A side sill constituting a vehicle body comprises a side sill outer and a side sill inner. Each of an upper-side side face portion (upper face portion) and a lower-side side face portion (lower face portion) of the side sill inner comprises a second bending portion (bending portion) being formed by each of the upper face portion and the lower face portion bent toward an inside of the side sill, an upper-side slant face portion and a lower-side slant portion which respectively extend toward the side sill outer in an oblique direction such that a width, in a vertical direction, of the side sill inner gradually increases, and a second upper face portion and a second lower face portion (vehicle-width-direction face portions) which respectively extend in a vehicle width direction toward an inward side, in the vehicle width direction, from the second bending portion.

Lower vehicle-body structure of vehicle

A lower vehicle-body structure of a vehicle is provided with a frame member having a closed-cross section. The frame member comprises a first portion and a second portion. The first portion comprises a compression face portion and a pair of side face portions. The side face portion comprises a bending portion, a compression-side area which is positioned on a side of the compression face portion relative to the bending portion and where a compressive stress is generated when the bending load is applied, and a tension-side area which is positioned on a side away from the compression face portion relative to the bending portion and where a tensile stress is generated when the bending load is applied. The compression-side area is configured to have higher rigidity than the tension-side area.

A side sill comprises a side sill outer and a side sill inner. Each of an upper-side side face portion (upper face portion) and a lower-side side face portion (lower face portion) of the side sill outer comprises a first bending portion bent toward an inside of the side sill. A lithium-ion battery device comprises a housing, a battery cell stored inside the housing, and an adjacent member provided adjacently to and on a rearward side, in a vehicle longitudinal direction, of the battery cell. The battery cell comprises a cell case, an electrode body stored inside the cell case, and a pair of terminals. The cell case includes a first main face and a second main face which face to each other in the vehicle longitudinal direction. At least two gap-forming portions which respectively have a smaller area than the second main face and have a specified thickness of the vehicle longitudinal direction are arranged between the second main face and the adjacent member. The two gap-forming portions are provided to be spaced apart from each other in an inter-terminal direction of the battery cell.

To provide prepreg having high thermostability and a molded body (fiber reinforced composite) obtained from the prepreg, the prepreg is formed by impregnating a reinforced fiber having an elastic modulus of 100 to 900 GPa with an epoxy resin composition including the following Components A to D so as to have a resin content within a range of 25 to 50 mass %: Component A: an epoxy resin having an oxazolidone ring structure in a molecule thereof; Component B: an epoxy resin that is liquid at 30&#xb0; C.; Component C: a diblock copolymer having a B-M structure, wherein M is a block including at least 50 mass % of methyl methacrylate, B is a block immiscible with the epoxy resins and the block M, a glass transition temperature of the block B being 20&#xb0; C. or lower; and Component D: dicyandiamide, or an amine curing agent that is a derivative of dicyandiamide.

A floor carpet is placed on a floor panel forming a cabin floor surface. The floor carpet comprises a skin layer which is configured to block an airflow therethrough and a sound-absorption layer which is made of a sound-absorption material and configured to allow an airflow therein, the sound-absorption layer being provided below the skin layer to contact the floor panel at a lower face thereof. A space between the skin layer and the floor panel (a space portion where the sound-absorption layer is arranged) is sealed with a seal member which is configured to surround the sound-absorption layer. The seal member is pressed against the floor panel (tightly) by a pressing member which is fixed to a vehicle-body side with a fixing tool.

A bead portion is provided at a compression-side wall portion to be recessed toward an inside of a main closed cross section. A first reinforcing member is provided in the closed cross section and joined to a tension-side wall portion so as to form a first sub cross section extending in a longitudinal direction between the tension-side wall portion and the first reinforcing member. Disclosed is a rear vehicle body structure of a vehicle, which comprises a rear floor panel, and a rear side frame joined to a lower surface of the rear floor panel to extend in a front-rear direction. A bottom wall of the rear side frame has a bottom reinforcing portion formed to protrude upwardly or downwardly, and a standing wall of the rear side frame located on a vehicle-widthwise inner side has a side reinforcing portion formed to protrude outwardly in the vehicle width direction. The bottom reinforcing portion includes a top, an outer inclined section extending from the top obliquely outwardly in the vehicle width direction, and an inner inclined section extending from the top obliquely inwardly in the vehicle width direction, wherein the inner inclined section has an inclination angle less than an inclination angle of the outer inclined section.
