This optical adapter for an endoscope includes a plurality of incident optical systems eccentrically disposed with each other, an optical axis of each of the plurality of incident optical systems being spaced away from an axis of the optical adapter for an endoscope with an interval; a brightness stop including a plurality of apertures corresponding to the plurality of incident optical systems respectively; a relay lens configured to relay incident light entering each of the plurality of incident optical systems to the corresponding aperture; and a distal light-shielding portion which is disposed more distally than the relay lens, wherein the plurality of incident optical systems, the relay lens, and the brightness stop are disposed in this order from a distal end side toward a proximal end side of the optical adapter for an endoscope along an incident direction of the incident light.

Optical adapter for an endoscope

An adapter for use with an endoscope. The adapter including: at least first and second axis-shifted lenses, each of the first and second axis-shifted lenses including a truncated portion, the first and second axis shifted lenses being arranged side by side so that respective first and second optical axes are parallel to each other; and a prism arranged further distally than the first and second axis-shifted lenses, the prism being configured to change a viewing direction of each of the first and second axis-shifted lenses; wherein at least a portion of each of the truncated portions of the first and second axis-shifted lenses is arranged further outward in the radial direction than the prism.

Side-viewing optical adapter

An endoscope includes an insertion portion. First and second electronic instruments are located in the insertion portion and are supplied with drive power from different systems. A plurality of power limiting portions limit the drive power supplied to the first and second electronic instruments, respectively, via mutually different systems. First and second wirings, at least a portion of which are located inside the insertion portion, connect respective power limiting portions with the respective ones of the first and second electronic instruments. A ground conductor extends from one end of the insertion portion to the other end of the insertion portion and is connected between a first connection connecting the first electronic instrument and the first wiring and a second connection connecting the second electronic instrument and the second wiring.

Endoscope

An endoscope includes a lens unit, a diaphragm for brightness adjustment, a diaphragm for type determination and an image pickup device. The diaphragm for type determination has an image formation portion an image of which is formed in a light receiving section, a position and a number of the image formation portion provided for the diaphragm for type determination differing according to a plurality of adapters. The endoscope further includes a CPU that determines a type of an adapter by determining a position and a number of the image formation portion an image of which is formed in the light receiving section.

In the endoscope of the present invention, first electronic components and second electronic components are provided inside an elongated insertion portion, and a solid ground pattern that extends over a greater range than the first electronic components is interposed between the first electronic components and the second electronic components.

An endoscope according to the present invention includes: an elongated insertion portion inserted in an examination object; an LED which is provided in a distal end portion of the insertion portion and is driven by supply of electric power; an image pickup portion which is provided in the distal end portion on a rear end side in the insertion direction than the LED, and which picks up an image of the examination object; a power supply line for power supply, a distal end in an insertion direction of which is positioned in the distal end portion on a rear end side in the insertion direction than the image pickup portion, and which is inserted in the insertion portion.

Endoscope with thin plate-like substrate

An endoscope apparatus includes: a long insertion portion that is inserted into an examination object; an illumination portion provided at a distal end portion of the insertion portion, that irradiates illumination light at the examination object; an image pickup portion provided inside the distal end portion, that picks up reflected light captured in the insertion portion; and a heat radiating member that radiates heat emitted from at least one of the illumination portion and the image pickup portion. A distal end of the heat radiating member is disposed on a further proximal end side of the insertion portion than a maximum external diameter portion of the image pickup portion within the distal end portion. Therefore, not only can heat be radiated from the distal end portion of the insertion portion, but the distal end portion of the insertion portion can also be formed with a narrow diameter.
