A vibration generating device includes a housing, a vibrator including a magnet, and a resilient member between the housing and the vibrator. The vibration generating device includes a coil configured to generate a magnetic field that causes the vibrator to vibrate. The vibration generating device includes a bracket including a coil-mounting portion on which the coil is mounted. The housing includes bracket supports provided at ends of two opposing side surfaces among the four side surfaces of the housing, the ends being situated opposite ends, of the two opposing side surfaces, to which the bottom of the housing is connected. The bracket includes connection portions bonded to the respective bracket supports. The bracket supports of the housing and the connection portions of the bracket are connected together in a state in which the bracket is inserted into a space of the housing.

Vibration generating device

A vibration generator includes a housing; a vibrator; an elastic member that connects the housing and the vibrator; and a driver that causes the vibrator to vibrate. The elastic member includes a housing connection portion that is connected to the housing, a vibrator support portion that supports the vibrator, and a spring portion that connects the housing connection portion and the vibrator support portion. The housing connection portion and the vibrator support portion are in the same plane. The spring portion is formed so as to be approximately perpendicular to the housing connection portion and the vibrator support portion.

A vibration generator includes a housing, a first vibrator, and a second vibrator. The first vibrator includes a hollow yoke having a through hole, a magnet disposed within the through hole of the yoke, and a first elastic support member. The second vibrator includes a coil disposed above or below the magnet within the through hole of the yoke, and a second elastic support member to which the coil is fixed and that is disposed to extend from the inside to the outside of the through hole of the yoke and that is fixed to the housing. The first vibrator vibrates at a first natural frequency in a direction connecting both side portions of the yoke. The second vibrator vibrates at a second natural frequency that is different from the first natural frequency, in the direction connecting the both side portions of the yoke.

Vibration generator

A method of producing a surface-treated carbon black powder dispersion includes subjecting carbon black fine particles having a volume average particle size of 100 nm to 20 &#x3bc;m to wet granulation and drying by heating to obtain granulated carbon black having a hardness of 12 cN or less and a pH of less than 7, grinding the granulated carbon black to obtain a ground product having a volume average particle size of 20 nm to 20 &#x3bc;m, and subjecting the ground product to wet oxidization in an aqueous medium. The resulting surface-treated carbon black powder dispersion exhibits excellent print density, print quality, discharge stability, and storage stability when used as an inkjet printer aqueous black ink.
