A monitor for displaying an image is disposed inside a front door of a car. The monitor is disposed at a position that does not overlap at least one of a front window and a front door window in a viewing direction of an occupant who sits in a front seat.

Provided is a container holder () comprising a body member () defining a recess () with a bottom, a roller () supported by the body member such that at least a part of the roller projects into the recess to engage a container () received in the recess, and a biasing member () for urging the roller into the recess, wherein the roller is supported by the body member in such a manner that a rotational center line (B) of the roller extends in a tangential direction of a circle centered around a central axial line (A) of the recess, and the roller is enabled to slide in a radial direction of the recess and to tilt around an axial line in parallel with the central axial line.

Container holder

A vehicle center console includes a small item receptacle closing a part of an opening of a console body and capable of storing therein small items, and an arm rest closing a remaining part of the opening of the console body and capable of placing thereon an elbow of a passenger. The small item receptacle and the arm rest are mounted adjacent to each other on the console body in such a manner that the small item receptacle and the arm rest are slidable in a front-rear direction of the vehicle. The vehicle center console has an opening mode for opening the opening of the console body by sliding the small item rearwardly so that both the small item and the arm rest are together slid rearwardly.

Vehicle center console

A glove box structure for a vehicle includes a storage portion and a lid portion. The lid portion is openably mounted on a instrument panel of the vehicle and includes an inner panel, honeycomb structure ribs, an intermediate panel, and an outer panel. The inner panel is disposed on a storage portion side. The honeycomb structure ribs integrally formed with the inner panel. Each of the honeycomb structure ribs is disposed on a first surface of the inner panel. The first surface is disposed on an opposite side of the inner panel to the storage portion. The intermediate panel is attached to at least one of the honeycomb structure ribs to increase a shock transfer capability of the inner panel. The outer panel is mounted on the inner panel. The intermediate panel is sandwiched between the outer panel and the honeycomb structure ribs.

Glove box structure for vehicle

A console box placed in a vehicle passenger compartment includes a console body for storing articles, a lid located on a top surface of the body, and a storage portion formed on a back surface of the lid for storing a small item. The storage portion is opened in response to opening of the lid, and is closed in response to closing of the lid. The lid has one end attached to the body through support shafts such that the lid pivots between open and closed positions. The storage portion has one end attached to the lid through support shafts such that the storage portion pivots between open and closed positions. The lid has a free end opposite the one end thereof and the storage portion has a free end opposite the one end thereof. The free ends face in the same direction.

Console box

A welding arrangement for plastic components includes a base member, a primary member abutting onto the base member and provided with a first positioning feature that engages a corresponding first positioning feature provided on the base member. A secondary member is vibration welded to the base member so as to at least partly interpose the primary member between the secondary member and base member. Because the welding is performed while the primary member is properly positioned relative to the base member on account of the first positioning feature cooperating with the corresponding first positioning feature, the positional precision of the primary member is ensured. The primary member may be additionally provided with a second positioning feature that engages a corresponding second positioning feature provided on the secondary member, so as to permit positional adjustment between them in a prescribed direction corresponding to a direction of movement of the vibration welding.

Welding arrangement for plastic components

A reinforcing element structure placed between left and right seats. A reinforcing element comprises a pair of left and right side walls positioned so as to be disposed opposite from interior faces of a pair of left and right seats, and a reinforcing member for coupling the pair of left and right side walls. The pair of left and right side walls and the reinforcing member are jointly fastened to a tunnel section. A load that acts on the reinforcing element is transferred from one of the side walls to the other side wall via the reinforcing member. The load is withstood by a highly rigid reinforcing element constituted by the left and right side walls and the reinforcing member.

Reinforcing element structure

This console box is provided with: a box main unit; and a locking mechanism, wherein the locking mechanism is provided with: a locking groove provided on one of the box main unit and the console lid; a locking pin provided on the other of the box main unit and the console lid, the locking pin being fit into the locking groove when the console lid is closed, and having a fitting portion dimension smaller than the groove width of the locking groove; and a biasing device provided between the box main unit and the console lid which biases the console lid in an opening direction by contacting between the locking pin and one of wall formed in the locking grove when the console lid is in a closed state.

A door unit for selectively opening and closing an opening in an object includes a door having a bendable slatted door body and a flexible sheet member positioned over the door body. Guide grooves in the object slidably guide at least the door body, and the respective ends of the door body and the sheet member are connected on one end in the sliding direction. By setting an appropriate spacing between the guide grooves, the generation of noise that would otherwise be caused by the door body and the sheet member rubbing against each other when they are opened or closed, is avoided. The use of the separate sheet member also significantly increases the options for the material to be employed for the design surface of the door unit.

Door unit

In a vibration welding structure for fixing an attachment to an instrument panel (), a first projection () resiliently deformable in a predetermined vibrating direction is provided on the instruction panel () so as to project from the instrument panel () toward an air conditioner duct (). First fitting groove portion () is formed in the air conditioner duct () for fitting engagement with a distal end portion () of the first projection (). Further, a first positioning mechanism () is provided between the instrument panel () and the air conditioner duct () for positioning the air conditioner ductin a direction perpendicular to the vibrating direction.

Vibration welding structure for fixing instrument panel attachment

In a vibration welding structure for fixing an attachment to an instrument panel (), a first projection () resiliently deformable in a predetermined vibrating direction is provided on the instruction panel () so as to project from the instrument panel () toward an air conditioner duct (). A first fitting groove portion () is formed in the air conditioner duct () for fitting engagement with a distal end portion () of the first projection (). Further, a first positioning mechanism () is provided between the instrument panel () and the air conditioner duct () for positioning the air conditioner ductin a direction perpendicular to the vibrating direction.

There are provided an artificial joint device that can realize an artificial limb enabling twisting motion without a drive source, and when with the drive source, reduce the size and costs of the device, and a parallel linkage that can realize the device. The linkage connects a foot portion and a mounting plate spaced from each other. A fixed link has one end fixed to the plate, and the other end connected to the foot portion via a ball joint, making the angle of the fixed link relative to the foot portion changeable in any direction. Expansible links extend between the foot portion and the plate in an expansible/contractible manner and each have opposite ends connected to the plate and the foot portion via respective upper and lower ball joints, making respective angles thereof relative to the foot portion and the plate changeable in any direction.

Parallel linkage and artificial joint device using the same

An instrument panel/component parts assembly includes an instrument panel ( ), a surface-mounted member, and a rear surface-mounted member.
