A divided electrode is on the first principal plane, and a uniform ground electrode is on the second principal plane and arranged opposite to the divided electrode on the first principal plane.

Touch panel and touch type input device

A walking shoe that senses a fall and urges a user of the shoe to perform movement for fall prevention. When the walker stumbles or almost falls, a microprocessor is activated, based on a sensing signal of a pressure-sensitive sensor that senses a pressure applied to a tread to detect a lifting velocity and/or a lifting amount of the foot based on a detection signal of an acceleration sensor, and when the lifting velocity and/or the lifting amount is lower than a reference value, the microprocessor actuates a stimulator that stimulates a bottom of the foot. At this time, since the user reflexively lifts the foot, the user can avoid stumbling.

A touch panel which includes a molecule oriented polylactic acid film, the polylactic acid film has a first principal plane and a second principal plane formed with electrodes, and the electrode on the first principal plane includes divided electrodes which are electrically divided into at least four sections. A touch panel input device having the touch panel is configured to have the respective divided electrodes connected to a processor which outputs position information and/or pressed information based on voltages detected independently from the divided electrodes.

A sensing apparatus that includes a polylactic acid film having a first surface and an opposing second surface. The polylactic acid film is molecularly oriented and thermally treated so as to have a shear piezoelectric property. An electrode arrangement is provided adjacent at least one of the first and second surfaces of the polylactic acid film, and is configured to detect a relative position of an input on the polylactic acid film and detect a pressure of the input toward the polylactic acid film.

A piezoelectric speaker that includes an electrode formed on opposing main surfaces of a piezoelectric sheet having a predetermined stretching axis and made of a chiral polymer. The electrode is divided into four electrode portions by a plurality of dividing lines extending in a radiation direction. The four electrode portions are distributed along the outer peripheral portion except for the central portion of a vibration region. Voltage is applied to the respective four electrode portions in such a manner that electric field vectors generated in the thickness direction of the piezoelectric sheet direct in opposite directions between the adjacent ones of four sheet portions of the piezoelectric sheet to which voltage is applied by the electrode portions.

In a sheet-type piezoelectric vibrator provided with a piezoelectric sheet made from a transparent organic polymer and electrodes formed on respective main surfaces that are opposite to each other of the piezoelectric sheet, an electrode material that is effectively used for making the vibrator colorless is provided. The first electrodes formed on one of the main surfaces of piezoelectric sheets are made of zinc oxide electrode layers, each mainly containing zinc oxide, and second electrodes formed on the other main surface of the piezoelectric sheets include polythiophene electrode layers made from a conductive polymer containing thiophene in a molecule structure thereof. Although the zinc oxide electrode layer is transparent, it is slightly yellowish, while, on the other hand, although the polythiophene electrode layer is also transparent, it is slightly bluish. Since the spectral characteristic of light transmitted through these two electrode layers is made substantially flat in the visible region, the coloring of the transmitted light is suppressed so that the layers appear colorless and transparent.

A ferrite sheet includes a ferrite sintered body capable of being in direct and sufficiently close contact with a signal cable and has good noise removal properties. The ferrite sheet includes a flexible sheet having a foldable portion, a plurality of ferrite sintered bodies located in a region other than the foldable portion on the flexible sheet, an elastic body arranged around the ferrite sintered bodies on the flexible sheet, and an adhesive layer arranged on the elastic body such that the elastic body is bonded to itself when the flexible sheet is bent along the foldable portion.

A dielectric resonator is constructed so as to have a substantially cruciform shape in cross section by including four plate components. A first set of opposed plate components have respective first principal center planes separated from each other and substantially parallel with each other. A second set of opposed plate components also have respective second principal center planes separated from each other and substantially parallel with each other. The first principal center planes are orthogonal to the second principal center planes. With this configuration, a TE01&#x3b4;y mode in which an electric-field vector rotates within the first set of opposed plate components and a TE01&#x3b4;z mode in which an electric-field vector rotates within the second set of opposed plate components are coupled.

In a dielectric resonator device, the outer shape of a support base is larger than the bottom surface of a dielectric core which is in contact with the support base, and the support base is fixed on the inner bottom surface of the cavity with support columns at the periphery of the support base. With this configuration, an air space can be provided between the inner bottom surface of the cavity and the support base. Accordingly, the resonant frequency of the TMz mode in which the electric field vector directs perpendicularly to the surface of the support base is increased so that it is considerably away from the resonant frequency of the TE01&#x3b4; multiple mode.

A coaxial capacitor is inserted in a coaxial cable in a predetermined position. A housing is provided as a ground conductor path in order to establish conduction between two external conductors in portions of the coaxial cable which are separated by the inserted coaxial capacitor. Inside the housing, a resonator formed by a dielectric coaxial resonator or the like, the coaxial capacitor, and a connecting conductor are accommodated.

Band eliminate filter and communication apparatus

A dielectric resonator device includes two dielectric resonators resonating in first and second resonant modes and a partitioning plate which partitions the two dielectric resonators. Slits S are provided in the partitioning plate. A magnetic loop of the first resonant mode (TE01&#x3b4;z mode) is directed along the length of the slits S. The partitioning plate is also provided with a conductor loop consisting of first and second conductor loop portions that are coupled to magnetic fields of the second resonant mode (TE01&#x3b4;y mode). Accordingly, the coupling of the second resonant mode between the two dielectric resonators can be suppressed by the coupling of a leakage of the magnetic fields passing through the slits S and the coupling of the magnetic fields by the provision of the conductor loop.

A dielectric filter, a composite dielectric filter, a dielectric duplexer, a dielectric diplexer, and a communication apparatus, in which isolation between adjacent dielectric filters can be obtained, and deterioration of filter characteristics can thereby be prevented. A plurality of dielectric resonators formed by disposing dielectric cores in cavities, and coupling loops for coupling to predetermined resonance modes of the dielectric resonators, are combined to form a dielectric filter. The dielectric resonators and the coupling loops are arranged in such a manner that when the dielectric resonators of the dielectric filters are close to each other, the directions of the coupling portions of the adjacent coupling loops are substantially vertical to each other.
