A video camera apparatus provided with image capturing means, which includes: audio communication means for receiving an audio signal from a wireless microphone of a subject through short-range wireless data communication means; and recording means for recording image information of the subject captured by the image capturing means and an audio signal received by the audio communication means.

A surface mount antenna is configured by mounting on a board a dielectric material on which electrodes are provided, wherein an antenna element comprises the electrodes having a ground electrode and a feed electrode, and a ground mount pattern connected to the ground electrode of the electrode and a feed mount pattern connected to the feed electrode of the electrode are formed on the board with a predetermined distance in-between. A frequency is adjusted by changing impedance by varying a pattern width of a portion connecting a ground electrode of the electrodes and a GND pattern of a ground side of the board, and an impedance matching is performed by changing capacitance based on dielectric constant of the board by varying area of a surface of a feed pattern at a position where a feed electrode of the electrodes and a feed side of the board are in opposing relation.

In a video photographing apparatus having an infrared rays AV transmitting function, there are provided: exchanging unit for moving the infrared rays cutting filter serving as a component element of a camera portion to an outside of an optical path and, in place of it, for arranging the infrared rays transmitting material such that the optical path is equivalent to that of the infrared rays cutting filter onto the optical path; switching unit for switching an infrared rays emitting unit for infrared rays AV transmission to the turn-on in the non-modulating state; and sensitivity switching operating unit for making the exchanging unit and the switching unit operative in an interlocking manner.

An 8-mm video tape recorder receives a main audio signal which is transmitted as a monaural or stereophonic audio signal, and an auxiliary audio signal (SAP) which is selectively transmitted with the main audio signal, and records the main audio signal as first and second audio signals. A SAP demodulator determines whether the auxiliary audio signal is transmitted or not. When the auxiliary audio signal is transmitted as determined by the SAP demodulator and recording of the auxiliary audio signal is indicated through a terminal by the user, selector switches are shifted to supply the auxiliary audio signal to a frequency demodulator which records the auxiliary audio signal as the first audio signal on an 8-mm magnetic video tape. The 8-mm video tape recorder can record video signals accompanied by audio signals at all times.
