In a vehicle body frame structure for a saddle riding vehicle, including an engine, a vehicle body frame that supports the engine, and a swing arm that supports a rear wheel. The vehicle body frame includes a head pipe, a main frame that extends from the head pipe toward a rear of the vehicle along a path superior to the engine, a down frame that extends from the head pipe downwardly along a path anterior to the engine, a lower frame that extends from a lower portion of the down frame toward the rear of the vehicle along a path inferior to the engine, and a pivot support member that extends from a rear portion of the lower frame upwardly up to a position of a pivot shaft that rotatably supports the swing arm. The pivot support member includes a pivot support portion that supports the pivot shaft.

Vehicle body frame structure for saddle riding vehicle

One embodiment provides a saddle-ride type vehicle. The vehicle includes a main frame; a drive source supported by a lower side of the main frame; an energy storing part supported by an upper side of the main frame; a front wheel steerably supported via a front fork mounted on a front side of the main frame; a rear wheel supported via a swing arm mounted on a rear side of the main frame and configured to be driven by the drive source; and seat frames disposed on the rear side of the main frame to support a riding seat. A braking control device is disposed within a lateral width between the seat frames, and is supported by a rear fender supported by the seat frame via a vibration control member. And, an inertia measuring device is supported by the braking control device.

Saddle-ride type vehicle

A fuel cap is constituted to close an upper portion of a tubular member constituting a filler opening of a fuel tank, and wherein the breather mechanism is constituted to discharge vaporized fuel separated by gas-liquid separation in a labyrinth path within the fuel cap through a breather drain hose supported at a side of the fuel tank, the fuel tank further comprising: a plate member fixed to a support member to support the fuel cap to the fuel tank; and a seal member to airtightly communicate an exit of the labyrinth path and an end portion of the breather drain hose when the fuel cap is closed. The breather drain hose connected to a lower side of the seal member is supported by the plate member.

Fuel tank for saddled vehicle

An engine supporting structure for a saddle-ride type vehicle is configured such that an engine is supported from above in substantially a center position between a head pipe and a pivot in a side view, on a pair of right and left main frames that are branched to right and left from the head pipe and that extend rearward. Only inner surfaces in a vehicle width direction of the right and left main frames are formed with a pair of left front mounting portions and a pair of right rear mounting portions, that project inward in the vehicle width direction, respectively, the front mounting portions and the rear mounting portions are mounted with engine hangers that extend downward, and the engine is supported through the engine hangers.

Engine supporting structure for saddle-ride type vehicle

Straddle type vehicle takes traveling wind into a space between paired left and right main frames. Air is introduced to an air cleaner arranged between the paired left and right main frames. The paired main frames include left and right U-shaped portions having U-shaped cross sections opened inward in the vehicle width direction and constituting a part of an air cleaner case. Hollow left and right frame portions are provided below the left and right U-shaped portions, and the air cleaner is arranged between the left and right U-shaped portions.

Straddle type vehicle

A fuel-tank support structure for a motorcycle includes a left outer extending portion, a right outer extending portion, a left tank support stay, and a right tank support stay. The left outer extending portion is provided in a left main frame to extend outward in a vehicle width direction of the motorcycle. The left main frame extends rearward to diverge from a head pipe to left. The right outer extending portion is provided in a right main frame to extend outward in the vehicle width direction. The right main frame extends rearward to diverge from the head pipe to right. The left tank support stay protrudes from a fuel tank and is supported by the left outer extending portion. The right tank support stay protrudes from the fuel tank and is supported by the right outer extending portion.

Fuel-tank support structure for motorcycle

An exhaust-gas muffler includes a casing and a relief valve. The relief valve is provided to open when a pressure of an upstream exhaust-gas chamber is equal to or higher than a predetermined value. The relief valve includes a shutter, a spring, and a seal member. The shutter member is provided to face an open end of a gas passage provided between an upstream exhaust-gas chamber and a downstream exhaust-gas chamber. The spring is to bias the shutter member in a direction in which the gas passage is closed. The seal member is disposed on a downstream side of the gas passage. The seal member is made of a metal mesh material and has a disc shape to cover the open end of the gas passage.

Exhaust-gas muffler

A saddle-type vehicle includes: a water-cooled engine supported on a vehicle body frame; a radiator attached to the vehicle body frame and configured to cool the engine; an outer cowl provided at a lateral side of the vehicle body frame and radiator; and a layer cowl having a front portion disposed inward of a rear portion of the outer cowl in a vehicle width direction. In the saddle-type vehicle, the outer cowl has a slit portion extending upward from a rear lower edge of the outer cowl and the layer cowl has fixing portions which fix portions of the outer cowl in front of and behind the slit portion to improve the airflow exhaust performance while securing the function of the outer cowls as a windscreen and a rider's thermal comfort.
