Provided is an electrical junction box which prevents a bonder cap from falling out of a bonder cap accommodating part without using a bundling tie. The electrical junction box includes a frame having a bonder cap accommodating part and a terminal-attached wire accommodating part, and a cover. An edge forming an insertion port of the bonder cap accommodating part includes a low pro file portion with the same height as that of an edge of the terminal-attached wire accommodating part and a projecting portion projecting beyond the low profile portion. In a state where the cover is attached to the frame, a distance between the low profile portion and the cover is longer than the full length of the bonder cap, and a distance between the most projected portion of the projecting portion and the cover is shorter than the full length of the bonder cap. The wire bundle outside the bonder cap accommodating part is bent toward the low profile portion.

Electrical junction box

The invention provides a bus bar, which includes an elongated base plate, a plurality of tuning fork-shaped terminal portions and a plurality of plate-shaped terminal portions both extending from one lateral end of the elongated base plate, a terminal-protecting portions being perpendicular to the elongated base plate and extending from both longitudinal ends of the elongated base plate, and an electric wire-crimping portion extending from the other lateral end of the elongated base plate.

Bus bar

An electrical junction box includes a frame, a bus bar and a relay to be mounted to the frame, a junction terminal interconnecting a plate-like terminal portion of the bus bar and a plate-like terminal portion of the relay. The junction terminal includes a tubular portion having a pair of opposing walls and a spring portion arranged in the tubular portion such that the plate-like terminal portion of the bus bar inserted into the tubular portion from one side is sandwiched between the spring portion and one opposing wall and the plate-like terminal portion of the electronic component inserted into the tubular portion from the other side is sandwiched between the spring portion and the other opposing wall. The frame includes a receiving portion allowing the junction terminal to enter only when it is in correct position and an engagement portion holding the junction terminal inserted into the receiving portion.

An electrical junction box includes: a case main body provided with a wire receiver for receiving an end of an electric wire at a lower surface side; and a lower cover for covering the lower surface. Further, the electric wire is routed in between the lower surface of the case main body and the lower cover, and guided out from a wire outlet composed of a notch and a projecting piece. A biting prevention piece is projected from an edge of the lower cover toward the lower surface. A receiving groove for receiving the biting prevention piece is provided on an inside of a peripheral wall of the case main body. After the tip of the biting prevention piece pushing aside the electric wires to an inside of the case main body is inserted into the receiving groove, the lower cover is attached to the case main body.

Disclosed is an electric junction box capable of preventing an electric wire from entering into a second housing and contacting with an electric wire crimped part, and of allowing a bus bar smoothly to insert into a frame. The electric wire includes a frame and a bus bar. The bus bar includes a plate part, a plurality of terminals projecting in parallel with each other from one end of the plate, and an electric wire crimped part projecting from the other end of the plate. The frame includes a first housing accommodating the plate part and the plurality of terminals, and a second housing projecting from an end of the first housing and accommodating the electric wire crimped part. A tubular peripheral wall composing the second housing includes a slit passing the bus bar therethrough upon the bus bar being inserted into the frame.

Electric junction box

There is provided a downsized electrical connection box in which the reliability of the mechanical connection between blocks provided in the electrical connection box is improved. The electrical connection boxincludes a plurality of electric components, a first blockmounted with the electric components and a second block mounted with the electric components. Electrical connection box

A container box includes an outer box for receiving an inner box therein. Ribs are formed on an inner surface of the outer box, and extend in a fitting direction, and are gradually changing in height so that molds can be easily removed after the molding. The ribs includes the normally-inclined ribs gradually increasing in height in the fitting direction of the inner box, and the reversely-inclined ribs gradually decreasing in height in the fitting direction of the inner box.

An electric junction box has a binding band fitting hole, and two through holes through which a binding band for securing wire harnesses which are arranged along a lower face of a bottom wall of the binding band fitting hole are provided on the bottom wall so as to be positioned at both sides of the wire harnesses. When the wire harnesses are secured, a tip end of the binding band is inserted into one of the two through holes from a lower side of the bottom wall, the tip end of the binding band which has been exposed to an upper side of the bottom wall is U-turned in a downward direction to be inserted into the other of the two through holes, and then, the tip end of the binding band which has been exposed to the lower side of the bottom wall is locked to a lock part provided at a base end of the binding band, thereby to secure the wire harnesses to the lower face of the bottom wall. An upper face of a part of the bottom wall between the two through holes is formed as an arc-shaped wall which is curved upward in a convex shape, whereby a convex arc-shaped face and a concave arc-shaped face are formed on upper and lower faces of the bottom wall between the two through holes.

In a wire harness installation structure, a main wire Wof a wire harness WH is installed in such a manner that it is fixed to a vehicle body panel, and an electric connection boxis connected to a branch wire Wbranching off from the main wire Wof the wire harness WH, and the electric connection boxis mounted in a predetermined receiving position within a vehicle body. The branch wire Wis installed along a bottom surfaceof the electric connection box, and is connected at its distal end S to a portion of the bottom surfaceof the electric connection boxwhich is spaced a distance, larger than the shortest distance between a branching position P of the branch wire Wand the electric connection box, from the branching position P.

Wire harness installation structure

A structure for fixing an electrical junction assembly on a corner portion defined by a first attaching surface and a second attaching surface perpendicular to the first attaching surface, the fixing structure comprises an electrical junction assembly body including a wire harness drawn out from a first side face thereof, the first side face opposing to the first attaching surface, a first bracket including a first fastening portion parallel to the first side face and a through hole formed in the first fastening portion, into which a first bolt vertically provided on the first attaching surface is inserted, a second bracket including a second fastening portion parallel to a second side face opposing to the second attaching surface, and an elongated through hole formed in the second fastening portion and extending toward the first side wall, into which a second bolt vertically provided on the second attaching surface is inserted, and a thin breakable member provided on a face of the second fastening portion which is the other side of a face to be abutted against the second attaching surface for closing a part of the elongated through hole near the first side face.

Fixing structure for electrical connection assembly

An electrical junction box comprising a case having a rib; a wiring board assembly provided in the case and comprised of an insulating board and a plurality of bus bars mounted on the insulating board, the bus bars being sandwiched between the insulating board and the rib of the case; and a drainage channel provided near the bus bars. The drainage channel comprises a cutout of the rib formed at a portion bridging the adjacent bus bars. With this structure, the water having entered the case is prevented from staying in this portion, so that it may smoothly flow through the cutout of the rib to the outside of the case. Accordingly, the generation of short circuits between the adjacent bus bars may be prevented. At least a through-hole may be formed through the insulating board at a position near the bus bars, and a gap may be defined between the bus bars and the insulating board by providing a plurality of projections on the insulating board.

An electrical connection box for use with automobile wires. Improved waterproofing is provided by arranging bus bars in grooves defined by walls as a base plate, and overlying said bars with waterproof elements.

Electric connection box

A wiring apparatus for automobiles includes option-circuit blocks having optional circuits which are specific to certain models and classes of automobiles. The option-circuit blocks have a first group of connectors adapted for mating with a second group of connectors on a basic block which also includes a third group of connectors. The basic-circuit block and the option-circuit blocks are accommodated in a housing in which terminal connectors are placed to be matingly connected with the third group of connectors. The basic-circuit block is secured to the housing and both mechanical and electrical connections between the option-circuit block and the basic-circuit block are simultaneously established as the basic-circuit block is secured to the housing.

Wiring apparatus for automobile

A wiring connection apparatus is disclosed in which an electric connection box connected to connectors of terminals of wire harnesses is housed and fixed in a protecting cover. A reception seat for fixing the electric connection box by means of a screw is fixed to the protecting cover. A lock unit is provided between the reception seat and the connectors of the terminals of the wire harnesses so that the electric connection box and the connectors may be simultaneously connected to each other when the electric connection box is fixed to the reception seat by the screw.

Wiring connection apparatus

A wire harness coupling unit intended for use on a vehicular instrument panel to facilitate coupling of connectors of a wire harness on the instrument panel with corresponding connectors of a wire harness on the dashboard side. The wire harness coupling unit essentially includes: a male coupler member provided on one of the dashboard and instrument panel and carrying connectors of one of the wire harnesses in predetermined positions; a female coupler member provided on the other one of the dashboard and instrument panel in face-to-face relation with the male coupler member and carrying connectors of the other one of the first and second wire harnesses in predetermined positions; the male and female coupler members being engageable with each other upon assembling the instrument panel onto the dashboard to couple the connectors of the two wire harnesses with each other.
