A display device includes a substrate, a plurality of pixels arrayed on the substrate, an inorganic light-emitting element provided to each of the pixels, an anode electrode electrically coupled to the inorganic light-emitting element, a transistor provided on a first surface of the substrate, and coupling wiring that couples the anode electrode and the transistor. The anode electrode protrudes from an inside to an outside of the inorganic light-emitting element in planar view from a normal direction of the substrate.

According to one embodiment, an optical device includes a first light-emitting element and a second light-emitting element, a light-shielding layer disposed to overlap a gap between the first light-emitting element and the second light-emitting element and including a first opening overlapping the first light-emitting element and a second opening overlapping the second light-emitting element, an overcoat layer covering the light-shielding layer, a first micro-lens disposed on the overcoat layer and overlapping the first opening and a second micro-lens disposed on the overcoat layer and overlapping the second opening, and an edge of each of the first micro-lens and the second micro-lens overlaps the light-shielding layer.

Optical device

A display device includes a substrate, a plurality of first light-emitting elements and a plurality of second light-emitting elements provided in a display region of the substrate, a first lens provided overlapping each of the first light-emitting elements and having a first diameter in planar view seen from a direction perpendicular to the substrate, and a second lens provided overlapping each of the second light-emitting elements and having a second diameter smaller than the first diameter in planar view seen from the direction perpendicular to the substrate.

A display device includes an array substrate, a plurality of mounting electrodes provided to the array substrate, a columnar conductor for coupling provided to each of the mounting electrodes, a plurality of light-emitting elements provided to the array substrate, a first electrode and a second electrode provided to a surface of each of the light-emitting elements facing the array substrate, the first electrode being coupled to one of an anode and a cathode of the light-emitting element, the second electrode being coupled to the other of the anode and the cathode of the light-emitting element, and a coupling member covering each of the first electrode and the second electrode. The columnar conductor is made of material harder than the coupling member, and an end of the columnar conductor on the light-emitting element side is electrically coupled to the coupling member.

Display device and method for manufacturing the same

A display device includes a substrate, a plurality of pixels provided to the substrate, and a plurality of first inorganic light emitting elements and a plurality of second inorganic light emitting elements provided to the pixels. The first inorganic light emitting elements are configured to output first light in a visible light region, and the second inorganic light emitting elements are configured to output second light in an infrared light region.

A display device includes a display area including a plurality of pixels, and a gradation control circuit configured to control a gradation of the pixel based on a gradation control mode. Each of the plurality of pixels includes first and second LED chips. One frame period of the gradation control mode includes a first to third subframe periods. In the first subframe period, the gradation of the pixel is controlled by a light emitting area of each of the first and second LED chips. In the second subframe period, the gradation of the pixel is controlled by a light emission time of each of the first and second LED chips. In the third subframe period, the gradation of the pixel is controlled by a current value supplied to each of the first and second LED chips.

A display device includes a first electrode, and LED chip on the first electrode, an insulating layer embeds the first electrode, contacts a side surface of the LED chip, and exposes an upper surface, a second electrode having translucency in contact with an upper surface of the insulating layer and the upper surface of the LED chip, and a first reflection control layer on an upper surface of the second electrode and having a first opening in an area overlapping with the LED chip. The first reflection control layer has a first surface on a side of the second electrode and a second surface on opposite to the first surface, and a reflectance of the first surface is higher than a reflectance of the second surface.

A display device including a substrate, a plurality of pixels, a plurality of inorganic light-emitting elements, a flattening film, and an inorganic film. The pixels are arrayed on the substrate and display different colors. The inorganic light-emitting elements are provided to the respective pixels. The flattening film surrounds at least a side surface of the inorganic light-emitting element. The inorganic film covers the flattening film and the inorganic light-emitting element. The upper surface of the inorganic light-emitting element is exposed from the flattening film and is in contact with the inorganic film. There are provided a display panel with a touch detector that allows the touch detection electrodes to be less visible, a touch panel, and an electronic unit having the display panel with a touch detector. The display panel with a touch detector includes: a display layer including a plurality of display elements arranged side by side; and an electrode layer alternately segmented into first regions and second regions along a first direction, the electrode layer including a plurality of first slits arranged side by side to extend in a second direction, and a plurality of second slits each allowing an adjacent pair of the plurality of first slits in the second regions to be in communication with one another.

Display panel with touch detector, touch panel, and electronic unit

According to one embodiment, a display device includes pixels each including transistors, pixel electrodes, a contact electrode, and light emitting elements, and an insulating basement, a first organic insulating layer, a second organic insulating layer, a resin layer, a common electrode, and first wiring lines. The common electrode is electrically connected to cathodes of the light emitting elements, and electrically connected to the contact electrodes of the pixels. The first wiring lines, each provided between the first organic insulating layer and the second organic insulating layer or between the second organic insulating layer and the resin layer, are electrically connected to the contact electrodes of the pixels, and are formed of a metal.

According to an aspect, a display apparatus includes: a substrate; a plurality of pixels arrayed on the substrate; a plurality of inorganic light-emitting elements that are provided in the pixels, respectively; a transistor provided to a first surface of the substrate and coupled to one of the inorganic light-emitting elements; wiring provided to the first surface of the substrate and coupled to the transistor; and a circular polarization plate provided on a first side of the substrate.

Display apparatus

A display device includes a substrate, a first light-emitting diode (LED) element and a second LED element provided to the substrate and configured to output light, a first signal line provided between the first LED element and the second LED element and electrically coupled to the first LED element, a second signal line provided between the first LED element and the second LED element and electrically coupled to the second LED element, gate wiring intersecting the first signal line and the second signal line, and anode wiring overlapping the gate wiring and electrically coupled to the first LED element and the second LED element. The anode wiring extends parallel to the gate wiring.

A display apparatus with a detecting device includes a substrate, a plurality of pixels provided to the substrate, an inorganic light emitting element provided to each of the pixels, a plurality of detection electrodes arranged in a first direction parallel to the substrate, and a plurality of drive electrodes arranged in a second direction intersecting the first direction and provided intersecting the detection electrodes in planar view seen from a direction perpendicular to the substrate. The detection electrodes each includes a plurality of first linear parts, a plurality of second linear parts extending in a direction intersecting the first linear parts, and a bent part that couples the first linear part and the second linear part, the first linear parts and the second linear parts are metal thin wires, and the drive electrodes are translucent electric conductors.

Display apparatus with detecting device

A display device includes a first planarization film including an opening, a reflective film provided on an inclined surface inside the opening in the first planarization film, an LED chip surrounded by the reflective film and provided inside the opening, and a second planarization film provided on the first planarization film, surrounding the LED chip, and filling the opening, wherein a height from an upper end of the inclined surface of the first planarization film to an interface with air in the second planarization film is 20 μm or less.

A display device includes a substrate, a plurality of pixels provided to the substrate, a plurality of mounting electrodes and a plurality of light-emitting elements provided to the pixels, a first region provided at a center part of a display region of the substrate, and a second region provided closer to an outer end of the substrate than the first region in the display region of the substrate. Number of the mounting electrodes included in each of the pixels in the first region is equal to number of the mounting electrodes included in each of the pixels in the second region, and number of the light-emitting elements included in each of the pixels in the first region is larger than number of the light-emitting elements included in each of the pixels in the second region.
