A composition having excellent dischargeability by an ink jet method and reduced clogging of an ink jet apparatus is provided. The composition contains a fluorinated alcohol A represented by the formula (1) and having a boiling point of 50&#xb0; C. or more and less than 150&#xb0; C., a fluorinated alcohol B represented by the formula (1) and having a boiling point of 150&#xb0; C. or more and less than 300&#xb0; C., and a charge transportable compound, in which the ratio rate of the fluorinated alcohol B with respect to 100 parts by mass of the sum of the fluorinated alcohol A and the fluorinated alcohol B is 10 parts by mass to 90 parts by mass:CHFOH &#x2003;&#x2003;()In formula (1), nF is an integer of 1 to 12 and mF is an integer of 1 to 25, provided that 2nF+1&#x2265;mF.

Composition, film production method, and light emitting device

Provided is a light-emitting device including an anode, a light-emitting layer, an electron-transporting layer and a cathode. The electron-transporting layer contains at least one electron-transporting material whose LUMO level is &#x2212;3.0 eV or more and at least one dopant material selected from the group consisting of a heterocyclic compound whose SOMO level is &#x2212;2.2 to &#x2212;1.5 eV and a derivative thereof.
