A communication device according to one embodiment includes one or more hardware processors. The processors serve to acquire, from at least one electronic device, output data output from the electronic device. The processors serve to communicate with a server device by a communication technique in which numbers indicating communication timings are synchronized. The processors also serve to transmit, to the server device as a destination, the output data in association with a first number out of the numbers. The first number indicates a timing at which the output data is acquired.

Communication device, computer program product, and communication system

A communication device includes one or more processors. The processors acquire, from at least one electronic device, output data output from the electronic device and current time information managed by the electronic device. The processors communicate with a server device using a communication technique in which numbers indicating communication timings are synchronized, and transmits the output data to the server device. The processors calculate corrected time information by correcting the current time information on the basis of a reference number indicating a number serving as a reference. The processors set the calculated corrected time information in the electronic device.

There is provided an antenna device including: a finite ground plane; a feeding point; feed antenna elements arranged in a radial fashion around the feeding point at a height from the finite ground plane; a selector switch to connect a first end of a feed antenna element selected from the feed antenna elements to the feeding point; and parasitic elements arranged correspondingly to the feed antenna elements, in which a first end thereof is connected to the finite ground plane and a portion including a second end thereof is capacitively coupled with the feed antenna element corresponding thereto, wherein a first length of the parasitic element is approximately a quarter of a wavelength of a radio frequency to be used, and a length from the second end of the feed antenna element to the feeding point is shorter than the first length of the parasitic element.

Antenna device

There is provided with an antenna device includes a conductive ground plane; an antenna including a radiating element; at least one variable capacitor having one end connected to the conductive ground plane; a plurality of switch elements having one ends connected to the other end of said at least one variable capacitor and other ends connected to the antenna at different locations; a switch controlling unit configured to control an ON/OFF state of each of the switch elements; and a capacitor controlling unit configured to control a capacitance of said at least one variable capacitor.

Antenna device and radio communication device

An example antenna device includes a conductive ground plane and first and second antenna elements connected to the conductive ground plane through first and second feeding points, respectively. Directivities of the first and second antenna elements are arranged to be approximately perpendicular to each other. A phase adjusting circuit is configured to provide a phase difference of approximately 180 degrees between first and second received signals by the first and second antenna elements, respectively and a combining circuit is configured to combine the first and second received signals having a phase difference of approximately 180 degrees therebetween to obtain a combined signal. A radio unit is configured to process the combined signal.

Antenna device and signal receiving method

First and second monopole conductive elements are disposed so as to be approximately mutually perpendicular and so that respective open ends are adjacent, and with respect to a straight line that passes between open ends of the first and second monopole conductive elements and through a center of a conductive ground plane, a first conductive ground plane portion formed on a first monopole conductive element-side of the straight line among the conductive ground plane and the first monopole conductive element are formed so as to be approximately symmetrical to a second conductive ground plane portion formed on a second monopole conductive element-side of the straight line among the conductive ground plane and the second monopole conductive element.
