A horn antenna includes a metallic horn having a rear end adapted for connection with a waveguide. The horn antenna further includes a dielectric horn connected with the metallic horn and extending forward from a front end of the metallic horn. The dielectric horn includes: i) a metallic horn filler section adapted for filling an internal space of the metallic horn; ii) a waveguide filler section formed to extend rearward from a rear end of the metallic horn filler section and adapted for filling an internal space of a section of a predetermined length of the waveguide; and iii) a flared end section having a frustum shaped internal space, which is formed to flare out toward the front end of the dielectric horn. The metallic horn and the flared end section of the dielectric horn have respective cross sections whose outer contours are the same as each other.

A non-aqueous cosmetic composition contains (A) activated zeolite, (B) a polyhydric alcohol having a molecular weight not higher than 1,000, and (C) a high molecular compound soluble in the ingredient (B). When shaken upon use, the cosmetic composition permits ready and even dispersion of the zeolite, exhibits good spreadability and compatibility on the skin and can be readily applied over a wide area. The invention relates to a cosmetic composition comprising (A) a polyhydric alcohol and (B) a finely particulate metal oxide, wherein water is substantially not contained. Hot-water extracts of the neem bark produced by treating the bark of neem with water at a temperature from 0.degree. to 40.degree. C. and subjecting the residue from said pre-extraction treatment to extraction treatment with hot water. Purification of the extract thus produced by means of alcohol precipitation or dialysis gives products of a higher purity. Moreover, treatments prior to the pre-extraction treatment with water at 0.degree.-40.degree. C. with a non-polar organic solvent having a dielectric constant of 10 or lower and a polar organic solvent having a dielectric constant from 15 to 35 yields neem extracts of a further higher purity. The hot-water extracts of the neem bark according to the present invention possess activity against mouse L-5178Y cells and transplanted sarcoma 180 tumors.

A hot-water extract of the bark of Melia azadirachta L. is treated with a gel filtrating agent with a fractionation range molecular weight from 1.times.10.sup.3 -1.times.10.sup.5 to 1.times.10.sup.3 -1.5.times.10.sup.5. There is obtained polysaccharide N9GI from the first fraction of the three divided polysaccharide fractions. Polysaccharide N9GI further treated with a gel-filtrating agent with a fractionation range molecular weight from 1.times.10.sup.3 -2.times.10.sup.5 to 1.times.10.sup.3 -8.times.10.sup.5. There are obtained polysaccharide N9GIa and polysaccharide N9GIb respectively from the first and second fractions of the two divided polysaccharide fractions.

Neem bark extracts produced by pre-treating the bark of neem with an organic solvent having a dielectric constant of 10 or lower, for example, benzene or ethyl acetate and subjecting the residue obtained by the pre-treatment to extraction with a hydrophilic organic solvent having a dielectric constant from 15 to 35, for example, methanol or ethanol and recovering the neem bark extracts from the hydrophilic organic extraction solvent.
