In a method of molding a tag pin assembly P having a plurality of tag pins p each including a head 1, a filament portion 2 and a transverse rod portion 3, and implanted on one connecting rod 5 via connecting portions 4, the method produces a tag pin assembly under a ultra-close contact state by allowing balanced pressures to act on thin wall surfaces between adjacent cavities by supplying a molten resin through a main runner portion 30 connected to an injection molding machine, one first sub-runner portion 31 and a U-shape branched second sub-runner portion 32 to cavities of four tag pins 4 for one second sub-runner portion 32 in a cascade system by halving the molten resin.

Method of producing tag pin assembly

In a coal-fired boiler, a heat recovery unit is located upstream of a dry electrostatic precipitator so as to reduce the temperature of exhaust gas flowing to the dry electrostatic precipitator and thus prevent reverse ionization in the electrostatic precipitator. The heat recovery unit located upstream of the dry electrostatic precipitator will in no way be corroded even if the concentration of dust is reduced in the dry electrostatic precipitator. A desulfurization unit does not require a cooling/dust removing section and eliminates the need for a wet electrostatic precipitator. The dry electrostatic precipitator includes a gas passage divided into a plurality of parallel passages and dampers operable to close the passages. This arrangement prevents dust from being dispersed as a result of hammering without charge.

A method for removing soot or the like adhered to heat transfer tubes of a heat-exchanger by providing a steel ball scatterer above the heat transfer tubes and intermittently scattering steel balls towards the heat transfer tubes, is improved. The improvements reside in that a steel ball scattering rate is set to a small initial rate at the commencement of the scattering operation and thereafter is increased either in a stepwise manner or continuously. Preferably, within a main body casing of the heat-exchanger, a plurality of steel ball collision preventing plates having their central portions extending convexly upwards are provided between the steel ball scatterer and the heat transfer tube group, in order to prevent fins of the heat transfer tubes from being damaged by steel balls falling from the steel ball scatterer and directly colliding against the fins.

A fastener comprising a female member having an opening, a male member which is engageable in the opening of the female member and a string member joining the female and male members, and a fastener assembly comprising a plurality of such fasteners joined together. The female and male members are molded from a thermoplastic synthetic resin, and fused to the string member. The fastener or fastener assembly is made by a method comprising placing a string through a female member forming mold and a male member forming mold, supplying a molten thermoplastic resin into the molds to form a female member and a male member, removing the molded female and male members from the molds, moving the string forward, repeating the molding of a plurality of female and male members, and if appropriate, cutting the string between the female member of one fastener and the male member of another.

There is disclosed a fastener applying apparatus for applying fasteners to articles by passing each fastener severed from a fastener assembly through a hollow needle. This fastener applying apparatus includes an alignment passage in which the fastener assembly is loaded, a guide slot formed at the uppermost end of the alignment passage, means for feeding the fastener to be placed at the uppermost end of the fastener assembly to the guide slot and a force rod adapted to forcibly introduce a cross bar section of the fastener into a cross bar section guide passage positioned on the axis of the hollow needle by advancing the fastener placed at the uppermost end of the fastener assembly in the guide slot.

Method and apparatus for manufacturing tag pin assemblies

Disclosed is a cluster type tag pin assembly having a multiplicity of tag pins adapted for use in securing price tags or the like to sold goods. The tag pin assembly includes a large number of tag pins each having a head portion, a cross bar and a filament portion through which the cross bar is connected to the head portion. Each side surface of the cross bar of each tag pin is formed at the central portion thereof with an expanded portion, and expanded portions of each adjacent cross bars are mutually joined.

Cluster type tag pin assembly

A fastener device is disclosed, which comprises an inserting part, a socket having an insertion aperture and an intermediate filament connecting the inserting part and the socket. The inserting part, which can be inserted into the socket from either of two insertion directions of the aperture, has at least one tongue, which has a suitable elasticity and can expand in radial directions relative to the axis of the inserting part under its condition free of any force application. The aperture of the socket has a face to engage and stop the socket, which is vertically provided relative to the axis of the aperture. In inserting the inserting part into the socket, the tongue undergoes contraction to facilitate its passage through the aperture, and when it has been completely passed through the aperture, the tongue restores its original condition and radially expands to abut against the engaging face of the aperture, preventing the inserting portion from being pulled out of the socket. This fastener device is formed from a synthetic resin in an integral structure.
