Drain structure of an electric connection box is provided that is capable of preventing penetration of water with simplicity. According to the drain structure of the electric connection box, since a pair of engaging leg portions of a waterproof lid is engaged in a peripheral part of a communication hole of the drain portion and a lid portion covers the upper part of the water discharging hole, the water that penetrates through to the inside of the electric connection box through the communication hole and water discharging hole of the drain portion can be dammed in use of lid portion of the waterproof lid and can be prevented from gushing into the electric connection box. As a result, since it is possible to prevent the terminal portion of a wire such as a wire harness or the like, which is arranged to run from moistening with the water, penetration of water can be surely prevented. Furthermore, since the waterproof lid is formed apart from the lower case or lower cover and is applicable to the conventional structure, the whole structure can be simple and gives freedom to design the electric connection box.

A digital single-lens reflex camera includes a first mirror for reflecting part of a light beam coming from a subject through a photographing optical system and transmitting the remaining light beam. The reflected light beam is used for detecting the focus state of an imaging light beam, and the transmitted light beam is used for performing live view display. For example, the first mirror can be configured as a movable mirror in the digital single-lens reflex camera. This enables continuous live view display using the transmitted light beam on condition that the movable mirror is down while detecting the focus state using the reflected light beam. In addition, phase-contrast AF can be adopted for detecting the focus state.

The metal-core-board reinforcing structure has a metal core board having a metal core and a resin plate having substantially the same extent as that of the metal core board and being fixedly attached to the metal core board substantially parallel to one side of the metal core board and spaced apart therefrom by a predetermined distance.

An electric connection box includes upper and lower cases which accommodate therein bus bars, an insulator for the bus bars, fuses, and first relays. A relay module mounted with second relays is accommodated in the upper and lower cases. The electric connection box includes the relay module, but is compact in size, light in weight, low-priced, and low in heat generation due to contact resistance.

A camera has a rangefinder device having an optical system constituted by a plurality of optical elements and a diopter adjustment mechanism capable of adjusting the observation diopter of the rangefinder device by operation by the user from outside the camera. In addition, there are provided an operating member that operates the diopter adjustment mechanism and an adjustment mechanism that effects adjustment such that the observation diopter of the rangefinder device is at a predetermined value when the operating member is in a prescribed position. By this means, a camera having a diopter adjustment mechanism whereby the relative positional relationship of the operating member and driven member can always be ensured such that the observation diopter gets equal to the predetermined observation diopter that is to be set when the operating member is arranged in the prescribed position. This can be realized by a straightforward construction.

In a camera having a camera body unit constituted by combining a plurality of units, the camera configuration is realized so as to allow to easily remove only a lens frame unit from the camera body unit before the other units (for example, a strobe unit, a finder unit, a film feed unit and the like) when the camera is disassembled to repair or replace the lens frame unit by constituting so that the lens frame unit having a photographing optical system can be mounted independently.

A camera of this invention incorporates a finder unit capable of changing its magnification corresponding to any one of plural zoom lens barrels (first, second lens barrels) each having different zoom range. When installing the finder unit, first, a positioning pin is inserted into a positioning hole in a rotary frame so as to hold the lens barrel in standard zoom condition. Then, a finder positioning pin is inserted into a cam gear positioning hole and main body positioning hole in finder cam shaft so as to hold a finder lens at a variable magnification position corresponding to the standard zoom condition. With that condition, a zoom driving gear arrangement is meshed with a driving gear portion and cam gear in a rotary frame so that the lens barrel and finder are assembled with each other. This camera realizes reduction of product development term and production cost.

A strobe camera with a strobe emission section movable between a first position in which strobe light can be emitted and a second position different from the first position. A strobe state detection unit outputs a first strobe state signal when the strobe emission section is in the first position, and a second strobe state signal when the strobe emission section is in the second position. A camera state detection unit outputs a first camera state signal when the camera is in a photographing-permitted state, and a second camera state signal when the camera is in a photographing-prohibited position. A control unit causes the camera to execute a warning operation when the camera state detection unit outputs the first camera state signal and the strobe state detection unit outputs the second strobe state signal, and causes the camera to stop execution of the warning operation and perform an exposure operation when the first strobe state signal is output instead of the second strobe stage signal.

The present invention provides a camera having a film feed mechanism comprising a microphone for sensing the surrounding noise around the camera, a noise level measuring portion for measuring the sensed noise (sound pressure), a noise level discriminator for comparing the measured noise level with a predetermined level to discriminate whether the measured noise level is higher or lower than the predetermined level, a feed mode change-over portion for changing the film feed speed to a silent mode or a normal film feed by selecting the normal film feed or the film feed whose generated noise level is low in response to the discriminated noise level, and a film feed mechanism for feeding a film in both winding and rewinding.
