A driving assistance device includes a travel information acquisition unit, a first information acquisition unit, a second information acquisition unit, a first determination unit, a second determination unit, a first avoidance-amount setting unit, a second avoidance-amount setting unit, and a driving control unit. The second avoidance-amount setting unit sets, when the second avoidance-amount setting unit sets a control amount of a driving control as a second avoidance amount for performing a second avoidance driving action, the control amount smaller than a control amount that is set as a first avoidance amount by the first avoidance-amount setting unit, and sets, when the second avoidance-amount setting unit sets a start timing of the driving control as the second avoidance amount for performing the second avoidance driving action, the start timing later than a start timing that is set as the first avoidance amount by the first avoidance-amount setting unit.

Driving assistance device

A traveling assistance apparatus recognizes a travel road on which a vehicle is traveling, acquires a traveling state of the vehicle, and determines whether or not the vehicle will deviate from the travel road based on the recognition result of the travel road and the traveling state of the vehicle. The apparatus determines whether to perform, as a prevention method for preventing from the travel road, a method in which either of steering control and brake control of the vehicle is performed, or a method in which a period over which either of the steering control and the brake control is performed and a period over which both of the steering control and the brake control are performed are set. The apparatus sets a steering amount for the steering control and a brake amount for the brake control when the deviation prevention control is performed based on the prevention method.

Traveling assistance apparatus

In a collision avoidance apparatus (), a first information acquisition unit () generates first information that includes the position, speed and advancement direction of a first mobile body, and obtains first information from a first information transmitting unit () having a transmitting function. A second information acquisition unit () obtains second information that includes the position, speed and advancement direction of a second mobile body. A first mobile body prediction unit () predicts positions (P) of the first mobile body at future time points T, based on the first information, and a second mobile body prediction unit () predicts the positions (P) of the second mobile body at the time points T, based on the second information. A judgement unit () judges whether or not the positions (P) of the first mobile body and the positions (P) of the second mobile body satisfy predetermined conditions, and if the conditions are satisfied, a signal outputting unit () outputs a signal which is specific to that case.

Collision avoidance apparatus, collision avoidance system, and driving support method

A control device for a vehicle brake system includes first judgment value derivation and storage means for deriving and storing as first judgment value a boosting limit judgment pressure which, if predetermined conditions are satisfied during the driving of hydraulic pumps by boost control means, a boosting limit judgment pressure calculation means calculates at the time when the predetermined conditions are satisfied, and returning start judgment means for judging whether the returning of the brake manipulation member has been started or not. The boost control means executes the boost control using as the boosting limit judgment pressure the first judgment value stored in the first judgment value derivation and storage means when the returning start judgment means judges during the driving of the pumps that the returning of the brake manipulation member has been started.

Control device for vehicle brake system

The control device adapted to a vehicle brake apparatus includes a vacuum obtaining portion, a master cylinder pressure obtaining portion and a boosting control portion for executing a boosting control which controls supplying of a boosting pressure established by driving the hydraulic pressure pump and controlling the pressure differential control valve so that the boosting pressure agrees to a target boosting pressure obtained with a target boosting gain smaller than a basic boosting gain which indicates a servo-ratio of the vacuum booster up to the time, when the master cylinder pressure becomes equal to or more than a boosting limit pressure which is a master cylinder pressure corresponding to a boosting limit of the vacuum booster at the vacuum obtained by the vacuum pressure obtaining portion, in addition to the master cylinder pressure established in response to the operation of the brake operation member.

Control device for a brake apparatus

The similarity groups of the pressure differential&#x2014;current characteristics of solenoid valves are measured in advance, and the measurement results are used to select the solenoid valves to be used for first to fourth pressure increase control valves. Only solenoid valves in the same region in terms of their similarity group of the pressure differential&#x2014;current characteristics are used for the first to fourth pressure increase control valves. A board on which the first to fourth control valves are mounted is provided with a mark unit that indicates the similarity group of the pressure differential&#x2014;current characteristics of the first to forth pressure increase control valves. The mark unit includes a resistor. A brake ECU uses the resistance value of the resistor to identify the similarity group of the pressure differential&#x2014;current characteristics of the first to fourth pressure increase control valves.

Vehicle brake fluid pressure control device

In a vehicular brake control system in which pressure upstream of a plurality of pressure increase control valves is variable, a brake control ECU sets a value of a current supplied to a solenoid coil in each of the pressure increase control valves in accordance with a physical quantity corresponding to a brake fluid pressure upstream of the pressure increase control valves, e.g., in accordance with a master cylinder pressure detected by a pressure sensor and an instruction current value for differential pressure control valves.

Vehicular brake control system

In a vehicle brake apparatus for executing ABS control to prevent a wheel from locking in such a manner that braking force is controlled so as to keep a slip ratio of a wheel at a target slip ratio so that an excessive drop of a wheel speed from a vehicle body speed is adjusted, an output current for driving a braking actuator is set to a current on which oscillating waves are superimposed during ABS control so that the wheel speed changes to show oscillating waves. Even if the wheel speed once drops to an extent that the slip ratio exceeds the target slip ratio, further decrease of the wheel speed is restricted and the wheel speed turns to an increase soon and this cycle is repeated. Accordingly, there occurs no excessive drop of the wheel speed due to the response delay so that sufficient braking force is generated.
