A vehicle electric motor including: a tubular-shaped stator core constituted by electromagnetic steel sheets that are laminated on each other; a rotor disposed inside the stator core so as to be rotated about an axis; and a housing storing therein the tubular-shaped stator core and the rotor, and including a circumferential wall and axially opposite end walls that are opposed to each other in a direction parallel with the axis. The stator core is fixed at one of its axially end portions to one of the axially opposite end walls of the housing. The housing includes a stator-core-inclination restraining portion that protrudes from an inner circumferential surface of the circumferential wall of the housing toward a part of an outer circumferential surface of the stator core, wherein the part is located on a side of the other of the axially end portions of the stator core.

Vehicle electric motor

A vehicle electric motor including: a tubular-shaped stator core constituted by laminated steel sheets; a casing including an outer circumferential wall and a bottom wall, and storing therein an axial end portion of the stator core; a casing cover including an outer circumferential wall and a bottom wall, and storing therein another axial end portion of the stator core, and a rotor disposed inside the stator core. The stator core includes fastened portions protruding radially outwardly from respective portions of an outer circumferential surface of the stator core which are circumferentially spaced apart from each other. The stator core is fastened at the fastened portions to the bottom wall of one of the casing and the casing cover. The other of the casing and the casing cover includes protrusion portions protruding from its inner wall surface toward the stator core so as to restrain inclination of the stator core.

A lubrication mechanism for supplying oil to a bearing of a vehicle electric motor that includes the bearing, a housing, a stator and a rotor having a rotor shaft rotatably held by the housing through the bearing. The housing defines an oil passage to which oil discharged from an oil pump is to be supplied. The oil passage and the bearing are located on respective opposite sides of a wall of the housing. The lubrication mechanism includes: a bolt hole passing through the wall; and a bolt engaged in the bolt hole.

Lubrication mechanism for bearing of vehicle electric motor

A rotating machine lubrication structure is applied to a rotating machine including a cylindrical stator, a rotor and a shaft. A resolver is disposed concentrically with the rotating machine center line between the bearing and the rotor in a direction of the rotating machine center line in the casing, the resolver includes an annular resolver stator fixed to an inner side surface of the casing in an outer circumferential portion of the resolver stator, and a resolver rotor disposed on an inner circumferential side of the resolver stator and fixed to and integrally rotated with the shaft, and the resolver stator is provided with an oil through-hole allowing the lubricating oil to flow through at a portion on an inner circumferential side relative to a part fixed to the casing.

Rotating machine lubrication structure

In a seat, in a state in which tilting of a back main frame around a tilting center is locked by a reclining mechanism, a lower end of a back joint link is turnably joined to a vehicle side. Thus, turning of a first link, a back sub frame and the back joint link is locked, and operation of a back link mechanism is locked. Therefore, a supporting rigidity from rear side of a back side portion can be enhanced by the back link mechanism (the back sub frame), and a crew sitting in the seat can be thoroughly retained.

Seat structure and vehicle

In a seat (), in a state in which tilting of a back main frame () around a tilting center (A) is locked by a reclining mechanism (), a lower end of a back joint link () is turnably joined to a vehicle side. Thus, turning of a first link (), a back sub frame () and the back joint link () is locked, and operation of a back link mechanism () is locked. Therefore, a supporting rigidity from rear side of a back side portion (B) can be enhanced by the back link mechanism () (the back sub frame ()), and a crew sitting in the seat () can be thoroughly retained.

When a seat () is to be stowed, a seat pad () is moved toward a seat () reverse side, pad side portions () are rotated toward the seat () reverse side with respect to a pad center portion (), and a center portion () and side portions () of the seat () are contracted. Here, interlockingly with contraction of the side portions (), a skin () is bent and folded in at portions covering distal ends of vertical walls () of a wall panel () and at second fixing portions (B). Due thereto, slack of the skin () at seat () lateral direction end surfaces can be taken in.

Seat structure and seat contraction method

A power seat system for a vehicle, includes an operational switch configured to be operated by an occupant for changing positions and attitudes of a vehicle seat whose positions and attitudes are electrically adjusted, a sensor portion positioned in the vicinity of the operational switch and detecting a hand of the occupant approaching the operational switch without contacting the hand of the occupant, and a control portion changing the positions and attitudes of the vehicle seat by actuating an actuator on the basis of an output from the operational switch, the control portion configured to display an operational display indicating adjusting portions and directions of the vehicle seat, which is adjustable by means of the operational switch on the basis of the output from the sensor portion, at an display device provided in a vehicle.

Power seat system for vehicle

Power is supplied to an ECU () from an on-vehicle battery (). When an ignition switch () is switched from the OFF state to the ON state upon vehicle engine start, the ECU () is switched from the power saving mode to the normal mode and a CPU () executes initial processing. Moreover, when a user puts on a seat belt and a seat belt switch () is switched from the ON state to the OFF state, the ECU () is switched from the power saving mode to the normal mode and the CPU () executes the initial processing. Thus, the initial processing is executed at a comparatively short interval and it is possible to improve the reliability of the CPU ().

Vehicle electronic control unit

An occupant classifying device for a vehicle includes a load detection device for detecting a load applied on a vehicle seat, a control device for judging classification of an occupant on the basis of load data inputted from the load detection device, and a communication control portion provided on the control device, the communication control portion for controlling bilateral communication conducted between the load detection device and the control device. The bilateral communication is conducted at different communication speeds on the basis of a communication state of the bilateral communication or an operational state of the control device.

Occupant classifying device for vehicle

An information request portion receives an information request signal transmitted to an information response portion at its own receiving port. The information request portion comprises at least either of a power supply system anomaly determination portion or a ground anomaly determination portion. The power supply system anomaly determination portion determines a short-circuit between a signal line and a power supply system in a case where the information request signal received at the receiving port is always fixed to a H (high) level. The ground anomaly determination portion determines a short-circuit between a signal line and a ground in a case where the information request signal received at the receiving port is always fixed to a L (Low) level. Consequently, the anomaly region of the signal line connecting the information request portion and the information response portion in such a manner that bidirectional digital communications are possible or the cause of the anomaly is specified.

An occupant determining device includes a load detecting sensor provided on a seat body and a controller. The controller calculates a detected load value based on an output value of the load detecting sensor and performs occupant determination based on the detected load value. The occupant determination state is switched to an adult determination state when a certain delaying time elapses after the detected load value exceeds a determination threshold. The controller sets plural determination thresholds, and the larger each determination threshold being exceeded by the detected load value is, the shorter the delaying time is set.

A headrest control apparatus for a vehicle includes: a headrest rear portion; a headrest front portion movable relative to the headrest rear portion between a first position and a second position; driving means for moving the headrest front portion relative to the headrest rear portion and controlling means controlling the driving means to move the headrest front portion towards the second position when a proximity of an object from a rear of the vehicle is detected and stop a movement of the headrest front portion towards the second position when the head detecting circuit detects the one of a proximity of the head towards, and a contact of the head with, the headrest front portion. The controlling means operates the head detecting circuit when the headrest front portion moves towards the second position.

Headrest control apparatus for vehicle and method of controlling headrest control apparatus for vehicle

A retractable seat may include a seat cushion and a seat back rotatably supported on the seat cushion in which one of the seat cushion and the seat back is arranged and constructed to be folded onto the other of the seat cushion and the seat back. At least one of the seat cushion and the seat back includes a frame, a cushion pad, and a linking mechanism. The frame includes a framework and a support member that supports the cushion pad from a backside of the cushion pad. The linking mechanism movably interconnects the framework and the support member and is arranged and constructed to move the support member toward a backside of the at least one of the seat cushion and the seat back when the seat cushion or the seat back is tilted toward a retracted position.
