a notch formed in the circumferential wall and communicating with the one opening. When the lever is rotated toward the one opening side, a part of a lever side wall is exposed from an interior of the circumferential wall so as to compensate the notch of the circumferential wall, thereby forming, together with the frame, a hood having the housing-receiving width. When the lever is rotated toward the other opening side, the part of the lever side wall is received inside the circumferential wall so as to open the notch of the circumferential wall, thereby eliminating the housing-receiving width and the hood.

A connector includes: a female terminal housing provided with a terminal receiving cavity receiving a female terminal; and a male terminal housing retaining a male terminal to be connected to the female terminal. The male and female terminal housings have first and second engagement portions. The male and female terminal housings are fitted in a first fitting position by the first engagement portion. The male and female terminal housings are fitted in a second fitting position by the second engagement portion. The first fitting position is a position in which the locking hole of the female terminal is engaged with the lance of the terminal receiving cavity, and in which the male terminal is not in sliding contact with the female terminal. The second fitting position is a position in which the male terminal is in sliding contact with the female terminal.

According to the invention, the lance for primarily retaining the terminal is formed integrally on the retainer for secondarily retaining the terminal. Therefore, there is no need to form the lance on the connector housing, and therefore the structure of the connector housing can be simplified, and the moldability of the resin-made connector housing can be enhanced.

Lever-type connector

A connector includes a rear cover which is fixed to a rear portion of an outer housing in non-contacting relation to an inner housing. A strain relief structure, including a wire bending portion for bending and holding wires, is provided at the rear cover. The connector further includes springs. The inner housing is mounted in the outer housing such that the inner housingis urged forward by the springs.

In a pivotal lever-type connector, at the same time when a male connector housing is fitted into a predetermined position relative to a female connector housing, so that the female connector housing and the male connector housing are brought into a provisionally-fitted condition, distal end portions of elastic retaining arms, after abutting respectively against male connector housing-side inclining surfaces, are guided respectively onto female connector housing-side inclining surfaces, and slide on the respective female connector housing-side inclining surfaces in respective directions to decrease the distance therebetween, so that a pivotal lever is pivotally moved, thereby canceling the provisionally-fitted condition.

In a pivotal lever-type connector, a pivotal lever includes a metallic pivotal lever body which is disposed generally in straddling relation to a hood portion of a female connector housing, and can be engaged with engagement projections of a male connector housing, and a synthetic resin-made pivotal movement operating portion mounted on the pivotal lever body to cover a pivotally-moving end portion of the pivotal lever body. The pivotal movement operating portion has synthetic resin-made elastic retaining arms molded integrally with a body of this operating portion.

A connector includes a connector housing that has a first terminal and an inner housing that has a second terminal, and is configured to be fitted into the connector housing so that the second terminal is connected to the first terminal. A first slanting face is formed on an outer peripheral face of the inner housing. The connector housing have a chamber for receiving the inner housing therein when the inner housing is fitted into the connector housing. A first prevention face is formed on an inner peripheral face of the chamber. The first slanting face is surface-contacted with the first prevention face when the inner housing is completely fitted into the connector housing.
