A composite (combined type of) transformer includes: a transformer core including a plurality of transformer magnetic leg portions, a transformer magnetic leg portion, and a pair of transformer bases; a plurality of inductor cores each including an inductor magnetic leg portions, inductor outer magnetic leg portions, and a pair of inductor bases; and a plurality of windings wound around the transformer magnetic leg portion and the inductor magnetic leg portions. The windings are wound to generate magnetic fluxes in such directions as to be cancelled out in a magnetic closed circuit in the transformer core.

Composite transformer

A composite transformer includes: a transformer core including transformer-core legs; inductor cores including inductor-core legs; windings wound around the transformer-core legs and the inductor-core legs; the transformer core includes a pair of transformer bases connected to both ends of each of the transformer-core legs, and allows formation of closed magnetic circuits in the transformer core; each of the inductor cores includes one of the inductor-core legs, an outer core leg, and a pair of inductor bases connected to both ends of the one of the inductor-core legs and both ends of the outer core leg, and allows formation of a closed magnetic circuit in each inductor core; and the windings are wound in such directions that the magnetic fluxes produced in the transformer-core legs cancel each other in the closed magnetic circuits in the transformer core whichever of the windings is energized.

Combined type transformer includes: a transformer core; first and second coils provided with respect to the transformer core; first and second inductor cores provided around the first coil; and third and fourth inductor cores provided around the second coil. The transformer core and the first and second coils constitute a transformer, the first coil and the first and second inductor cores constitute a first inductor, and the second coil and the third and fourth inductor cores constitute a second inductor.

Combined type transformer and buck-boost circuit using the same

A cooling device for a semiconductor element module and a magnetic part, includes: a water-cooled type heat sink having a cooling water passage; a semiconductor element module including a plurality of chips arranged side by side in a circulation direction in the cooling water passage, the semiconductor element module being mounted on the heat sink; and a magnetic part including a core and a winding portion mounted on the core, the magnetic part being mounted on the heat sink or another heat sink. In the cooling device, a plurality of cooling fins is disposed to extend along the circulation direction in the cooling water passage in a manner that the plurality of cooling fins are separated into groups for the respective chips arranged side by side in the circulation direction, and that the groups of the cooling fins are offset from each other in a direction perpendicular to the circulation direction. Accordingly, it is possible to have improved cooling efficiency of a heat sink with cooling fins.

Cooling device for semiconductor element module and magnetic part

A multi-parallel magnetic-filed cancellation type transformer includes a plurality of coils which generate magnetic flux during energization and a core having a plurality of magnetic leg portions on which the coils are wound, and bases for fixing the magnetic leg portions. The plurality of coils are wound on the magnetic leg portions in such a manner that the magnetic flux generated from the coils are formed in the directions opposite to each other. A plurality of closed magnetic circuits of the magnetic flux are formed at the magnetic leg portions and the bases. The magnetic resistance of the closed magnetic circuits is homogeneous. Accordingly, the transformer can reduce the size thereof, and prevent the deterioration of electric power conversion efficiency.

Multi-parallel magnetic-field cancellation type transformer

A composite transformer, having first and second inductors and a transformer, includes a transformer core that has a core leg around which portions of first and second windings are wound, and a base fixing the core leg, a first inductor core that has a core leg around which a portion of the first winding is wound and a base fixing the core leg, and a second inductor core that has a core leg around which a portion of the second winding is wound and a base fixing the core leg. The first and second windings are wound in a manner that flux are cancelled with each other, and are wound around the core leg of the transformer core in a manner alternately overlapping with each other, and are wound around respective core legs of the first and second inductor cores so as to be apart from each other to suppress any interference of magnetic fluxes.

Composite transformer and power converter using same

A booster circuit according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: an input terminal; an output terminal; a common terminal; a transformation unit including first, the second, and the third windings, the windings wound in the same direction and connected in series; a first rectifier unit provided between the input terminal and a connection point of the first and the second windings; a second rectifier unit provided between the input terminal and a connection point of the second and the third windings; a first switching unit provided between one end of the transformation unit and the common terminal; a second switching unit provided between other end of the transformation unit and the common terminal; a third rectifier unit provided between a connection point of one end of the transformation unit and the first switching element and the output terminal; and a fourth rectifier unit provided between a connection point of other end of the transformation unit and the second switching element and the output terminal. The first winding and the third winding have the approximately same number of turns, and the first switching element and the second switching element open and close alternately to each other in response to a pair of control signals. Thereby, it is possible to provide a booster circuit that is capable of generating an output voltage, which is more than twice as high as an input voltage, and can be reduced in the size and the weight.

Air conditioner

There are provided a frequency analysis method permitting a frequency analysis to be performed at a high rate and a sweep type spectrum analyzer using such frequency analysis method. In the case of multiplying a signal to be measured by a main swept frequency signal; extracting the result of the multiplication through an intermediate frequency filter having a predetermined bandwidth to extract frequency components included in the signal to be measured as intermediate frequency signals; and analyzing the frequency components included in the signal to be measured based on the correspondence relation between a power of each of the intermediate frequency signals and a frequency of the main swept frequency signal, an inverse swept signal is multiplied by each intermediate frequency signal, the inverse swept signal being frequency-swept in the reverse direction to the frequency transition direction of the associated intermediate frequency signal, and a constant frequency component obtained from the results of the multiplications is extracted as a frequency spectrum included in the signal to be measured.

Frequency analysis method and sweep type spectrum analyzer

A digitized quadrature detected output of a sampling rate R (&equals;16R,, where R,is the symbol rate) from a quadrature detector is subjected to FFT processing and the frequency of the peak power spectrum of the FFT output is detected. Then, a frequency error &OHgr;,between the frequency of the peak power spectrum and a standardized value is calculated and the frequency error &OHgr;,of the detected output is corrected. The corrected output is decimated by a filter to a signal of a sampling rate 4R,, which is input into an estimate part, wherein a clock phase is calculated which minimizes variance of the amplitude of the input sample data and a frequency error &OHgr;,is computed from a deviation of the signal point of the input sample data from a standardized angle value of the signal. The frequency error &OHgr;,of the output from the filter is corrected, then a clock delay of the corrected output is corrected, and the corrected output is converted by decimation to a signal of a sampling rate R,, from which an ideal signal is derived and used to calculate modulation accuracy parameters in the same manner as in the prior art.

Apparatus and method for measuring modulation accuracy

An apparatus and method for measuring power of carrier channel in question and power leaked from an adjacent channel (leakage power) of a transmitter, and calculating a ratio between the leakage power and the carrier power in the time domain using a digital signal processing technique. The power measurement apparatus includes a frequency mixer which receives a signal from a transmission channel in consideration, an A/D converter for converting an output of the frequency mixer to a digital signal, a Hilbert converter for converting the digital signal into a complex signal, a low pass filter for removing low frequency components from the output signal of the Hilbert converter, a bandpass filter for separating the output of the low pass filter into the carrier power and the leakage power, and a power processing unit for computing the ratio between the leakage power and the carrier power.

Leakage power measurement apparatus and method

A digital signal modulation analysis device is to shorten the time for modulation analysis, and at the same time to structure a measurement device that is small in scale and inexpensive. A digital signal modulation analysis device includes a frequency convertor which converts a signal from a device under test to a first intermediate frequency signal, a sampling part which converts the first intermediate frequency signal to a second intermediate-frequency signal whose frequency is lower than that of the first intermediate frequency to store the second intermediate frequency signal in a memory, a Hilbert converter which converts an incoming signal into orthogonal component signals through a quadrant-modulate detection process, an initial synchronization part which determines a carrier center frequency, a symbol-demodulation/parameter-estimation part which determines optimal parameters to minimize a modulation error and demodulates all symbol data to determine reference data for the all symbol data, and a modulation-precision calculation component which calculates modulation-precision data and modulation-error data for each symbol.
