Coil component and electronic device

To provide a new type of coil component capable of providing a high inductance and excellent in insulation reliability. A coil component according to one embodiment of the present invention is provided with an insulating body, a first external electrode provided on a surface of the insulating body, a second external electrode provided on a surface of the insulating body, and a coil conductor provided between the first external electrode and the second external electrode. In the coil conductor, a conductor pattern having a larger potential difference from the second external electrode is arranged farther from the second external electrode, and a conductor pattern having a larger potential difference from the first external electrode is arranged farther from the first external electrode.

Laminated coil component

A magnetic coupling coil component according to one embodiment of the present invention includes: an insulating layer; a first coil conductor embedded in the insulating layer, the first coil conductor having a first top coil surface and a first bottom coil surface; a second coil conductor embedded in the insulating layer, the second coil conductor having a second top coil surface and a second bottom coil surface; a first cover layer provided on a first surface of the insulating layer so as to be opposed to the first top coil surface; and a second cover layer provided on a second surface of the insulating layer opposite to the first surface so as to be opposed to the second bottom coil surface. At least one of the first cover layer and the second cover layer has a magnetic permeability higher than a magnetic permeability of the insulating layer.

Magnetic coupling coil component

A magnetic coupling coil component includes: a main body including a first region, a second region disposed on a top side of the first region, and a third region disposed on a bottom side of the first region; a top-side coil conductor provided in the second region of the main body and wound around a coil axis extending in a top-bottom direction; and a bottom-side coil conductor provided in the third region of the main body and wound around the coil axis. The top-side coil conductor includes a plurality of top-side conductive patterns, and the plurality of top-side conductive patterns include a first top-side conductive pattern which is positioned closest to the first region among the plurality of top-side conductive patterns, and a number of turns of the first top-side conductive pattern is larger than an average of numbers of turns of the plurality of top-side conductive patterns.

To provide a new type of laminated coil component capable of providing a high inductance and excellent in insulation reliability. A laminated coil component according to one embodiment of the present invention is provided with a laminate, a first external electrode provided on a surface of the laminate, a second external electrode provided on a surface of the laminate, and a coil conductor provided between the first external electrode and the second external electrode. In the coil conductor, a conductor pattern having a larger potential difference from the second external electrode is arranged farther from the second external electrode, and a conductor pattern having a larger potential difference from the first external electrode is arranged farther from the first external electrode.

In an exemplary embodiment, a passive component which is a surface mounting component, includes: a substrate bodyhaving insulation property; an internal conductorembedded in the substrate body; and an external electrodeprovided on the bottom face, which is the mounting surface, of the substrate bodyand electrically connected to the internal conductor; wherein the external electrodehas a faceroughly parallel with the bottom faceof the substrate body, and a dome-shaped projectionthat bulges, with reference to the roughly parallel face, away from the bottom faceof the substrate body. The passive component can prevent misalignment problems at mounting.

Passive component and electronic device

A coil component that can be made thinner while ensuring sufficient magnetic characteristics includes a magnetic part, a conductor part, and multiple insulator parts. The magnetic part is constituted by magnetic alloy grains. The conductor part has multiple winding parts and is wound around one axis inside the magnetic part. The multiple insulator parts are each placed between the multiple winding parts, each having a winding shape that includes two joining surfaces that are respectively joined to two winding parts facing each other at least partially in the direction of the one axis, and are each constituted by electrically insulating grains.

Coil component and method for manufacturing the same

A laminated inductor, which offers high inductance while suppressing increase in direct-current resistance, has a rectangular solid laminate and a pair of terminal electrodes formed only on the bottom face of the laminate, wherein a folded conductor piece is provided on the first magnetic layer in a manner constituting around one turn worth of the windings, with one end placed near the first corner and the other end placed at a position toward the center and away from this one end so as not to overlap with the one end, while one of multiple sets of coil conductor pieces, each set constituting around one turn worth of the windings, is placed on multiple magnetic layers in the laminate.
