A planar optical waveguide part that includes an optical waveguide, a planar conductive wire part that includes a conductive wire, and a connecting end part formed on the lengthwise direction end part, wherein the connecting end part is provided with an optical waveguide end part formed on the lengthwise direction end part of the conductive wire part, a conductive end part formed on the lengthwise direction end part of the conductive wire part, and an intermediate plate intervening between the optical waveguide end part and the conductive end part; the optical waveguide end part, conductive end part, and intermediate plate are bonded by layering; and a bonding pad where components are bonded is formed by ultrasonic bonding to the top surface of the conductive end part.

Composite cable

The coaxial connector of the Present Disclosure includes a tube-shaped outer conductor, an insulating portion and an inner conductor. The insulating portion has a first fixed portion, a first elastic portion positioned on one side of the first fixed portion, and a second elastic portion. The inner conductor has a second fixed portion, a first holding portion positioned on one side of the second fixed portion, and a second holding portion positioned on the other side of the second fixed portion. The first elastic portion biases the outer peripheral surface of the first holding portion towards the outer peripheral surface of the inner conductor of the other coaxial connector. The second elastic portion biasing the outer peripheral surface of the second holding portion towards the outer peripheral surface of the inner conductor of the other coaxial connector.

Coaxial connector

The coaxial connector includes a tube-shaped outer conductor and an inner conductor provided inside the outer conductor in a plan view. The outer conductor includes an engaging portion recessed towards the inner conductor, a first portion positioned closer to one end of the outer conductor relative to the engaging portion, and a second portion positioned closer to the other end of the outer conductor relative to the engaging portion. The outer peripheral surface of the engaging portion is positioned closer to the inner conductor than to the outer peripheral surface of the first portion and the outer peripheral surface of the second portion, and the inner peripheral surface of the engaging portion is closer to the inner conductor than to either the inner peripheral surface of the first portion or the inner peripheral surface of the second portion.

A connector assembly utilizes improved capacitive coupling for connecting together electrical circuits on two substrates (). The connector assembly includes first () and second () connectors respectively attached to first and second circuit substrates. The first connector includes a plurality of first conductors () connected to circuits () on the first circuit substrate and these conductors have exposed contact surfaces with a dielectric material () disposed thereon. The first conductors and associated dielectric material confront second, opposing conductors () supported by the second connector frame when the connector frames are engaged together. A liquid dielectric material () is interposed between the terminals and the dielectric portions that fills minute gaps which may occur in the dielectric portions to improve the capacitive coupling ability of the connector assembly.

Capacitively coupled connector using liquid dielectric for improved performance

The sheet-like connector comprises a plurality of conductive members formed on one side of sheet. Each of the conductive members comprises elastically deformable spring member wherein edge thereof moves in the thickness direction of sheet, middle member which is formed on edge of spring member, and contacting protrusion which is formed on middle member and which protrudes in the thickness direction of sheet. Middle member and contacting protrusion are formed with materials which are mutually different and thus enable selective etching.

Sheet-like connector and manufacturing method thereof

A connector assembly utilizes capacitive coupling for connecting two substrates. The connector assembly includes first and second connector frames which may be respectively attached to first and second substrates. The first connector frame includes a plurality of first conductors connected to circuits on the first circuit substrate and these conductors have exposed contact surfaces with a dielectric material disposed thereon. The first conductors and associated dielectric material confront second, opposing conductors supported by the second connector frame when the connector frames are engaged together. The first connector frame has a recess formed therein so that its conductors and dielectric material are arranged at a level beneath the top surface of the first connector frame. This recess defines a reservoir and a liquid dielectric material is interposed between the terminals and the dielectric portions in the reservoir, which prevents the liquid dielectric from flowing off the first conductors and dielectric material.

A connector according to the present invention is equipped with an elastic member with elasticity, at least one terminal including a connecting conductor portion formed on one side of the elastic member and connected to a circuit side conductor portion electrically continuous with a circuit provided on a first flat circuit substrate, a first opposing conductor portion formed on another side of the elastic member and opposed to a second opposing conductor portion electrically continuous with a circuit provided on a second flat circuit substrate, and a linking conductor portion linking the connecting conductor portion and the first opposing conductor portion with each other so as to allow them to make relative movement, and a dielectric portion formed at least on one of the first opposing conductor portionand the second opposing conductor portion.
