The bowl portion of the flush toilet includes a bowl-shaped waste receiving surface and a rim portion formed on a top edge of the bowl portion. The rim portion includes a rim inside wall portion located on an inner side of the top edge of the bowl portion. The rim inside wall portion has a rim inside surface located at a lower area of the rim inside wall portion and a rim inside wall upper sloped surface having a section in a vertical plane, the shape of the section being sloped from an upper edge of the rim inside surface to an upper edge of the rim inside wall portion. The ratio between the height of the rim inside surface and the height of the rim inside wall upper sloped surface is 1:1 to 6:1 in a section in a vertical plane at any area other than a rear area.

A flush toilet having a bowl portion including a bowl-shaped waste receiving surface and a rim portion wherein the rim portion includes a rim top inside corner portion, and a rim top outside corner portion, and in at least part of the entire perimeter of the rim portion, the rounding of the rim top inside corner portion is formed to be larger than the rounding of the rim top outside corner portion. This rim profile enables the rim portion top surface, the rim top inside corner portion, and the inside wall can be efficiently cleaned.

A flush toilet is provided, which can restrain flushing water from excessively flowing down to an inner side of a bowl section before the flushing water reaches an upper end portion of a rising flow path, and can effectively restrain from occurring an unwashed region in the bowl section. A flush toilet of the present invention has a bowl section, and the bowl section forms a water conduit formed between the waste receiving surface and the rim section, and the water conduit includes a shelf portion forming an inclined surface lowering toward an outer side from an inner side of the bowl section, or a horizontal surface formed horizontally toward the outer side from the inner side of the bowl section, in at least a part of a rising flow path rising from a low portion of the water conduit.

A flush toilet for cleaning a toilet main body and discharging waste by using flush water is disclosed. The flush toilet contains a bowl portion including a bowl shaped waste-receiving surface and a rim portion formed on a top edge of the waste-receiving surface, the rim portion having an inner circumferential surface whose top portion is configured to rises vertically. The bowl portion contains a front region, the front region includes a first arc-shaped surface having a curvature Rin a horizontal direction of a top portion of the waste-receiving surface and a second arc-shaped surface having a curvature Rin a vertical direction formed by the inner circumferential surface of the rim portion and the waste-receiving surface, and the ratio of the curvature Rto the curvature Ris in a range of 1:3 to 3:1.

A flush toilet includes a bowl having a waste-receiving surface and a rim; the bowl comprises a front region on the front side of a center line extending in the left-right direction and equally dividing the bowl in the front-rear direction, and a rear region on the rear side thereof; whereby on either the left or right side in the front area of the bowl, on the rim, a rim water passageway is formed for passing flush water supplied from a conduit, and a rim spout port is formed, and the rim water passageway comprises: an outside passageway extending from the inlet thereof through the rim interior toward the front; a bent passageway bending inward from the downstream end of this outside passageway; and an inside passageway extending from this bent passageway toward the rear, up to the rim spout port.

A flush toilet wherein the rim inside wall portion comprises a rim inside wall upper sloped surface, and an improvement in user visibility and user rim portion cleanability is sought, flush water can be constrained from splashing outside the bowl portion by traveling by centrifugal force along the rim inside wall upper sloped surface from the inside surface formed at a relatively low height. The rim portion of the flush toilet of the invention includes a rim inside wall portion; the rim inside wall portion comprises a rim inside wall upper sloped surface, and an inside surface vertically extending straight up to the rim inside wall upper sloped surface; and the water supply apparatus comprises a constant flow rate valve for spouting a predetermined constant flow rate of flush water from the water spouting portion.

To provide a flush toilet in which: a circulating flow can be formed to uniformly circulate over a waste receiving surface while flushing; localized changes in external appearance of a toilet main body can be inhibited; and impression of a left-right symmetrical external shape can be conveyed to users so that design characteristics thereof are favorably preserved. A rim portion in a flush toilet includes a slit opening portion formed between an upper edge portion of the waste receiving surface formed to be left-right asymmetrical and a rim inside wall formed to be left-right symmetrical. The slit opening portion is formed such that a slit gap on one side, to which a connecting water conduit is directed, is smaller than a slit gap on the other side. A circulating flow is formed on the waste-receiving surface by flush water spouted from the slit opening portion having the different slit gaps.

A flush toilet includes: a bowl portion; a rim portion disposed on a top edge of the bowl portion; a spout portion for spouting flush water supplied from the water supply source to the bowl portion to form a circulating current; a discharge passage for discharging waste in the bowl portion, an inlet portion of the discharge passage being connected at the bottom of the bowl portion; a sanitary washing device disposed at a rear of the bowl portion, the sanitary washing device including a nozzle for spraying flush water toward a user positioned over the bowl portion; and a skirt portion disposed to respectively cover sides of both the bowl portion and the discharge passage.

A flush toilet includes: a bowl portion having a waste-receiving surface, a rim and a recess; a rim spout portion configured to spout flush water to form a swirl flow which swirlingly flows along the inner peripheral surface; a drainage conduit having an inlet connecting with the recess to discharge waste therethrough, wherein the waste-receiving surface of the bowl portion is composed of a left waste-receiving sub-surface and a right waste-receiving sub-surface defined, respectively, on both sided of a center line with respect to a lateral direction of the bowl portion, the left waste-receiving sub-surface and the right waste-receiving sub-surface are formed, respectively, in different shapes in a front region of the bowl portion so as to allow flush water spouted from the rim spout portion to form a major stream which flows from a front end of the bowl portion into the recess.

A flush toilet which including a bowl portion having a waste-receiving surface, a rim and a recess; a water spouting portion for spouting the flush water forwardly; and a drainage conduit. The recess of the bowl portion has a bottom below a pooled water level, and a wall surface connecting between the bottom and a lower edge of the waste-receiving surface, wherein the bottom of the recess has a front bottom surface and a rear bottom surface. The bowl portion is configured to allow flush water to form a major stream which is directed to flow from an front end of the bowl portion toward the inlet of the drainage conduit, and the rear bottom surface of the bottom is configured to allow a part of the major stream to collide therewith, and then guide the collided major stream to a front region inside the drainage conduit.

A flush toilet which includes: a bowl portion having a waste-receiving surface, a rim and a recess; a first rim spout portion which spouts flush water toward a front end of the bowl portion so as to form a swirl flow; and a second rim spout portion which spouts flush water so as to form a swirl flow having a same flow direction as that of the swirl flow formable by the first rim spout portion. The bowl portion is configured to allow flush water spouted from the first rim spout portion to form a major stream which flows from the front end of the bowl portion into the recess, and allow flush water spouted from the second rim spout portion to flow into the recess from a lateral side of the bowl portion and then merge with the major stream M.
