A manufacturing method of an operation pipe, which use a gel to perform operations such as separation, extraction, purification, elution, recovery, analysis and the like of target components that are biological components such as nucleic acids. More specifically, a manufacturing method of an operation pipe, with which it is possible to perform operations such as separation, extraction, purification, elution, recovery, analysis and the like of target components in a sealable pipe by operating magnetic particles in the pipe under a magnetic field from outside of the pipe.

Manufacturing method of the operation pipe

A purpose of the present invention is to suppress reduction in recovery rate of a target component due to a gel adhering to an inner wall surface of a treatment liquid layer. After passing magnetic particles through a gel layer, when moving the magnetic particles in the treatment liquid layer adjacent to the gel layer, the magnetic force source is automatically operated in a longitudinal direction of a tubular container so that the magnetic particles do not enter a range of a certain distance from the gel layer through which the magnetic particles have passed.

Method and device for manipulating magnetic particles

A magnetic particle operation device comprising a tubular container having a longitudinal shape and including a sample introduction space in which a sample including a target substance and magnetic particles for immobilizing the target substance thereon are received, and a sample movement space in which a gel-like medium layer and a liquid layer are alternately arranged in its longitudinal direction. The magnetic particle operation device further comprising a first magnet provided outside the tubular container to face the sample introduction space, the first magnet configured to hold the magnetic particles in the sample introduction space in the container when the device is not used; and a second magnet configured to move the magnetic particles with the target substance being immobilized thereon, from the sample introduction space to the sample movement space, passing through the gel-like medium layer and the liquid layer in the longitudinal direction, when the device is used.

Magnetic particle operation device

A field-flow fractionation device includes a separation channel, a carrier fluid supplier, a separation membrane, a waste liquid chamber, a cross-flow flow rate adjuster, and a carrier fluid adder. The carrier fluid adder is configured to add, to a flow of a carrier fluid having passed through the separation membrane, a flow of another carrier fluid at a carrier fluid adding position set on an upstream side of the cross-flow flow rate adjuster so that the flow rate of the carrier fluid flowing into the cross-flow flow rate adjuster is larger than the flow rate of the carrier fluid having passed through the separation membrane.

Field flow fractionation device

Field flow fractionation device includes a channel switching unit for switching the connection of a second carrier fluid supply unit to any one of the second inlet port of an upper separation cell, the first inlet port of a lower separation cell, or the second inlet port of a lower separation cell. Furthermore, the second carrier fluid supply unit is connected to the second inlet port of an upper separation cell during the process of focusing to generate flow of carrier fluid counter to the flow of carrier fluid from the first inlet port within the upper separation cell, whereas the second carrier fluid supply unit is connected to the first inlet port or the second inlet port of a lower separation cell after conclusion of focusing in the upper separation cell.

A cell culture container includes a storage container, a cell culture area, a culture solution supply unit, and a discharge unit. The cell culture area is a region for culturing cells, and is provided in the storage container. The culture solution supply unit supplies the culture solution into the cell culture area at a flow rate equal to or less than a predetermined flow rate. The discharge unit discharges the liquid in the cell culture area to the outside of the storage container. A rectification unit is a structure in which a plurality of outflow ports are uniformly arranged in a direction perpendicular to the flow direction of the culture solution from the culture solution supply unit to the discharge unit.

A field flow fractionation apparatus includes a separation channel provided with an inlet port and an outlet port at both ends and forming a space through which a carrier fluid flows between the inlet port and the outlet port, a separation membrane which is a wall surface that defines the separation channel and is parallel to a channel flow in which a carrier fluid flows in the separation channel from the inlet port toward the outlet port, and has a property of permeating the carrier fluid and not permeating particles to be separated, and a discharge port that discharges the carrier fluid having permeated through the separation membrane to outside. At least a part of the surface of the separation membrane is an ion exchangeable region in which a functional group having ion exchangeability is modified.

Field flow fractionation apparatus

To provide a cell treatment container, including: a first member having a flow path in which a cell suspension including a liquid and cells dispersed in the liquid flows through, the flow path formed on a surface of the first member; a second member arranged to face the surface of the first member; and a damming formed in one or both of the first member and the second member, in which the damming is provided with a protrusion part protruding from the first member into the flow path to form a gap for allowing the liquid in the cell suspension to pass through the gap and for damming up the cells in the cell suspension, and a pillar extending from the protrusion part at a first end and being joined to the second member at a second end.

Cell treatment container and cell treatment device

A device for manipulating magnetic particles includes a gelled medium layer and liquid layers alternately stacked in a tubular container along a longitudinal direction of the container. A magnetic particle movement portion for moving magnetic particles exists along an inner wall surface of the container, and the magnetic particle movement portion extends along the longitudinal direction of the container. At a portion where the gelled medium layer is loaded, the cross-sectional shape of the container inner wall in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the container is non-circular, and the shape of the magnetic particle movement portion in the cross section is a curved shape or an angular shape.

Device for manipulating magnetic particles and method for manipulating magnetic particles

To provide a device for operating magnetic particles capable of treating large quantity, and retaining a gel-like medium layer stably, a vessel is formed so that an area perpendicular to a longitudinal direction in a large-diameter part packed with a liquid layer is larger than an area perpendicular to the longitudinal direction in the small-diameter part packed with a gel-like medium layer. Therefore, in the vessel, it is possible to reduce the diameter of the small-diameter part while keeping the capacity of the large-diameter part large. As a result, in the vessel, it is possible to treat large quantity in the liquid layer, and it is possible to retain the gel-like medium layer stably.

Device for operating magnetic particles

A dispensing device for reducing the dead volume of a liquid sample includes a main channel connected to a sample inlet and a sample outlet, and branch channels connected to the main channel. Each branch channel is connected to a different liquid reservoir. High inflow-withstanding pressure sections are provided in the main channel between the branch channels and between the branch channel and the sample outlet. Each high inflow-withstanding pressure section has a channel inner wall forming a contact angle of 90&#xb0; or larger with a liquid sample. A liquid sample enters the main channel through the sample inlet, reaches a branch point between the first branch channel and the main channel, flows into the first branch channel and the liquid reservoir, and then passes through the high inflow-withstanding pressure section to a branch point between the next branch channel and the main channel.

Dispensing device

A gas chromatograph includes a column module for independently adjusting the temperature of a separation column. The column module is held by an oven with the separation column being horizontal. The column module includes the separation column for separating a sample gas into components, a column accommodating member accommodating inside the separation column while surrounding the separation column by a heat insulating member, and including a gap between the separation column and the heat insulating member for air to flow along the separation column, and a heater, provided inside the column accommodating member, for heating the separation column by being in direct or indirect contact with the separation column. The column accommodating member includes an air inlet port for introducing external air into the gap between the separation column and the heat insulating member, and an air outlet port for exhausting air in the gap.

The channel base () has, in its surface joined to the well base (), a liquid introduction channel () and a reaction well air vent channel (). The channel base () also has a recess () formed opposite to the reaction well () and recessed upward from the upper surface of the liquid introduction channel (). When viewed from above, a shoulder part () of the recess () is placed near the connection part between the reaction well () and the liquid introduction channel () and is closer to the center of the reaction well () than a shoulder part () of the reaction well ().

Micro droplet operation device and reaction processing method using the same

A flow channel module comprises a flow channel plate, a flow channel connection block, and a pressing mechanism. The flow channel plate is provided with a main body and a protrusion section protruding in the circumferential direction from the peripheral edge of the main body, the protrusion section having a port communicating with an inner flow channel. The flow channel connection block is provided with a concave section for being engaged with the protrusion section and having inside a port facing surface for facing the port, and an outer flow channel connection section that is connected to the port facing surface by a flow channel. The pressing mechanism is configured to press the protrusion section inserted in the concave section and the port facing surface against each other so that the flow channel and the port are connected while maintaining air tightness or liquid tightness.

A gas chromatography device includes a sample injection part, a detector, a separation column, and a transfer line connecting between the sample injection part and the separation column and between the sample injection part and the detector. Furthermore, a column temperature adjustment part for adjusting the temperature of the separation column, and a line temperature adjustment part for adjusting the temperature of the transfer line are provided. The line temperature adjustment part is structured to include a heat block which includes a heating element and which is in contact with the transfer line from one side, and a holding member which presses the transfer line toward the heat block side by being in contact from the other side, and to sandwich the transfer line by the heat block and the holding member.
