A disc device according to the present disclosure is a disc device for supplying a disc to each of a plurality of disc drives, and includes a carrier for retaining a plurality of discs in a stacked state, for separating one disc from the retained plurality of discs above a tray that is ejected from an arbitrary disc drive, and for placing the separated one disc on the tray. The carrier includes a first support claw that is capable of moving forward and backward below the plurality of discs, a second support claw that is capable of moving forward and backward into and out of a gap between a bottom disc and a disc that is adjacent to the bottom disc, among the plurality of discs, and a separation claw that is capable of moving forward and backward into and out of the gap and of pushing the bottom disc downward, where the bottom disc is separated from the retained plurality of discs by moving the first support claw, the second support claw, and the separation claw forward and backward, and pushing the bottom disc downward by the separation claw.

Disc device and disc separation method

A disc device includes a plurality of magazines, each having a tray that stores a plurality of discs, a plurality of disc drives that performs recording or reproducing of information on or from the plurality of discs, a picker that draws out the tray from one of the plurality of magazines and that conveys the tray to a position near the plurality of disc drives, and a disc separating and supplying device that, at the position near the plurality of disc drives, holds the plurality of discs stored in the tray, separates at least one of the plurality of discs stored in the tray from a remainder of the plurality of the discs stored in the tray, and supplies the at least one of the plurality of discs stored in the tray to at least one of the plurality of disc drives.

Disc device

A music reproduction apparatus in which a first reproduction unit that has a first retainer capable of retaining a first external audio source and a second reproduction unit that has a second retainer capable of retaining a second external audio source are arranged next to each other. The music reproduction apparatus includes an opening-closing door that covers the first reproduction unit and the second reproduction unit in an openable and closable manner. The second retainer is positioned at an accommodation position on the deeper side than the opening-closing door in the state covered by the opening-closing door. When the opening-closing door is moved to uncover the second retainer, the second retainer is drawn from the accommodation position to move to a draw out position.

A disc device with which the disc replacing time can further be suppressed includes a picker for conveying a plurality of discs in a stacked state, and a carrier which retains the plurality of discs in a stacked state, which supplies the retained plurality of discs to a respective one of a plurality of disc drives, respectively, and which collects the supplied plurality of discs in a stacked state. The carrier is structured to retain a stacked object made up of a first plurality of discs collected from the plurality of disc drives and a second plurality of discs to be supplied next to the plurality of disc drives.

The carrier includes a plurality of claw portions holding the inner circumferential portion of the bottommost disc out of the plurality of discs, and a disc press pressing the topmost disc out of the plurality of discs so as to be in parallel to the disc placing face of the tray.

To provide a disk apparatus including a disk guide for guiding movement of a disk in a disk insertion direction; wherein the disk guide includes a platy guide member, a convex portion provided in vicinity of opposite ends of a platy guide member, and an engagement portion disposed on the same surface as the convex portion of the guide member. By engaging and fixing the engagement portion to a platy disk guide fixing member, which is disposed in a chassis of the disk apparatus, and bringing into contact with the convex portion on this platy disk guide fixing member, the disk guide is inclined in a direction far from the disk fixing member with an inclined angle increased from the center part of the guide member toward respective ends and the disk guide brings into contact with only an outer circumferential portion of the disk in inserting.

A magnetic head is fixedly mounted on the cassette holder in a cassette tape recorder. When a tape cassette is inserted into the cassette holder, a magnetic tape is brought into contact with the front face of the magnetic head through an access opening in the tape cassette. In response to selection of stop, fast-forward, and rewind modes of operation, a pad shifter disposed on the cassette holder adjacent to the magnetic head is moved to displace a pad in the tape cassette out of pressed contact with the magnetic tape. When in a recording or playback mode of operation, the pad shifter is retracted to allow the pad to resiliently press the magnetic tape against the magnetic head. The tape recorder is rendered small in size particularly in the transverse direction of the tape cassette inserted.

When constructing an electrical or electronic device or mechanical device such as a tape recorder, the framework therefor must be provided with various projections for installing various components to be contained therein, or something such as a spring for actuating the mechanism incorporated thereon must be previously provided on the framework. The present disclosure relates to such projections which are made of synthetic resin which can be integrally formed on a metallic plate during the step of molding and also to such molded projections which are not deformed by the shrinking of the synthetic resin when molded integrally with the plate to form the framework.
