A vane pump includes: pump chambers formed by a rotor, a cam ring, and vanes; a first suction port that guides working fluid guided by a suction passage to the pump chambers; a second suction port that guides the working fluid guided from the suction passage through a communication passage to the pump chambers; and a return passage to which excessive fluid of the working fluid discharged from the pump chambers is guided. The return passage has: a body-internal passage through which the excessive fluid flows along an axis direction at an outer side of the cam ring in a radial direction; and a turning passage that reverses the excessive fluid guided through the body-internal passage towards the second suction port.

A cartridge vane pump includes: a side plate brought into contact with first end surfaces of the rotor and the cam ring; a cover brought into contact with second end surfaces of the rotor and the cam ring, the cover attached to the body; and an O-ring provided in an outer circumference of the side plate, the O-ring being configured to seal a gap between the outer circumference of the side plate and an inner circumference of the body. The side plate has: a first flange portion configured to restrict movement of the O-ring towards the rotor side; a second flange portion configured to restrict movement of the O-ring towards an opposite side from the rotor. The first flange portion is formed to be able to compress the O-ring with the body in an axial direction of the driving shaft.

A vane pump includes: a rotor; vanes freely slidably received in the rotor; a cam ring having a cam face with which the vanes come into sliding contact; a side member having a sliding contact surface with which side surfaces of the rotor and the vanes come into sliding contact; pump chambers; and a discharge port configured to guide working fluid discharged from the pump chambers. The side member has a guide surface that is provided on an end portion side of the opening portion, the guide surface being configured to push the end portions of the vanes upward and guide them toward the sliding contact surface of the side member as the rotor is rotated in the reverse rotation direction.

A cartridge vane pump includes a rotor, a plurality of vanes, a cam ring, a side member brought into contact with a first end surface of the cam ring, a cover member brought into contact with a second end surface of the cam ring, the cover member being attached to the body, and a linkage member provided to extend between the side member and the cover member over an outer circumferential surface of the cam ring, the linkage member being configured to link the side member and the cover member.

Cartridge vane pump and pump device

A vane pump includes a rotor; a plurality of vanes; a cam ring; and a pump body having an accommodating concave portion accommodating the cam ring. The cam ring includes a ring fitting portions formed in a plurality of regions on an outer circumference and a ring small-diameter portions formed on the outer circumference so as to have an outer diameter smaller than those of the ring fitting portions. The accommodating concave portion has a body fitting portion to which the ring fitting portions is fitted and a body large-diameter portions formed on the inner circumference in a plurality of regions so as to have an inner diameter lager than that of the body fitting portions.

The vane pump includes a rotor, a plurality of slits, vanes that are respectively received in the slits, a cam ring that has an inner circumferential cam face with which tip portions of the vanes are brought into sliding contact, pump chambers that are defined by the rotor, the cam ring, and the adjacent vanes, a side member that has a sliding contact surface with which the side surface of the rotor is brought into sliding contact, a discharge port that is formed so as to open to the side member, the discharge port being configured to guide working fluid discharged from the pump chamber, and a notch that are provided on the side member so as to extend from the opening of the discharge port in direction opposite to rotating direction of the rotor. The notch is formed radially outside of the protruded portion of the rotor.

A variable displacement vane pump includes: a rotor to be rotatively driven; a plurality of vanes slidably housed in the rotor; a cam ring allowed of eccentric with respect to a center of the rotor, the cam ring having an inner circumferential cam surface in sliding contact with a distal end portion of the vane; a pump chamber defined by the adjacent vanes, the rotor, and the cam ring; a suction port to guide hydraulic fluid to be suctioned to the pump chamber; and a discharge port to guide hydraulic fluid to be discharged from the pump chamber. An outer circumference of an opening portion of the suction port is formed so as to be positioned along the inner circumferential cam surface of the cam ring or at an outside of the inner circumferential cam surface regardless of eccentricity of the cam ring with respect to the rotor.

An electric oil pump includes an electric motor and an oil pump that is driven by the motive power from an electric motor, wherein; the oil pump has an introducing channel that guides a drain oil that has leaked from an interior of the oil pump to an interior of the electric motor; and the electric motor has a discharging channel that discharges the drain oil that has been guided to the interior of the electric motor to a tank.

A variable capacity type vane pump with a first fluid pressure chamber and a second fluid pressure chamber provided at opposite sides of a pivot point of a cam ring includes a control valve for controlling a drive pressure of working fluid introduced from a pump chamber to the second fluid pressure chamber, a suction pressure of the working fluid sucked into the pump chamber is constantly introduced to the first fluid pressure chamber, and the cam ring pivots in a direction to decrease a discharge capacity due to a pressure in the pump chamber acting on an inner peripheral cam surface during an operation to reduce the drive pressure, whereas the cam ring pivots in a direction to increase the discharge capacity during an operation to increase the drive pressure.

In a variable capacity vane pump in which a discharge capacity of a pump chamber is varied by varying an amount of eccentricity of a cam ring relative to a rotor, a port inner wall surface that extends around an inner peripheral cam surface of the cam ring when the cam ring moves in a direction for increasing the amount of eccentricity of the cam ring relative to the rotor is formed on an intake port.

A variable capacity vane pump () has a pump housing () having a high-load bearing part () on which a higher load is exerted than another part when the pump vane pump () operates. A control valve () for varying a capacity of the vane pump () is provided in a valve housing () which is formed integrally in the pump housing (). By arranging the valve housing () on the same side of the pump housing () as the high-load bearing part () with respect to the rotation axis of the vane pump (), the high-load bearing part () can be reinforced without increasing the size of the vane pump ().
