A control device according to an aspect of the present invention comprises: a progress information output unit that determines the progress of work on the basis of sensor data, obtained from at least one among a work device and the work environment of the work device, and sensor data during normal progress of the work device, and outputs progress information indicating the progress of work; a management unit that generates an operation command of the work device on the basis of the progress information, and outputs the operation command; and a control unit that generates a driving signal for driving the work device on the basis of the operation command and the sensor data, and outputs said driving signal to the work device.

Control device and automatic work method

A positioning unit that performs positioning with respect to a predetermined sample, an imaging unit that obtains an image of the sample, and a processing unit, in which the imaging unit is moved by the positioning unit, and obtains a first image and a second image which is obtained later than the first image, and in which the processing unit obtains a first position shift trend from the first image and the second image, and determines whether or not the positioning is abnormal from a change of the first position shift trend.

Positioning system

A sinusoidal signal that is frequency-swept so as to have a frequency region in which each frequency has a different number of cycles and/or application duration is applied to a control system in a movement device that moves a movement target, time-series data for transmission characteristics obtained from said control system as a result of the application of the aforementioned sinusoidal signal is acquired, and said time-series data is subjected to spectral analysis. This allows the provision of a positioning control device and a frequency-characteristics measurement method that make it possible to optimize measuring precision while minimizing increases in the amount of time it takes to measure frequency characteristics.

Frequency-characteristics measurement method and positioning control device

An object of the invention is to provide a positioning apparatus and a positioning control device that may perform precise positioning by suppressing relative displacement of a movable point and positioning target objects. In a positioning apparatus including a movable stage, a stage position detector that detects a position of the movable stage, a control device that performs positioning of the movable stage, a positioning target object for positioning of the movable stage, and at least one or more sensors in a structure of the positioning target object or the movable stage, the control device includes an amount of relative displacement estimation unit that estimates an amount of relative displacement of the movable stage and the positioning target object using information of the sensor and information of the stage position detector, and a unit that controls the position of the stage using information calculated by the amount of relative displacement estimation unit.

Positioning control device

A head support mechanism includes a head to write/read information, and a head support member to support the head. The head support member has parts delimiting an opening at a portion thereof in which opposing parts which delimit the opening in a width direction of the head support member are elastically deformable. Protrusions are formed on edges of the opening, and piezoelectric elements are mounted on the protrusions to enable deforming of the head support member in a direction of positioning of the head.

Magnetic disk apparatus

A magnetic disk apparatus includes a low-rotation mode for decreasing the revolution number of a disk, in the low-rotation mode, any control signal for decelerating the disk is not generated to permit it to be decelerated owing to inertial drive and when a detected speed falls below a target speed, the disk is accelerated to thereby realize power saving.

By increasing the gain of a controller for coarse motion CFBV within a frequency band in which the gain of a sensitivity function SP&equals;1/(1&plus;PP&middot;CFBP) of fine motion actuator DP and controller for fine motion CFBP exceeds 0 dB, the gain of a sensitivity function SV&equals;1/(1&plus;PP&middot;CFBV) of coarse motion actuator PV and coarse motion controller CFBV is decreased. Through this, in a two-stage actuator control system, a disk apparatus can be provided in which a sensitivity function SPES&equals;1/(1&plus;PP&middot;CFBP)&middot;1/(1&plus;PP&middot;CFBV) indicative of a disturbance compressive ratio in a signal path ranging from disturbance components to a head position error signal is rendered to be 0 dB or less at all frequencies concerned.

Two-stage actuator with sensitivity function preventing disturbances at all frequencies

A magnetic disk device comprises at least a disk having information, at least a head for reading or writing information from or into the disk, at least a micro actuator for supporting the head and positioning the head, a coarse actuator for carrying the micro actuator and positioning the head, a controller for controlling the micro actuator and the coarse actuator based on the servo information read by the head, and a host controller for determining that information is to be read. In the case where the host controller determines that the operation is in a wait mode, the positioning operation of the micro actuator is stopped.

Magnetic disk device including coarse and micro actuators

In a magnetic recording apparatus including a support arm movable with respect to a magnetic recording disk, a first actuator for moving the support arm with respect to the magnetic recording disk, a pair of support members at least one of which holds a magnetic head thereon and each of which is connected to the first actuator through the support arm to be driven by the first actuator through the support arm, and a pair of second actuators for moving respectively the support members with respect to the support arm so that the support members are respectively moved with respect to the magnetic recording disk by the first actuator and the second actuators, the second actuators move simultaneously the support members respectively with respect to the support arm in respective directions opposite to each other.

Magnetic disk recording apparatus

A magnetic disk apparatus of the present invention is equipped with a microactuator for micro motion using piezoelectric elements in addition to a coarse adjustment actuator such as a voice coil motor or the like, eliminates parts that slide between the microactuator and surrounding members, and alleviates stress on the piezoelectric elements even if an impact is given to the magnetic disk apparatus. Thus, a first actuator fixing portion on a carriage side and a second actuator fixing portion on a magnetic head side of a microactuator mounting portion are coupled with a plurality of flexible coupling portions and coupling portions are placed outside the microactuator in substantially symmetric with respect to a centerline in a longitudinal direction of a suspension.
