An operating device includes a push operation mechanism including an operating portion to be push-operated, a tactile presenting means that drives the operating portion, a detecting portion for detecting movement of the operating portion, and a drive control unit that drives the driving portion by a drive control signal and a main vibration pulse signal output after outputting the drive control signal, the drive control signal being generated based on a start pulse signal and a pre-vibration pulse signal. The drive control unit sets a mask time to invalidate a detection signal of the detecting portion in a certain period when the drive control signal is output and switches from the output of the drive control signal to the output of the main vibration pulse signal based on a detection signal of the detecting portion after an elapse of the mask time.

Operating device

A vehicle wiper controller includes a wiper drive circuit which drives a wiper. An operation switch is manipulated in a plurality of manipulation directions or to a plurality of operation mode positions when a manipulation force is applied thereto. A wiper operation control unit electronically controls the operation of the wiper and sets the wiper to an operation mode corresponding to the manipulation of the operation switch. A control signal hold circuit, discrete from the wiper operation control unit, transmits a control signal to the wiper drive circuit when the operation switch is manipulated in a predetermined first manipulation direction or when the operation switch is manipulated to a predetermined first operation mode position. The control signal hold circuit sets a hold state for holding the transmission state of the control signal.

The control circuit includes a power supply line (), which provides locking current to the motor for locking the steering wheel. Electronic vehicle theft preventive device

A start control apparatus has a steering lock mechanism, which includes a lock pin and a lock control unit. The lock pin is selectively engaged and disengaged from the steering shaft. The lock control unit controls the lock pin. The start control apparatus further includes a portable communication device, a verification control unit, which communicates with the portable communication device, a power source control unit, which control power supply, an engine control unit, which controls the engine, a lock state detecting switch, which detects an engaged state and a disengaged state of the lock pin. The lock control unit and the power source control unit monitor detection signals from the lock state detecting switch. The engine is permitted to be started on condition that the control units acknowledge that the lock bar is in the disengaged state.

An electronic automobile anti-theft apparatus having high reliability includes a motor, which moves a lock pin to lock a steering shaft of an automobile. A solenoid maintains the lock pin in a state released from the steering shaft and operates to permit the lock pin to lock the steering shaft by receiving power. A mechanical switch stops supplying the solenoid with power to prevent unintentional locking by the lock pin when the automobile is being driven or when driving of the automobile is enabled.

An engine starting controller for a vehicle provided with a smart ignition function. The controller communicates with a portable communicator including an emergency key. When the battery of the portable communicator is drained, the emergency key is used to open the door lock and start the engine. A seat for depositing the emergency key is provided in the passenger compartment. The starting of the engine is enabled when the emergency key is deposited on the seat. The seat is illuminated or moved to notify the driver where to deposit the key.

The anti-theft device includes a lock pin for engaging and disengaging at least one of a movable member of a steering mechanism and a movable member of a driving mechanism in an automobile. An actuator drives the lock pin. A control unit is connected to the actuator to control the actuator. A power supply line connects the control unit to a power supply. A power supply switch is connected to the power supply line to supply the control unit with power. The power supply switch disconnects the power supply line when the automobile is being driven or when the automobile is allowed to be driven.
