A polycarbonate-base light-diffusing resin composition contains: (A) 100 parts by mass of an aromatic polycarbonate resin; (B) 0.01 to 10 parts by mass of a light diffusing agent; (C) 0.05 to 5 parts by mass of a light resistant agent, the light resistant agent being one or more light resistant agent selected from a malonate-base compound, an oxalylanilide-base compound, a benzotriazole-base compound and an acrylic resin having a side chain of a benzotriazole-base skeleton; and 0.01 to 1 parts by mass of an ester compound of fatty acid and multivalent alcohol. By molding the composition by injection molding or the like, a light diffusing plate is obtained.

Provided is a light diffusing resin composition, which, when molded into a large-plane light diffusing plate, is free of yellowing due to thermal deterioration, and can exhibit good light diffusing property, and a light diffusing plate using the resin composition. The light diffusing resin composition includes 100 parts by mass of a polycarbonate resin containing a polycarbonate copolymer (A) having repeating structural units represented by formulae (I) and (II) and 0.01 to 10 parts by mass of a light diffusing agent (B).

A light reflecting sheet having high light reflectance and an excellent light shielding property and a molded product using the same are provided. The light reflecting sheet has a light reflecting layer that has voids inside thereof and formed from a thermoplastic resin composition provided on at least one side of a base material sheet formed from a polycarbonate resin composition containing a combination of (A) 90 to 50% by mass of a polycarbonate-based polymer and (B) 10 to 50% by mass of titanium oxide. The molded product is formed from the light-reflecting sheet.

The present invention provides: a polycarbonate light diffusing resin composition in which a first discoloration is a little, and particularly a photo-deterioration caused by a cold-cathode tube as a light source of liquid crystal displays is suppressed; and a light diffuser panel obtained by molding the same. The polycarbonate light diffusing resin composition comprises: (A) 100 parts by mass of an aromatic polycarbonate resin; (B) 0.01 to 10 parts by mass of a light diffusing agent; and (C) 0.05 to 5 parts by mass of a light-resisting agent having a maximum absorption wavelength at 290 to 330 nm in an ultraviolet light absorption spectrum and the light diffuser panel is a light diffuser panel having a thickness of 0.5 to 2 mm and obtained by molding the polycarbonate light diffusing resin composition.

The present invention provides a light-diffusive polycarbonate-based resin composition which includes (A) 100 parts by mass of an aromatic polycarbonate resin, (B) 0.01 to 10 parts by mass of a light-diffusing agent, and (C) 0.1 to 20 parts by mass of a styrene-(meth)acrylic ester copolymer, and a light-diffusing plate formed from the composition. The light-diffusive polycarbonate-based resin composition can be injection-molded to form a light-diffusing plate having satisfactory precision in thickness for use in comparatively large liquid crystal displays having a size larger than 20 inches.

The present invention provides a light diffusing polycarbonate resin composition including a polycarbonate resin containing a polycarbonate copolymer which comprises a repeating unit represented by the general formula (I) shown below and a repeating unit represented by the general formula (II) shown below, which has a content of the repeating units of the general formula (II) of 1 to 30% by mass and which has a viscosity value of 30 to 71, and (B) a light diffusing agent compounded therein in an amount of 0.01 to 10 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the polycarbonate resin. The light diffusing polycarbonate resin composition and a light diffusing plate thereof show improved fluidity during molding and have excellent heat resistance, dimensional stability, luminance and color tone.

The present invention provides a prism-integrated light-diffusing plate, characterized in that a prismatic portion formed of a plurality of prism-shaped protrusions is provided on at least one surface of a light-diffusing sheet which is formed of a transparent resin material containing a light-diffusing agent and which has a thickness of 0.5 to 3 mm and a total light transmittance of 60 to 95%. The prism-integrated light-diffusing plate serves as both a prism sheet and a light-diffusing plate, diffuses light uniformly, and increases the brightness of an illumination cover or a liquid crystal display backlight for a large screen.

A polycarbonate resin composition which has excellent flame retardancy, even when containing neither any phosphorus compound flame retardant nor any halogenated flame retardant, and which is highly reflective and has light-shutting properties and excellent thermal stability. The invention relates to a styrene resin material, especially a styrene-based resin composition having good high-speed castability and good spreadability and favorable to extrusion molding lines. Of the styrene-based resin material, the product of the melt index (MI, g/10 min) and the melt tension (MT, g) measured under a specific condition is at least 20. Concretely, for example, it is a styrene-based resin composition comprising (A) from 35 to 95% by weight of a styrenic polymer having a syndiotactic structure, (B) from 5 to 50% by weight of a specific polyethylenic resin, and (C) from 0 to 15% by weight (including 0) of a specific styrene-olefin copolymer.
