A switch unit includes: a tactile switch; a cable which transmits an operation signal generated when the tactile switch is operated; a formed part where a fitting engagement portion which is disposed on an operation section exterior member at a predetermined position, a recessed surface which is formed on a side of a first end portion with respect to the fitting engagement portion and where the tactile switch is mounted, a cable fixing portion which is disposed on a side of a second end portion which is a side opposite to the first end portion with the fitting engagement portion positioned between the first end portion and the second end portion and to which the cable is connected, and a circuit which electrically connects the recessed surface and the cable fixing portion to each other and transmits an operation signal generated by the tactile switch to the cable are formed.

Switch unit and endoscope

A valve unit is switchable to an open position at which an outside of an exterior portion and an inner cavity communicate with each other and a closed position at which a communication between the outside of the exterior portion and the inner cavity is blocked in an endoscope. In the endoscope, an electric power is supplied to a drive force generation section only when a connection portion of an universal cord is connected to a peripheral device, and the drive force generation section generates a drive force to drive the valve unit by a supply of the electric power. The valve unit moves from the closed position to the open position by the drive force generated by the drive force generation section.

Endoscope

A light-source device includes a lamp unit having a light-source lamp and a device housing which is provided with a lamp-unit container for containing the lamp unit in a removable manner. The device housing includes a CPU for measuring the illumination time of the light-source lamp and an antenna for sending the illumination time measured by the CPU to the lamp unit. The lamp unit includes an RFID tag which is fixed thereto. The RFID tag is provided with an antenna for receiving the illumination time information sent from the antenna of the housing and a rewritable memory for storing the illumination time information received by the antenna of the tag.
