A key information management device includes an information processing device. The information processing device is configured to deliver key information to a mobile terminal as the mobile terminal transmits a predetermined transmission signal toward a vehicle. The key information is information for unlocking the vehicle, starting the vehicle, or unlocking and starting the vehicle. The information processing device is configured to register permission for a user of the vehicle to use a predetermined service using the vehicle. The permission is permission to cause the information processing device to deliver the key information to a mobile terminal of a third party concerned with the predetermined service, other than the user of the vehicle.

A car sharing system includes a car share device and a communication control unit. The car share device is configured to perform wireless communication with a mobile terminal that is operable as an electronic key. The communication control unit controls the wireless communication between the mobile terminal and the car share device so that an authentication process through bidirectional communication is executed only when a communication connection establishment process is performed. After the wireless communication has been established, the communication control unit controls the wireless communication so that actuation of an on-board device is permitted in accordance with operation of the mobile terminal through unidirectional communication from the mobile terminal to the car share device.

The car sharing system includes a car share device and an encryption code updating unit. The detection unit is configured to detect an input manipulation of a user with respect to the touch panel. The request unit is configured to transmit a control request for causing the vehicle to perform a first operation to the communication device in response to detection of an input manipulation in a first aspect, the first operation being any one of locking and unlocking of the vehicle, and transmit a control request for causing the vehicle to perform a second operation to the communication device in response to detection of an input manipulation in a second aspect different from the first aspect, the second operation including an operation different from locking and unlocking of the vehicle.

A car sharing system includes a car share device mounted on a vehicle. The car share device performs wireless communication with a mobile terminal, to which code information is registered so that the mobile terminal is actuated as a vehicle key of the vehicle, to authenticate the code information through the wireless communication. In an authentication completion state of the code information, the car share device performs ID verification through an electronic key system of the vehicle to allow the mobile terminal to operate an on-board device. The car sharing system further includes a position monitor that monitors whether the mobile terminal has approached the vehicle, and an automatic transmitter that automatically transmits an actuation permission request, which requests a permission for actuation of the on-board device, from the mobile terminal when the position monitor determines that the mobile terminal has approached the vehicle.

Car sharing system and car sharing program

A car sharing system includes a car share device and a usage right lending unit that allows multiple users including a first user and a second user to use the vehicle. If the second user requests for usage of the vehicle when the vehicle is being rented to the first user, the usage right lending unit allows the second user to use the vehicle as long as the second user satisfies a lending condition.

A wireless communication system includes: a locking and unlocking device configured to control locking and unlocking of a target, the locking and unlocking device including a device-side communication module configured to communicate a first signal having a first frequency band; and a key unit configured to command the locking and unlocking of the target by communicating with the locking and unlocking device. The key unit includes a unit-side communication module that communicates the first signal. The key unit is installed in the target such that a distance between the unit-side communication module and the device-side communication module is within a predetermined distance at which communication between the unit-side communication module and the device-side communication module is possible and that an axis of the unit-side antenna coil of the unit-side communication module is parallel to the axis of the device-side antenna coil.

Wireless communication system

A key unit authenticates a portable terminal based on information acquired from the portable terminal and controls locking and unlocking of a target by transmitting a signal to a locking and unlocking device. The key unit includes: a first communication unit configured to receive a request signal transmitted in a first frequency band from the locking and unlocking device; a controller configured to authenticate the portable terminal and process signals transmitted to and received from the locking and unlocking device; a second communication unit configured to perform short-range wireless communication with the portable terminal in a second frequency band; and a substrate on which the first communication unit, the controller, and the second communication unit are mounted. The first communication unit and the second communication unit are mounted at positions facing each other across the controller, on the substrate.

Key unit and vehicle having key unit

A key unit includes: a first communication module; a second communication module; an authentication unit configured to perform authentication using authentication information when an operation request including the authentication information has been received via the first communication module; and a control unit configured to perform locking and unlocking with a key in response to the operation request when the authentication using the authentication information has succeeded and to transmit a control signal for performing an operation other than the locking and unlocking with the key to the control device via the second communication module after the authentication.

A car sharing system includes a car sharing device. The car sharing device includes a key function unit and a user authentication function unit. The key function unit allows a device of a vehicle that is shared with multiple people to operate by performing ID verification through a process similar to an electronic key of the vehicle. When the device of the vehicle is operated with a mobile terminal, the user authentication function unit obtains key information from an external device via the mobile terminal and performs authentication of the key information. When authentication of the key information is accomplished and use of the vehicle is within a reservation time, the user authentication function unit validates the key function unit. The key information is generated as information that is permitted only a temporary use.

Car sharing system and car sharing method

A car sharing system includes a car share device installed in a vehicle. The car share device includes a key function unit configured to verify an electronic key ID used by an electronic key system of the vehicle. The car sharing system further includes a key function invalidating unit that invalidates the key function unit when a condition is satisfied for switching the key function unit from a valid state to an invalid state.

A key information management device includes an information processing device. An onboard device includes a storage unit configured to store a control program for controlling the onboard device and a communication unit configured to perform data communication with a mobile terminal. The communication unit performs data communication of a rewriting program with the mobile terminal when the communication unit has received a rewriting notification signal indicating rewriting of the control program stored from the mobile terminal and the vehicle is in a chargeable state in which the battery is able to be charged by the power generator. The communication unit does not perform data communication of the rewriting program with the mobile terminal when the vehicle is not in the chargeable state.
