A toothed belt includes: a back portion; at least one tension member embedded in the back portion; tooth portions arranged at a predetermined interval along a belt longitudinal direction on one surface of the back portion; and a tooth cloth covering a surface of the tooth portion and a part of the one surface of the back portion, in which the at least one tension member is a twisted cord including a high-strength glass fiber filament, a tooth pitch, a diameter of the at least one tension member, and a ratio of a thickness of the back portion to a thickness of the toothed belt are in a specific range, the tooth portion is constituted of a rubber composition, a hardness of the rubber composition at 23° C. is 73° or more and 83° or less, and the tooth portion has a specific shape.

Toothed belt and belt transmission mechanism

The present invention relates to a helical toothed belt including: a back portion; a tension member buried in the back portion; and a plurality of tooth portions arranged at a predetermined interval along a belt longitudinal direction on one surface of the back portion, in which the plurality of tooth portions have a tooth pitch of 1.5 mm or more and less than 2.0 mm, the back portion has a thickness of 0.4 mm or more and 1.2 mm or less, the tension member is formed of a twisted cord containing a high-strength glass fiber or a carbon fiber, and the ratio of the total value of an interval between the tension members adjacent to each other to the belt width is 20% or more and 60% or less.

Helical tooth belt and belt transmission

A toothed belt power-transmission apparatus includes: a toothed belt which includes a cord and a plurality of belt tooth portions; and a plurality of toothed pulleys which include a plurality of pulley tooth portions. The cord includes a carbon fiber cord formed by combining and secondarily twisting a plurality of primary twisted yarns including a carbon fiber. A twisting direction of a primary twist of the primary twisted yarns is the same as a twisting direction of the secondary twist. A primary twisting coefficient of the primary twist is 0.62 to 1.30. A secondary twisting coefficient of the secondary twist is 2.06 to 3.95. A tooth pitch of the toothed belt is within a range of −0.4% to +0.1% relative to a tooth pitch of the toothed pulley around which the toothed belt is wound.

Toothed belt transmission device

This helically toothed belt power transmitting device () has: a toothed belt () having a plurality of teeth () tilted relative to the width direction of the belt; a drive pulley; and a driven pulley. The width of the helically toothed belt () is 1 mm to 20 mm, inclusive. The core () of the toothed belt () is a twisted cord containing high-strength glass fibers or carbon fibers and has a diameter of 0.2 mm to 0.9 mm, inclusive. The compressibility of the teeth () of the toothed belt () compressed by the grooves of the drive pulley and the driven pulley is 0% to 5%, inclusive.

A toothed belt includes a plurality of tooth parts that are disposed at predetermined intervals along the longitudinal direction and contain a rubber composition (A) as a base material and a back side that has a cord embedded therein and contains a rubber composition (B) as a base material, in which the cord contains a Lang-twisted carbon fiber and is formed in a diameter of 1.1 mm or more and 2.5 mm or less and the rubber composition (B) constituting the back side has a hardness of from 80 degrees to 89 degrees in JIS-A hardness.

Toothed belt

A power transmission belt having a body with a length, a width between laterally spaced sides, and a thickness between inside and outside surfaces. At least one load carrying member extends in a lengthwise direction. The body has a plurality of teeth spaced along at least one of the inside and outside of the body. The teeth have a width that decreases progressively from: a) a first location between the inside and outside surfaces; and b) one of the inside and outside surfaces so that the one surface has a width that is less than a width of the other surfaces. A cloth layer is applied to the one surface and is a multiwoven structure with interwoven: a) warp; and b) at least two different wefts.

A power transmission belt has a body with a length, a width, an inside and an outside. The body has at least one load carrying member embedded in rubber and extending in a lengthwise direction. The body defines a plurality of teeth spaced along the length of the belt on at least one of the inside and outside of the body. At least one of: (a) the at least one load carrying member has an occupying rate (R) that is not less than 75%, with R=n&#xd7;Dc/B&#xd7;100 where: n=number of load carrying members aligned along the width of the body; Dc=diameter of load carrying member(s); and B=width of the body; and (b) the at least one load carrying member has a cross-sectional area taken transversely to the length of the body that is in a range of 1.10 to 1.70 mmper 1 mm of belt width.

A power transmission belt having a body with a length, an inside, and an outside. The body has a plurality of teeth formed on the inside of the body and spaced along the length of the body. The body has a first surface at the inside of the body defined at least in part by the teeth. A cloth component has a first side attached to the first surface and a second side exposed to engage a cooperating pulley. The cloth component has first fibers at the first side of the cloth component with a first performance characteristic and second fibers at the second side of the cloth component with a second performance characteristic. The first side of the cloth component has different properties than the second side of the cloth component by reason of the presence of the first and second fibers.

A power transmission belt having a body with a length, an inside and an outside. Teeth are spaced along the length of the body. The body is made of rubber in which at least one load carrying member is embedded. The load carrying member extends lengthwise of the body. The rubber in the body is made up of: a) 3 to 7 parts by mass of short fiber blended relative to 100 parts by mass of a polymer that is a hydrogenated nitrile rubber having unsaturated carboxylic acid metal salt formed by mixing the hydrogenated nitrile rubber and the unsaturated carboxylic acid metal salt at a mass ratio of from 100:100 to 100:180; and b) no more than 10 parts by mass of a powdery inorganic filler blended relative to 100 parts by mass of the polymer.
