An optical coherence tomography device includes: a light source; a light splitting sectionthat splits light source light into reference lightand measuring lightwith which a sampleis irradiated; an interfering sectionthat allows the measuring lightto interfere with the reference lightto generate interference light; a photodetectiong sectionthat measures interference light; a movable measuring headthat changes the irradiating position and/or direction, irradiated with the measuring light, by a motion of the measuring head; a mechanical quantity sensorthat measures the motion of the measuring head; and an operating sectionthat obtains information on the sample, based on the interference light measured by a photodetectiong sectionand the motion of the measuring headmeasured by the mechanical quantity sensor. Thus, an optical coherence tomography device capable of capturing an image at a high speed with a simple structure can be provided.

A dental optical coherence tomography apparatus for measuring tissue in a stomatognathic region of a living body or an artificial composition in the stomatognathic region as a measured object includes: a variable wavelength light source (); a light splitting portion () that splits light-source light emitted from the variable wavelength light source () into reference light () and measuring light (); an interference portion () that causes the measuring light () and the reference light () to interfere with each other, thereby generating interference light; a photodetection portion () that measures the interference light; and an arithmetic portion () that generates an image of a measured object () by Fourier transforming or inverse Fourier transforming the intensity of the interference light, whose wavelength changes with time, that has been detected by the photodetection portion for each of the wavelengths. The present invention aims to present an angular velocity sensor having a self diagnosis function. An angular velocity sensor of the present invention includes a driving part for stably vibrating a driving part of a sensor element having a driver part and a detector part for detecting an angular velocity and detection means for detecting the angular velocity of the sensor element and obtains a self diagnosis signal for a malfunction by detecting a mechanical coupling signal obtained at the detection means.

The present invention presents an angular velocity sensor having a self diagnosis function. An angular velocity sensor of the present invention includes a driving part for stably vibrating a driving part of a sensor element having a driver part and a detector part for detecting an angular velocity. The angular velocity sensor also includes a detection means for detecting the angular velocity of the sensor element. The invention provides an angular velocity sensor capable of obtaining vibration which is close to a linear-operation for a large amplitude input, and a high sensitivity at the same time. The sensor comprises a vibrator, which is made of a piezoelectric element having a perovskite crystal structure expressed as ABO , and 0.1-1.0 wt. % of MnO is added to this piezoelectric element.

An angular velocity sensor driving circuit includes a driving part for a vibrator, a vibration level detector, a coriolis force detector, a first amplifier for amplifying an output signal of the vibration level detector, a rectifying circuit, a variable gain amplifier, a voltage amplifier, a level judging circuit and switching means. The gain of the voltage amplifier or the gain of a variable gain amplifier is varied by a switching circuit which is controlled by the output signal of a level judging circuit which compares the output signal of the rectifying circuit and a reference voltage. By using the switching circuit rapid start up of the angular velocity sensor can be achieved.
