Novel platinum complexes represented by the formula: ##STR1## wherein A is alkylene having carbon atoms of from 1 to 3; R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are the same or different and are hydrogen or alkyl having carbon atoms of from 1 to 4; X and Y are independently a halogen atom, or combined together to form ##STR2## and l, m and n are independently 0 or 1, and a process for preparing the same are disclosed. These platinum complexes have high antitumor activity and low toxicity, and are easily soluble in water. Therefore, they are very useful as an antitumor agent.

N-heterocyclic platinum complexes

A high frequency electromagnetic field detector for detecting high frequency electromagnetic fields comprises a micro antenna for mainly receiving the induction term of the electromagnetic field, an amplifier for amplifying a voltage induced on the antenna, a comparator circuit for comparing the output of the amplifier with a predetermined reference level to output a signal indicating that the output exceeds the reference level, and an indicator in response to the signal from the comparator circuit for indicating it.

Transient electromagnetic field detector

A treating agent whose effective ingredient is an anthranyl derivative of the formula: ##STR1## (wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 may be the same or different and represent a hydrogen atom, a hydroxyl group, a lower alkoxy group, preferably C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 alkoxy group, a lower alkyl group, preferably C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 alkyl group, a nitro group or a halogen atom) is disclosed.

Benzamide derivatives of the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is a hydrogen atom, a methyl group or a methoxy group; R.sub.2 is a straight-chain or branched-chain alkyl group having 2 to 8 carbon atoms, a substituted phenyl group, or group --NHR.sub.4, R.sub.4 being a hydrogen atom, a straight-chain or branched-chain or cyclic alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, or a phenyl group that may have a substituent on the nucleus; R.sub.3 is a hydrogen atom or one or two alkyl groups having 1 to 4 carbon atoms and n is 0 or 1, a process for preparing these derivatives, and pharmaceutical compositions containing the same are provided. The compounds of the above formula have the action to reduce the blood glucose level and, therefore, are useful as medicines.

3-Substituted-ureido-N-pyridyl benzamides

Dibenzoxazepine derivatives of the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, n, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are as defined in the description, process for preparing the same, pharmaceutical composition containing the same and method of treating diseases in circulatory organs administering the composition to a patient are disclosed. The compounds of the formula have lipid lowering activity, lipid peroxide lowering activity, blood sugar lowering activity and activity to inhibit the aggregation of platelets, and hence are useful as a medicine.
