A lung sound analysis system includes a storage means for storing therein the history of auscultation observations on lung sound data of each of auscultation positions of a subject who is a heart failure patient, a calculation means for calculating appearance frequency of abnormal sounds for each of the auscultation positions on the basis of the history, a determination means for determining the sequence of the auscultation positions at which lung sounds are to be auscultated from the subject, on the basis of the calculated appearance frequency, and an acquisition means for giving guidance on the auscultation positions of the subject to an operator according to the determined sequence, and acquiring time-series acoustic signals including lung sounds from a guided auscultation position. The system supports medical decision-making for healthcare professionals monitoring heart failure patients.

Lung sound analysis system

A lung sound analysis system includes an acquisition means for acquiring time-series acoustic signals including lung sounds of a subject who is a heart failure patient, a determination means for determining a pause phase of breathing of the subject, a dividing means for dividing the time-series acoustic signals into those in a period of the pause phase of breathing of the subject and those in a period other than the pause phase, according to a result of the determination, and a detection means for detecting abnormality in the lung sounds from the time-series acoustic signals in the period other than the pause phase after the division. The system supports medical decision making for healthcare professionals monitoring heart failure patients.

A lung sound analysis system includes: an acquisition unit that obtains time-series acoustic signals including lung sounds from a heart failure patient; a determination unit that identifies the pause phase of the patient's breathing; a dividing unit that separates the time-series signals into those during the pause phase and those during other phases, based on the determination; a calculation unit that computes an index value representing the quality of the signals outside the pause phase, using the intensity of signals from both phases after separation; and a warning unit that issues alerts based on the calculated index value. The system supports medical decision making for healthcare professionals monitoring heart failure patients.

An electronic device module includes a metallic casing having at least one boss formed therein, an electronic device unit placed inside the casing, connector terminals for external device connection electrically connected to the electronic device unit, and a metallic ground shell disposed so as to surround the connector terminals, having a front surface covered with a metal coated layer and including at least one boss insertion portion formed, a head of the at least one boss inserted into the at least one boss insertion portion and the coated layer positioned on a periphery of the corresponding at least one boss insertion portion being welded to each other to electrically connect and fix the ground shell to the casing.

Electronic device module

In a connector that includes a board connector mounted on a board and a cable connector attached to ends of both a shielded cable and a non-shielded cable and connected to the board connector, the cable connector includes contacts connected respectively to the core wires of the shielded cable and the non-shielded cable and a shield shell that surrounds only the contacts connected to the core wires of the shielded cable, and the board connector includes board contacts connected respectively to the contacts of the cable connector and a shield shell that surrounds only the board contacts connected to the contacts surrounded by the shield shell of the cable connector. The connector properly shields the contacts connected to the core wires of the shielded cable in both of the mutually connected connectors and makes it easy to perform impedance matching.

Connector

A connector for connecting an FFC to a substrate includes a plurality of signal contacts, a ground contact, and a housing. The signal contacts are arranged to come into contact with signal terminals of the FFC. The ground contact comes into contact with the ground terminal of the FFC. The housing holds the plurality of signal contacts and the ground contact. A first distance from an end of the housing to a contact point of each signal contact with each signal terminal is set to be substantially equal to a second distance from an end of the housing to a contact point of the ground contact with the ground terminal. The first and second distances are measured along a direction in which one of the FFC and the FPC is inserted into or removed from the connector.

A connector has a housing, an insertion slot, an actuator and a biasing member. Into the insertion slot, a connection target is inserted along an insertion direction. The actuator has a pusher. The actuator is held on the housing so as to be turnable between an open position and a close position. The actuator allows the connection target to be inserted into the insertion slot when the actuator is positioned at the open position. The pusher pushes the inserted connection target along a thickness direction of the connection target when the actuator is turned to the close position after the connection target is inserted into the insertion slot. The thickness direction is perpendicular to the insertion direction. The biasing member is operable to bias the pusher toward the inserted connection target when the actuator is located at the close position.

In a connector for connecting first and second connection objects faced to each other, a conductive contact includes a holding portion held by an insulator, a first spring portion, and a second spring portion connected to the first spring portion. The first spring portion extends from the holding portion in one direction and has a first contacting portion to be connected to the first connection object. The second spring portion extends in the other direction opposite to the one direction and has a free end provided with a second contacting portion to be connected to the second connection object.

Connector which can be reduced in warpage

Provided is a connector capable of facilitating a work of connecting first and second connection targets. A first receiving part to be coupled to a first plug connector and a second receiving part to be coupled to a second plug connector are formed at the housing of a relay connector which electrically connects the first and second plug connectors to be mounted on a chassis. The housing is provided with a contact which establishes conduction between the first plug connector coupled to the first receiving part and the second plug connector coupled to the second receiving part. The housing comprises a housing body having the first and second receiving parts, and a hook provided at the housing body to engage with a hole provided in the chassis.

In a hinge unit for use in an electronic apparatus, a shaft has a part held by a first member unrotatable and axially unmovable. Around the other part of the shaft, a flexible portion of a circuit board is wound. A second member is rotatable and axially unmovable with respect to the shaft. An intermediate member is faced to the second member in an axial direction and is unrotatable and axially movable with respect to the shaft. By an elastic member interposed between the shaft and the intermediate member, the intermediate member is urged towards the second member in the axial direction. The second member and the intermediate member are engaged with each other in a rotating direction by an engaging structure. The engaging structure releases the engagement with energization of the elastic member in response to a rotating force applied between the second member and the intermediate member.

Simple hinge unit capable of providing electrical connection in an electronic apparatus

Electrical connector

In a hinge apparatus for rotatably connecting a first housing and a second housing of an electronic apparatus, the hinge apparatus includes a first rotating portion adapted to be connected to the first housing and a second rotating portion adapted to be connected to the second housing and rotatable with respect to the first rotating portion. The second rotating portion unrotatably holds a switch. A cam member is disposed to face the switch. The cam member is rotatable with respect to the second rotating portion and adapted to be engaged with the second housing in a rotating direction of the hinge apparatus. The switch includes a conductive first contact and a conductive second contact faced to the first contact and adapted to be connected to and disconnected from the first contact. The cam member has a cam portion for pressing the second contact following the rotation of the cam member to connect and disconnect the second contact to and from the first contact.

Hinge apparatus having a switch and electronic apparatus including the hinge apparatus

In a hinge connector including a shaft member and a flexible board coupled thereto, the shaft member has a first shaft extending in a first direction and a second shaft extending from the first shaft in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. The flexible board has first and second winding portions which are wound around the first and the second shafts, respectively.
