An in-vehicle battery management device includes a controller configured or programmed to control a charge/discharge device such that the charge/discharge device performs charge or discharge on an in-vehicle battery of an electric vehicle in a predetermined processing condition, the in-vehicle battery being connected to the charge/discharge device. The controller includes a calculator configured or programmed to calculate a degree of deterioration progress of the in-vehicle battery based on charge/discharge information in the charge or discharge; and a communicator configured or programmed to notify a predetermined notification target of the calculated degree of deterioration progress.

Electric power adjusting device

A charging and discharging control device disclosed herein controls a charging and discharging device that charges and discharges an on-vehicle battery mounted on an electric vehicle. The charging and discharging control device includes a detection controller configured or programmed to detect that the electric vehicle has been connected to the charging and discharging device, an SOC acquisition controller configured or programmed to acquire an SOC of the on-vehicle battery, a use information acquisition controller configured or programmed to acquire a next use time and a next travel distance of the electric vehicle, and a setting controller configured or programmed to set a charging and discharging schedule of the on-vehicle battery such that the on-vehicle battery is charged after having been maintained in a low SOC and a necessary SOC for the next use time and the next travel distance remains.

Charging and discharging control device

A first voltage detection circuit is connected by first voltage detection lines to each node in a plurality of cells connected in series and detects the voltage of each of the plurality of cells. A second voltage detection circuit is connected, by second voltage detection lines, to each node in the plurality of cells and detects the voltage of each of the plurality of cells. First capacitance elements are each connected between two first voltage detection lines connected to each cell. Second capacitance elements are each connected between two second voltage detection lines connected to each cell. A first charge drawing circuit draws charge from each node in the plurality of cells, via each first voltage detection line. A second charge drawing circuit draws charge from each node in the plurality of cells, via each second voltage detection line.

Management device and power supply device

A fuse (F) is inserted into the path in which the plurality of power storage modules ()-() are serially connected, the fuse being inserted at a position dividing the plurality of power storage modules ()-() into a first group and a second group. A positive-pole-side contactor (RY) is inserted at a position dividing the plurality of power storage modules belonging to the first group into a first sub-group and a second sub-group. A negative-pole-side contactor (RY) is inserted at a position dividing the plurality of power storage modules belonging to the second group into a first sub-group and a second sub-group.

Power supply system

An electrical current detection device is provided with a shunt resistor that includes a first conducting part, a second conducting part, a center conducting part disposed between the first conducting part and the second conducting part, a first resistor disposed between the first conducting part and the center conducting part, and a second resistor disposed between the second conducting part and the center conducting part, the second resistor having a greater resistance value than the first resistor. The electrical current detection device is further provided with: a signal output unit; an estimation unit that estimates a first estimated current value from the first detection signal, and estimates a second estimated current value from the second detection signal; and an determination unit that compares the first estimated current value and the second estimated current value, and determines the abnormality of the shunt resistor.

Electrical current detection device equipped with shunt resistor, and power supply device

The power source apparatus is provided with a shunt resistor connected in series with batteries, and a current computation circuit that detects the voltage induced by current flow through the shunt resistor to compute battery current. The shunt resistor is provided with a pair of current flow terminals at two separated points on a metal plate connected in series with the batteries via connecting leads, and a pair of voltage detection terminals on a side of the metal plate between the pair of current flow terminals. Further, the shunt resistor has interval adjustment structures to adjust the distance (L) between attachment points where the connecting leads attach to the pair of current flow terminals. The distance (L) between lead attachment points is adjusted with the interval adjustment structures to finely adjust the voltage induced at the voltage detection terminals due to current flow between the two attachment points.

Power source apparatus

A power supply device includes a battery, positive and negative-side contactors and a controller. The battery supplies power to a load. The positive-side contactor is serially connected to the positive side of the battery, and the negative-side contactor is serially connected to the negative side of the battery. The controller determines whether the load connected to the output sides of the positive-side contactor and the negative-side contactor is in a connected or non-contact state. The controller includes a voltage detecting circuit that detects the capacitor voltage of a capacitor connected to the output sides of the positive-side contactor and the negative-side contactor, and a determination circuit that compares the detected voltage with a predetermined voltage and determines the connected state of the load.

The battery system has a current detection circuit, an amplifier, and a detection circuitthat detects the current flowing through batteriesfrom amplifieroutput. The current detection circuitis provided with a voltage source circuitthat supplies a test voltage to the input-side of the amplifier. Current detection linesconnect the current detection resistorto the input-side of the amplifier, and the detection circuitstores a reference voltage corresponding to the current detection linesin the connected state. When the voltage source circuitsupplies the test voltage to the input-side of the amplifier, the detection circuitcompares the amplifieroutput voltage with the reference voltage. The detection circuitdetects an open-circuit in the current detection linesby the shift in voltage from the reference voltage.

Car power source apparatus for detecting a ground fault in a vehicle power supply

An electric power source for a motor vehicle is equipped with a welded state discriminator, and while a positive-side contactor and negative-side contactor are controlled to be switched off, the welded state discriminator detects a voltage of a positive-side contactor or negative-side contactor on its loading side with respect to a connecting point of a battery unit on a positive side and a battery unit on a negative side. Accordingly, when in a plus voltage where the detected voltage thus obtained is larger than a predetermined voltage, the positive-side contactor is judged to be in a welded state, and when in a minus voltage where the detected voltage is larger than the predetermined voltage, the negative-side contactor is judged to be in a welded state.

Electric power source for motor vehicle

A current detection apparatus includes a current detection section that detects charging current and discharging current of the car driving battery, a level-shift circuit connected to the output-side of the current detection section that shifts the output of the current detection section, and an A/D converter connected to the output-side of the level-shift circuit. The level-shift circuit shifts the current detection section output signal to unbalance the maximum discharging current and maximum charging current that can be detected.

Current detection apparatus for a car power source

An electric power source for a motor vehicle is so constructed and arranged that an interlock circuit detects a disconnected state of an interlock wire and turns off a contactor. The interlock circuit includes: a current output circuit outputting a detectable current via a diode to the interlock wire; a first current detection subcircuit connected via the interlock wire and the diode to the current output circuit; a second current detection subcircuit connected to a connection point operatively located between the current output circuit and the diode; and a judgment circuit. In the interlock circuit, when the detectable current is detected at the second current detection subcircuit and when the detectable current is not detected at the first current detection subcircuit, the judgment circuit judges the interlock wire to be in a disconnected state and cuts off the contactor.

A power source device comprises a cell unit comprising a plurality of cells . Connected between a positive side terminal and a negative side terminal of the cell unit is a first current line having two voltage dividing resistors interposed therebetween, and is a second current line having two protection resistors and two detection resistors interposed therebetween. An intermediate point of the second line is grounded to a grounding via an insulation resistor . The voltage difference between a voltage (V , V ) detected by the detection resistors and a reference voltage (Vc) obtained from a point of connection between the voltage dividing resistors is input to two Op-Amps serving as the input voltage (V IN, V IN). Based on the output voltage (V OUT, V OUT) obtained from the Op-Amps , leakage occurrence is detected.
