Provided is an ultrasonic flow sensor with improved practicality. An ultrasonic wave is transmitted and received by an ultrasonic element. A first flow rate value of a fluid in a pipe is calculated based on a propagation time difference of an ultrasonic signal, a measurement value corresponding to an ultrasonic velocity, and a parameter for identifying an inner diameter of the pipe. A second flow rate value of the fluid in the pipe is calculated based on a frequency shift of the ultrasonic signal and the parameter. The first flow rate value is calculated using a propagation time of the ultrasonic signal as the measurement value in accordance with a correspondence relationship among a distance of a path through which the ultrasonic wave propagates through the fluid in the pipe, a time for which the ultrasonic signal propagates in the path, and the ultrasonic velocity.

Ultrasonic flow sensor

A clamp-on type ultrasonic flowmeter which is detachably attached to an outer wall of cylindrical piping is provided. An ultrasonic signal is transmitted to the piping from one of the first and the second ultrasonic devices, a plate wave corresponding to the ultrasonic signal is generated, and an ultrasonic signal corresponding to the plate wave is received by the other ultrasonic device. A pipe wall thickness of the piping and a frequency of the ultrasonic signal are in a state in which a plate wave of a low order asymmetric mode is significantly excited in the piping. A flow rate is calculated corresponding to phase velocity characteristics of the low order asymmetric mode.

A suit-type cosmetic air massage device for providing air pressuring massage upon a human whole body. To provide air pressuring massage, suit-shaped parts are made to cover a human whole body, and can be separated into an upper suit-shaped part and a lower suit-shaped part. And plural air bags are symmetrically installed within the left and right side from the position corresponding to the hand region to the position corresponding to the shoulder regions of the upper suit-shaped part, and from the position corresponding to the feet parts to the waist part of the lower suit-shaped part. These air bags are divided into the first, second, third and fourth group, and each air bag in each group can be supplied with air simultaneously or independently in order from connecting with the intake/exhaust instrument by an intaking/exhausting hose.

Suit-type cosmetic air massage device

A chair-type air massage device which is capable of providing air massage to a user's whole body in a reclined position. The air massage device includes a backrest pivotally joined with a seat. Armrests are secured to both sides of the seat. A footrest is joined to the front end of the seat and can be moved between a projected position and a retracted position. Air bags for a neck massage, air bags for a back massage and air bags for a waist massage are disposed on the backrest. Further, air bags for a buttocks massage are disposed on the seat. Air bags for a thigh massage are positioned between armrests on the seat. Air massage can be provided to a user's whole body in a reclined position by supplying and exhausting compressed air to each of the air bags to thereby expand and contract each of the air bags.

Chair-type air massage device

A chair-type air massage device which is capable of providing air massage to a user's legs in comfortable positions such as a reclined position or a sitting position. The air massage device includes a backrest pivotally joined with a seat. A footrest is joined to the front end of the seat and can be moved between a forwardly-projecting or extended position and a retracted position. A number of air bags for providing a leg massage are disposed on the footrest. When the footrest is in the extended position, a user's legs may be oriented approximately horizontally and compressed air may be supplied and exhausted to and from the air bags so as to cause the air bags to expand and contract and thus massage the user's legs in a reclined position. Likewise, when the footrest is in the retracted position, a user's legs may be oriented approximately vertically and compressed air may be supplied and exhausted to and from the air bags so as to cause the air bags to expand and contract and thus massage the user's legs in a sitting position.

A reclining legless chair comprising an interlocking headrest constructed from a framework composed of a seat frame, back materials, and a headrest frame, which allows users to automatically set the inclining angle of the headrest which is interlocked to the angle between the seat and the back of the chair wherein the latter angle can be set in one of several steps at will by a user. The framework is made from a U-shaped seat frame, back materials and a headrest frame, in which both opening ends of the seat frame are connected to the straight rods of the back materials through a ratchet and the other ends of the rods are connected to both ends of a U-shaped headrest frame through interlocking mechanisms. The framework is suitably covered with elastic materials, is finished by covering the elastic materials with external cloth and permits the headrest frame to move interlockingly with the inclining angle of the back materials against the seat frame.
