A power tool having a hammer mechanism includes a motor, a driving mechanism operably connected to the motor and configured to at least linearly drive a tool accessory along a driving axis, a tool body that houses the motor and the driving mechanism, an outer housing elastically connected to the tool body such that the outer housing at least partially covers the tool body and being slidable relative to the tool body in a first direction substantially parallel to the driving axis, a guide part configured to guide sliding movement of the outer housing relative to the tool body, and a handle including a grip part extending in a second direction, the handle being elastically connected at least to the outer housing and being movable relative to the outer housing in the first direction and in at least one direction that intersects the first direction.

Power tool having a hammer mechanism

A self-suction dust collection attachment including a dust collection motor and a fan can be mechanically coupled and electrically connected to multiple types of power tools. A dust collection attachment attachable to a first power tool includes a casing, a suction portion, a dust collector that captures dust sucked through the suction portion, a fan that generates a suction force in the suction portion, a dust collection motor that rotates the fan, and an adapter attachable to at least a second power tool and detachably attachable to the casing. The driving mechanism is configured to operate by power of the motor in an action mode that is selected from a plurality of operation modes including a first mode of at least rotationally driving a tool accessory around a driving axis and a second mode of only linearly driving the tool accessory along the driving axis. The grip part extends in a direction crossing the driving axis and is configured to be held by a user. The first operation member is on the tool body and faces the grip part. The first operation member is configured to be manually operated by the user to change the action mode of the driving mechanism.

A rotary hammer includes a tool body, a tool holder, a cylinder, and a coupling member. The tool holder has a tubular shape and a longitudinal axis. The tool holder is configured to hold a tool accessory to be movable along the longitudinal axis and is supported by the tool body to be rotatable around the longitudinal axis. The cylinder extends coaxially with the tool holder and is supported by the tool body to be rotatable around the longitudinal axis. The coupling member is between the tool holder and the cylinder in a radial direction of the tool holder and is engaged with the tool holder and the cylinder to couple the tool holder and the cylinder together such that the tool holder and the cylinder integrally rotate.

First and second batteries (A,B) are mountable thereon in series along a straight line that extends in the longitudinal direction. The first battery (A) is mounted on the first battery mount part (A) by sliding along the straight line towards the second battery mount part (B). The second battery (B) is mounted on the second battery mount part (B) by sliding along the straight line towards the first battery mount part (A).

Dust collection system for power tool

In a dust collector for electric power tool, while a casing includes a tubular suction opening portion disposed to protrude forward, a dust collecting route is formed in the casing to ensure capturing a dust suctioned with an air by a filter disposed in a dust box. The suction opening portion is abutted on a surface to be processed and a tool bit of a hammer drill is passable through the suction opening portion. The dust collecting route suctions the air from the suction opening portion and guides the air into the dust box disposed to the casing. The dust box includes a dust removal device (rubber) configured to directly act to the filter from outside to remove the dust accumulated on the filter.

A power tool includes a motor, a housing, a battery holder and a cushion. The battery holder is held by the housing to be movable at least in a first direction relative to the housing. The battery holder is configured to removably receive a battery for supplying electric power to the motor. The cushion is held by the housing such that the first direction intersects the cushion. When the battery is attached to the battery holder, the cushion is directly or indirectly disposed between the battery and the housing.

A power tool includes a hammer mechanism, a brushless motor and a cooling fan. The brushless motor includes a rotary member having a motor shaft operably coupled to the hammer mechanism for linearly driving a tool accessory. The cooling fan has a first blade part and is configured to be rotated by the rotary member. The cooling fan includes a polymer portion, which forms at least a portion of the first blade part, and a metal portion disposed in or on the polymer portion. When viewed in a direction parallel to a rotational axis of the cooling fan, the metal member at least partially overlaps the first blade part in a radial direction of the cooling fan.
