A refrigerant distributor includes an inlet pipe, a header pipe to which the inlet pipe has been connected and a plurality of refrigerant pipes connected to one end side of the header pipe which is opposite to the side that the inlet pipe is connected, below the inlet pipe in a vertical direction, and is configured such that a refrigerant which has flown into the header pipe through the inlet pipe is distributed into the plurality of refrigerant pipes. The header pipe is arranged such that a vertical upper side of the header pipe is inclined toward the one end side that the refrigerant pipes are connected. Thereby, it is possible to stably distribute the refrigerant to each refrigerant pipe while suppressing an increase in cost under flow rate conditions ranging from a rated operation condition to a low rotating speed operation condition.

The apparatus comprises an image-stabilizing unit which includes a movable unit movable for image stabilization and balls movable in conjunction with the movement of the movable unit, and a controller which controls operations of the movable unit. The controller causes the movable unit to perform a specific operation for moving the balls to a specific position in response to mounting of the optical apparatus on another optical apparatus, the specific operation being a different operation from an image stabilization operation of the image-stabilizing unit.

A lens-interchangeable camera includes a focus detector performing focus detection and a controller performing a drive control of a lens based on a defocus amount. The controller finishes focusing operation without driving the lens when the defocus amount is out a range of a first in-focus determination width, and performs the focusing operation when the defocus amount is out a range of the first in-focus determination width. The controller finishes the focusing operation without performing the focus detection again after completing the drive when the defocus amount is out a range of a second in-focus determination width, and performs the focus detection again after completing the drive when the defocus amount is out a range of the second in-focus determination width. The second in-focus determination width is set to be greater than the first in-focus determination width and be greater than or equal to a drive limit value.

An image pick-up apparatus is disclosed which allows a reduction in degradation of images associated with a changed image magnification due to movements in a focus direction during image pick-up operation. The image pick-up apparatus has an image pick-up controller which performs a plurality of image pick-up operations for producing a single image and performs focus adjustment operation before each of the image pick-up operations to produce a first plurality of images, and an information producer which produces information on an image magnification of each of the first plurality of images.
