Provided is a dental ultrasonic cleaning device that efficiently cleans teeth or dentures in an oral cavity using ultrasonic waves. A dental ultrasonic cleaning deviceemits ultrasonic waves through a cleaning-liquid (W) to the surface of a cleaning-target, ultrasonically cleaning it. An ultrasonic hornpropagates ultrasonic waves being generated by an ultrasonic-wave transducerand emits them from the vibratory surfaceprovided at the tip-end of the horn. A liquid-reserving partis provided, surrounding the vibratory surfaceof the ultrasonic horn, which temporarily reserves the cleaning-liquid (W) between the vibratory surfaceand the cleaning-target. A cap-memberis provided at a certain interval opposite the liquid-reserving part. Dental ultrasonic cleaning device and method for cleaning teeth or dentures by using ultrasonic waves

This invention is achieved to provide a water-flow ultrasonic oral-cavity cleaning device. In the water-flow ultrasonic oral-cavity cleaning device (), cleaning liquid (W) from a cleaning-liquid supplying device () is supplied into a transducer case () through a supply port (). Ultrasonic waves (S) are propagated into the cleaning liquid Wfrom an ultrasonic transducer () mounted in a transducer mounting part () inside the transducer case (). The water-flow of the cleaning liquid (W) is collected at the apical-part inside the transducer case (), and then emitted from the issue () into the oral cavity, wherein power supply of 100W or less is supplied to the ultrasonic transducer () of 50 mm or less in diameter to propagate the ultrasonic waves (S) of 100 kHz or more to 3 MHz or less in frequency into the cleaning liquid (W).

Flow-type ultrasonic oral cavity washing device

A drive circuit is used in a Langevin type ultrasonic bolt-tightening motor in which a motor drive voltage having a given frequency is applied to a piezo-electric element in a stator section, the resulting longitudinal and torsional vibrations being effective to rotate a motor section. The drive circuit has a longitudinal vibration sensor for detecting the longitudinal vibration in the stator section, a torsional vibration sensor for detecting vibration in the stator section and a frequency controller for controlling the frequency of the motor drive voltage such that the phase difference between the detection signals of the longitudinal and torsional vibration sensors becomes 90 degrees so as to provide maximum efficiency. Thus, the frequency of the motor drive voltage can be feedback controlled to maintain an optimum drive frequency despite the varying of the optimum drive frequency due to changes in various factors.
