The present disclosure provides an IMS analyzer including an analysis chamber, an electron emitter, an ion detector, a first gas injector that injects a sample gas into the analysis chamber, a second gas injector that injects a drift gas into the analysis chamber, a third gas injector that injects a primary ion generating gas into the analysis chamber, and an outlet port, in which the first gas injector, the second gas injector, the third gas injector, and the outlet port are arranged such that the sample gas merges with the drift gas and the primary ion generating gas in a reaction area and is discharged through the outlet port, the ion detector is located on an upperstream side of the drift gas stream relative to the reaction area, and the electron emitter is located on an upperstream side of the primary ion generating gas stream relative to the reaction area.

IMS analyzer

An analysis device includes an electron emission element, a collector, an electric field former, a power source, and a controller. The electron emission element includes a bottom electrode, a surface electrode, and an intermediate layer arranged between the bottom electrode and the surface electrode. The power source and the controller allow application of a voltage between the bottom electrode and the surface electrode. The electric field former forms an electric field in an ion movement region where anions directly or indirectly generated by electrons emitted from the electron emission element move toward the collector. The collector and the controller allow measurement of a current waveform of an electric current made to flow by arrival of anions at the collector. The controller regulates, based on the current waveform, a voltage applied between the bottom electrode and the surface electrode.

Analysis device

A printing apparatus includes a hard disk, an image compressing device, an image decompressing device, and a printing engine. The printing apparatus divides image data into plural pieces of divided image data, classifies one or more pieces of the divided image data as compressible image data and classifies one or more other pieces of the divided image data as non-compressible image data. In storing the image data in a storage section, the printing apparatus causes the image compressing device to compress the compressible image data and writes the compressible image data thus compressed into the hard disk, and writes the non-compressible image data into the hard disk. Further, in causing the printing engine to perform printing, the printing apparatus reads out the non-compressible image data and the compressible image data thus compressed from the hard disk, transmits the non-compressible image data to the printing engine, causes the image decompressing device to decompress the compressible image data thus read, and transmits the compressible image data thus decompressed to the printing engine. This makes it possible to realize a printing speed higher than in a conventional technique, without increase in the cost and technical difficulties in packaging and controlling.

An object of the present invention is to provide a general-purpose data transfer apparatus which enhances the operation efficiency of a data processing apparatus without a large-scale increase of circuits and has the same interface with respect to respective channels. A data transfer apparatus which selects a specific channel from among a plurality of channels connected thereto and outputs data from a data processing apparatus, has a first path which transfers data to a channel via an output buffer, and a second path which transfers data to a channel without the output buffer intervention, the data transfer apparatus comprising a data selection circuit which connects these two paths to different channels, respectively; and a transfer control circuit which controls data transfer of the two paths.
