A seat slide structure includes a cushion frame, a slide rail including lower and upper rails, a movement mechanism, and a lock mechanism. The movement mechanism slides the cushion frame along a length direction of the slide rail. The lock mechanism includes a lock body engaging with the slide rail, and places or lifts a restriction on movement of the slide rail. The movement mechanism includes a lead screw, a gear part, and a shake absorber. The lead screw is provided in parallel with the slide rail, and is supported by the upper rail. The gear part transmits power from a power source to the lead screw to slide the lead screw and the upper rail along the lower rail. The shake absorber allows the cushion frame and the lead screw to move relative to one another in a moving direction of the upper rail along the lower rail.

Seat slide structure

A headrest is attached to a square frame-shaped seatback frame so that the headrest can be moved back and forth by an upper lever. The upper lever is connected by a connection rod to a lower lever provided at the seatback frame. Left and right connection arms of a rear collision detector are attached to the lower lever. Backward movement of the rear collision detector moves forward the headrest via the connection rod and the upper lever. The connection arms of the rear collision detector are fixed to the lower lever, held at a predetermined angle.

Vehicle seat

A light alloy seat back frame for a vehicle seat, including a pair of spaced apart side sections, an upper section interconnecting the side sections, a lower section formed into a substantially plate-shape having a width, the lower section extending between lower regions of rear sides of the side sections and interconnecting the side sections, the upper, side and lower sections being integrally made of light alloy, and a belt-shaped metal plate fixed onto a surface of the lower section. The seat back frame further includes a recliner mechanism for allowing a seat back of the vehicle seat to be pivoted with respect to a seat cushion of the vehicle seat. The recliner mechanism comprises cam devices mounted onto lower regions of outer surfaces of the side sections, and an actuating shaft extending along the lower section and interconnecting the cam devices. A metal pipe member for reinforcing a lower part of the seat back frame is mounted around an axial portion of the actuating shaft. There is also disclosed a vehicle seat provided with the seat back frame.

Light alloy seat back frame for vehicle seat, and reclining vehicle-seat with the seat back frame

A retainer for fixing terminals of springsto a round shaftof a seat frame for a seat is disclosed. Each of the terminals of the springs is formed into a substantially U-shape. The retainer includes a bodyof a substantially U-shape in cross-section which is adapted to be mounted on the round shaft, and pairs of first and second spring-engaging piecesbent laterally from both edges of the U-shaped body. The retainer is adapted to fix the substantially U-shaped terminals of the springsto the round shaftwith the first and second spring-engaging piecesthereof being engaged with the substantially U-shaped terminals of the springs

A vehicle seat having: a seat cushion and a seat back formed by covering a surface of a seat pad with a top cover member; a plurality of air holes which penetrate the seat pad to reach a surface of the top cover member; a plurality of air outlets which project from a surface of a duct to be connected to the air holes; and an air blower to pressure and feed air inside a vehicle compartment to the air holes through the duct and the air outlets, wherein an engagement portion which projects in a radial direction of one of the air outlets is provided at a tip of the one of the air outlets.

A vehicle seat having: a seat cushion and a seat back formed by covering a surface of a seat pad with a top cover member; a plurality of air holes which penetrate the seat pad to reach a surface of the top cover member; a plurality of air outlets which project from a surface of a duct to be connected to the air holes; and an air blower to pressure and feed air inside a vehicle compartment to the air holes through the duct and the air outlets, wherein at least a portion of one of the air holes is formed in a tapered shape with a diameter which decreases toward the surface of the top cover member.

A vehicle seat is disclosed. The vehicle seat includes a seat back frame made of a light alloy and formed into a substantially quadrilateral shape, the seat back frame comprising an upper section, left and right side sections, and a lower section, an airbag module provided at one of the left and right side sections, the airbag module being adapted to be enclosed by stay cloths which are sewn at one terminals thereof together with terminals of front and side portions of a trim cover, first and second retainer members secured to the side section for retaining the other terminals of the stay cloths, the first and second retainer members including applying plate portions, the applying portion of the first retainer member being applied onto one surface of the side section, the applying portion of the second retainer member being applied onto the other surface of the side section, bolts penetrating the applying portion of the first retainer member, the side section, and the applying portion of the second retainer member, and nuts mounted on the bolts, so that the first and second retainer members are fastened together to the side section so as to be interpose the side section therebetween.

Vehicle seat having light alloy frame provided with airbag module

A vehicle seat includes a seat cushion which has a frame structure and a cushion member combined with the frame structure, the frame structure including a pair of spaced apart side frame members, a front frame member fixed to forward end portions of the side frame members, a connecting shaft extending between rearward end portions of the side frame members and interconnecting the rearward end portions of the side frame members, a plurality of zigzag springs stretched between the front frame member and the connecting shaft, the cushion member being laid on the zigzag springs, and retainers mounted on the connecting shaft, the zigzag springs being engaged at one terminals thereof with the retainer.
