An acoustic device includes a detection unit configured to detect a timing to transition to each of a first power-saving mode and a second power-saving mode, a battery, a monitoring unit configured to monitor a remaining capacity of the battery, a signal processing unit configured to process a sound signal, a sound emitting unit configured to acoustically output the processed sound signal, a communication unit configured to transmit and receive a signal to and from a communication terminal and transmit the processed sound signal to the communication terminal, and a control unit configured to stop an operation of the signal processing unit based on the detection of the timing to transition to the first power-saving mode.

Acoustic apparatus and acoustic control method

An earphone includes a sound emitting unit that is connected to a replaceable earpiece inserted into an auricle of a user and having a plurality of sizes and emits a sweep signal reproduced by a terminal through the earpiece, a sensor configured to acquire, based on the sweep signal, parameters in three axial directions including an upper-lower direction, a front-rear direction, and a left-right direction of the user, a determination unit configured to determine whether a size of the earpiece is replaced or an insertion position of the earpiece in the auricle is adjusted based on an acquisition result of each of the parameters in the three axial directions, and a presentation unit configured to output a determination result of presence or absence of the replacement or the adjustment to the terminal.

Earphone and fit adjustment method

An acoustic apparatus includes a sound-emitting unit that acoustically outputs a sound signal, at least one sensor that periodically detects accelerations of the user in three directions including a front-rear direction, a left-right direction, and an upper-lower direction, a vibration sound peak detection unit detecting a peak of a vibration sound based on a movement of the user when detection values of the accelerations in the front-rear direction, the left-right direction, and the upper-lower direction satisfy a predetermined condition, and a signal processing unit that determines whether a time difference at which the peak of the vibration sound is detected is periodic. When it is determined that the time difference is periodic, the signal processing unit sets a gain of a cancellation signal to be suppressed from the sound signal acoustically output from the sound-emitting unit based on the peak of the vibration sound.

An audio processing device includes: a drive circuit; a signal processing circuit; a power supply circuit; a power storage; a switch that selectively switches connection of the drive circuit between the power storage and the power supply circuit; and a controller that causes the switch to connect the drive circuit and the power supply circuit when the drive circuit is to be in a first state, and causes the switch to connect the drive circuit and the power storage when the drive circuit enters a second state. The first state is a state where current consumption of the drive circuit is greater than or equal to a predetermined threshold. The second state is a state where the current consumption of the drive circuit is less than the predetermined threshold.

Electrodes and regions of top plate opposed to electrodes constitute switches that have capacitances varying when the regions of top plate are depressed from top plate toward electrodes. Depression detection circuit calculates the capacitance change amounts of switches indicating changes of the capacitances from a reference value. Depression detection circuit calculates the maximum value and sum of the capacitance change amounts of switches. When the capacitance change amount of at least one switch exceeds threshold and a situation in which the ratio of the maximum value to the sum is equal to or greater than threshold has lasted for the number of repetitions in, depression detection circuit determines that the switch having the maximum value of the capacitance change amount is in a depressed state.

A control device includes a first communication circuit, a microphone, and a first control circuit. The first control circuit: acquires background noise in the room through the microphone and calculates a signal level of the background noise; transmits, to a playback device, a first control signal directing playback of a first test signal through a loudspeaker; acquires the first test signal through the microphone and calculates a signal level of the acquired first test signal; estimates a signal level of a second test signal using the signal level of the first test signal as a reference; increases a set value of a sound volume of the second test signal when a signal level obtained by subtracting a predetermined value from the estimated signal level of the second test signal is less than or equal to the signal level of the background noise; transmits, to the playback device, a second control signal directing playback of the second test signal through the loudspeaker; acquires the second test signal through the microphone, calculates a frequency response of the room, and calculates a correction coefficient based on the calculated frequency response; and transmits a third control signal including the calculated correction coefficient to the playback device.
