A gate system control device is a gate system control device configured to control a gate system having an exit gate, and includes a first sensor, a second sensor, and a controller. The first sensor senses that a passport of a person who is in the gate system is placed on a placement region. The second sensor senses that the person is moving. The controller controls the gate system. When the first sensor senses that the passport is placed on the placement region and the second sensor senses that the person is moving to the exit gate, the controller causes the gate system to execute processing for notifying the person.

Gate system control device and method for controlling gate system

A placement detection system includes: a placement table; an imaging device that images an object placed on the placement table to generate an input image; and a control device. The control device generates a first binarized image for the input image based on a first threshold value and determines whether the object is placed in a predetermined placement orientation. The control device changes a threshold value for a target pixel to a second threshold value higher than the first threshold value when the object is determined to be placed in the predetermined placement orientation, the target pixel being sandwiched between pixels having pixel levels lower than or equal to the first threshold value and has a higher pixel level than the first threshold value in a first region, generates a second binarized image for the target pixel based on the second threshold value, and detects a shape of the object.

Placement detection system

A placement detection system includes: a placement table; an imaging device that images an object placed on the placement table through the placement table to generate an input image; and a control device that receives the input image. The control device identifies a higher-level pixel having a pixel level higher than or equal to a predetermined pixel level in the input image, sets a threshold value of the higher-level pixel, and sets a threshold value of a target pixel other than the higher-level pixel to a lower value than the threshold value of the higher-level pixel in accordance with a distance between the higher-level pixel and the target pixel. The control device binarizes a pixel level of the target pixel in accordance with the threshold value of the target pixel to produce a binarized image and detects a shape of the object by using the binarized image.

An extraction unit determines whether, in a display area of a display unit in which content data obtained from an acquisition unit are displayed, there is a character area in which an area occupied by a character has a proportion greater than a predetermined value. Based on color information of the character in an area which is determined to be the character area by the extraction unit, a setting unit sets a target color temperature when the content data is displayed. A converter changes an original color temperature of the content data to the target color temperature, based on the target color temperature set by the setting unit.

Signal processing device and signal processing method

A camera unit that captures and generates a plurality of images of a subject and a setting unit that sets different image capturing positions of the camera unit are provided. The setting unit sets the different image capturing positions so that the distance between an n-th image capturing position and an n+1th image capturing position and the distance between an m-th image capturing position and an m+1th image capturing position among the different image capturing positions differ from each other, where n and m are different natural numbers.

A display device includes a display portion for displaying a video, a generator for generating a synchronization signal including a command signal synchronized with display of frame images of the video and a transmitter for transmitting the synchronization signal. The video viewing glasses include: a synchronizing signal receiver for receiving the external synchronizing signal; an optical filter section having a pair of optical filters for adjusting light amounts to be transmitted to left and right eyes of a viewer, respectively; and an optical filter controller for controlling the optical filter section in response to the external synchronizing signal.

An eyeglass device for assisting in viewing a video to be stereoscopically perceived includes an optical filter portion with left and right filters for adjusting light amount to be transmitted to left and right eyes, respectively and a controller for controlling adjustment operation of the light amount by the optical filter portion, wherein the controller switches a control mode of the optical filter portion between a first control mode of controlling the optical filter portion so that the adjustment operation becomes synchronized with display of a frame image of the video and a second control mode of controlling the optical filter so that that the adjustment operation becomes slower than a frame rate of the video to make a viewer perceive the adjustment operation which is asynchronous with the display of the frame image.

An image signal processing apparatus performs gradation control on respective pixels. Specifically, the image signal processing apparatus includes an image signal processing unit which controls light emission and non-light emission of respective subfields so as to provide a field having a level of brightness. Here, the field is a unit display period of the pixels and divided into the subfields which have different light emission periods and are arranged in a predetermined sequence. In the predetermined sequence, the subfields are arranged in a manner such that a subfield having the shortest light emission period among the subfields is in the first place, one of a subfield having the longest light emission period and a subfield having the second longest light emission period among the subfields is in the second place, and the other one is in the third place.

An image signal processing apparatus outputs, alternately on a-per frame basis, a first image to be displayed to one of left and right eyes of a viewer and a second image to be displayed to the other eye, and transmits, to a pair of image viewer glasses, a synchronizing signal for controlling timing of opening and closing of optical filters so as to allow the viewer to see the output frames through corresponding eyes. Specifically, the apparatus includes: a persistence amount detecting unit which detects a persistence amount indicating an effect of a first frame in the first image on a second frame in the second image and immediately following the first frame; and an optical-filter adaptive control unit which generates the synchronizing signal indicating timing of opening and closing of the optical filter corresponding to the second frame. The timing is changed based on the persistence amount detected.

A color conversion device generates color data in a second color gamut based on first converted color data and input color data, which are obtained from input color data in a first color gamut, and outputs the color data in the second color gamut. The color conversion device includes a first color mapping unit which generates the first converted color data by mapping the input color data into the second color gamut; a color mixing unit which generates color data by mixing the first converted color data and second converted color data at a ratio corresponding to the first color gamut and the second color gamut; and a color data output unit which outputs the color data.
