A wiper device for a vehicle disclosed is provided with a wiper motor, a wiper pivot connected to the wiper motor, and a pivot holder having a base portion attached to the vehicle body and a bearing hole pivotally supporting the wiper pivot in a rotatable manner. Here, the wiper pivot can rotate around the pivot axis thereof by using a drive force from the wiper motor and has a cutout portion, and the wiper pivot extends so as to project toward an outer side of the vehicle body. In such a structure, it is further structured such that a C ring engaged with the cutout portion of the wiper pivot is released from the cutout portion when a load equal to or more than a predetermined value acts on the wiper pivot. In this case, as a result, the wiper pivot is moved to an inner side of the vehicle body.

A wiper device for a vehicle disclosed is provided with a wiper motor, a wiper pivot connected to the wiper motor, and a pivot holder having a base portion attached to the vehicle body and a bearing portion connected to the base portion and pivotally supporting the wiper pivot in a rotatable manner. In this case, the wiper pivot can rotate around the pivot axis thereof by using a drive force from the wiper motor, and the wiper pivot extends so as to project toward an outer side of the vehicle body. Then, in the structure mentioned above, it is further constructed in such a manner that at least a part of the bearing portion is released from the vehicle body when a load equal to or more than a predetermined value acts on the wiper pivot so as to move the wiper pivot to the inner portion of the vehicle body.

A wiper device for a vehicle disclosed herein is provided with a wiper motor, a wiper pivot connected to the wiper motor, and a load absorption portion for absorbing a load by moving the wiper pivot to an inner side of a vehicle body when a load having a value equal to or more than a predetermined value acts on the wiper pivot. In this case, the wiper pivot can rotate around the pivot axis thereof by using a drive force from the wiper motor, and the wiper pivot extends so as to project toward an outer side of the vehicle body. In accordance with the structure mentioned above, when the load downward due to a collision or the like acts on the rear distal portion of the hood member corresponding to the engine hood, a deformation of the rear distal portion of the hood member toward the lower side is substantially made free by means of the wiper pivot.

A wiper device for a vehicle disclosed is provided with a wiper motor, a wiper pivot connected to the wiper motor, and a wiper frame in which the wiper pivot is arranged. In this case, the wiper pivot can rotate around the pivot axis thereof by using a drive force from the wiper motor, and the wiper pivot extends so as to project toward an outer side of the vehicle body. Further, the wiper frame has a bracket portion fixing the wiper frame to the vehicle body. Then, in the structure mentioned above, it is constructed in such a manner that the bracket portion of the wiper frame is released from the vehicle body so as to move the wiper pivot to an inner side of the vehicle body when a load equal to or more than a predetermined value acts on the wiper pivot.

A head lamp washing system is disclosed which comprises a solenoid valve having an inlet and first and second outlets, the solenoid valve operable in its first position where the inlet is connected only to the first outlet when energized and in its second position where the inlet is connected only to the second outlet when deenergized, first and second injectors each having at least one injection nozzle, the injection nozzle of the first injector connected to the first inlet, the injection nozzle of the second injector connected to the second inlet, a detergent cistern containing a liquid detergent, the cistern connected to the inlet of the solenoid valve, a pressurizer for pressurizing the liquid detergent supplied to the solenoid valve, and a control circuit for alternatively allowing and cutting off power to the solenoid valve on a periodic basis.
