To obtain a fuel filler structure for a fuel tank wherein when causing an opening and closing valve to close, it can be ensured that the opening and closing valve does not rapidly rotate to a closed position in which it closes a fuel fill inlet, and when causing the opening and closing valve to open, the opening and closing valve can be opened with a small force. A fuel filler structure is equipped with a damper on the near side of a flapper valve in the insertion direction of a fuel nozzle. When the flapper valve rotates to an open position, the damper does not act on the flapper valve, and when the flapper valve rotates to a closed position, the damper acts on the flapper valve.

Fuel filler structure for fuel tank

A fuel supply device is obtained in which joint strength can be maintained in a joint portion of plural filter members configuring a fuel filter. A fuel filter with an overall bag shape is configured by welding together an upper face filter cloth a lower face filter cloth of the fuel filter at a welded portion. A sub tank upper side member and a sub tank lower side member nip the upper face filter cloth and the lower face filter cloth at a nipping position that is at a different position from the welded portion.

Fuel supply device

A fuel supply device is obtained in which joint strength can be maintained in a joint portion of plural filter members configuring a fuel filter. A fuel filter () with an overall bag shape is configured by welding together an upper face filter cloth (U) a lower face filter cloth (L) of the fuel filter () at a welded portion (C). A sub tank upper side member (U) and a sub tank lower side member (L) nip the upper face filter cloth (U) and the lower face filter cloth (L) at a nipping position NP that is at a different position from the welded portion (C).

A fueling portion structure of a fuel tank can reliably close a fueling port, and at which pulling-out of a fueling gun from the fueling port is easier. A center of a rotation shaft and a contact position when valve is closed, that a spring for the flapper valve contacts when a flapper valve is at a closed-valve position, are connected, and a reference segment when the valve is closed is assumed. The center of the rotation shaft and a contact position when the valve is open, at a time when the flapper valve is at open-valve position HP, are connected, and a reference segment when the valve is open is assumed. A spring shaft is provided further toward the contact position when valve is closed side than a bisector of an angle formed by the reference segment when valve is closed and the reference segment when valve is open.

Fueling portion structure of fuel tank

A fuel tank opening-closing device has a tank opening forming member, a flap valve mechanism that has an opening-closing member, and an opening-closing activation mechanism that switches between the locked position and the unlocked position that does the opening operation of the opening-closing member. The opening-closing activation mechanism has a nozzle detection mechanism which has introductory push parts mounted on the opening-closing member and adapted to receive force of motion in the insertion direction of the fueling nozzle, and a lock member that is mounted on the tank opening forming member and that selectively shifts between the locked position and the unlocked position by engaging and disengaging with the opening-closing member, and a locking mechanism that moves the locking member from the locked position to the unlocked position by being pushed by the introductory push parts.

Fuel tank opening-closing device

To provide a fuel supplying device that, in a fuel tank equipped with plural accommodating portions that accommodate fuel, can suppress occurrence of running-out of fuel and can send-out fuel in a short time, even when a liquid surface of fuel of a fuel tank main body tilts. A sub-cup that has a fuel filter and a storage member is disposed at each of a first accommodating portion and a second accommodating portion. A distal end of a vapor discharging pipe of a fuel pump main body (or a sending-back pipe of a pressure regulator) is disposed within a second storage member.

Fuel supplying device

To obtain a fuel tank fuel filler structure with which even a fuel nozzle having a large diameter portion can be inserted easily into a fuel fill inlet and which can highly demonstrate the action of guiding the fuel nozzle to the fuel fill inlet. One end of a guide plate () is rotatably supported on a rotational shaft () disposed on a flapper valve (). The guide plate () is biased by a guide plate biasing spring toward a withdrawal region in which the guide plate withdraws from a passage region of a fuel nozzle. In a state where the flapper valve () is in an open position (HP), the entire guide plate () is positioned in the withdrawal region. In a state where the flapper valve () is in a closed position (TP), the guide plate () can be placed near a fuel fill inlet ().

Fuel tank fuel filler structure

A liquid state detection sensor capable of detecting a large number of objects with a small number of terminals. The liquid state detection sensor is provided with three terminals A to C, a capacitor Cbetween terminals A and B, a capacitor Cbetween terminals B and C, and a capacitor Cbetween terminals A and C. The capacitor Cand the capacitor Care connected in series, and the capacitor Cis connected in parallel with this series connection. The capacitor Cis disposed outside liquid fuel in a fuel tank, the capacitor Cis partially or wholly immersed in the fuel in the fuel tank, and the capacitor Cis disposed close to a floor of the fuel tank.

Liquid state detection sensor

A filling port structure for a fuel tank includes a filling port member that defines a filling port, an open/close valve that opens and closes the filling port, a rotary member that attaches the open/close valve to the filling port member in a manner such that the open/close valve is rotatable between an open position and a closed position, a locking member that is provided in the filling port member and is movable between a locking position to lock the open/close valve in the closed position and an unlocking position to unlock the open/close valve, an unlocking member that moves the locking member to the unlocking position when pressed by a fuel gun, and a retention portion that holds the locking member in the unlocking position at least when the open/close valve is in the open position.

Filling port structure for fuel tank

A fluid pressure regulating device is i) provided with a pressure regulating member that forms a pressure regulating chamber inside a housing having introduction side and discharge side fuel passages, and communicates these passages according to introduced fuel pressure, and ii) is able to regulate the fuel pressure introduced into a fuel passage to a set pressure. The housing is provided with outer and inner annular valve seat portions that separate the fuel passages inside the pressure regulating chamber, and form another fuel passage inside the pressure regulating chamber. Different clearances are set between the pressure regulating member, and the outer annular valve seat portion and the inner annular valve seat portion, such that when the pressure regulating member abuts against one of the valve seat portions, a small gap is formed between the other valve seat portion and the pressure regulating member.

Fluid pressure regulating device and fuel supply system using same

To provide a fluid pressure regulation apparatus and a fuel supply apparatus which are compact in arrangement and simple in construction, a pressure regulator includes a housing, a pressure adjustment member constituted by a partition wall forming together with the housing a pressure adjustment member held in communication with a fluid introduction opening and having the pressure adjustment chamber brought into communication with a fluid discharge opening in response to the pressure of fluid in the pressure adjustment chamber. The pressure regulator is capable of adjusting the fluid pressure in the pressure adjustment chamber to a preliminarily set pressure, and has one surface side thereof forming an area of a pressure receiving range receiving the fluid pressure, the area being variably set and the set pressure being varied in response to the area of the pressure receiving range.

Fluid pressure regulation apparatus and fuel supply apparatus

A pressure regulating device that regulates a pressure of a fuel, including a housing that includes a fuel introduction passage into which the fuel to be supplied into a fuel consuming unit is introduced and a fuel discharge passage from which the fuel is discharged, wherein the fuel discharge passage includes a plurality of discharge passage portions; a pressure regulating provided so as to partition the housing, and that communicates the fuel introduction passage with the fuel discharge passage and cuts off the fuel introduction passage from the fuel discharge passage, according to a pressure of the fuel in the housing; an impelling mechanism that impels the pressure regulating member in a direction of cutting off the fuel introduction passage from the fuel discharge passage; and a discharge restricting mechanism, provided in the fuel discharge passage, that selectively restricts discharge of the fuel from the discharge passage portions.

Pressure regulating device

A fuel cap has a male threading element which is formed on an outer circumference of a closer of the fuel cap, a female threading element which is formed on an inner wall of a filler neck, and a handle. Rotation of the handle in a closing direction screws the male threading element into the female threading element. A stopper formed on the male threading element comes into contact with the start end of the female threading element to complete the closing operation. At this fully closed position, a gasket located between the closer and a sealing face of the filler neck is pressed and displaced in an axial direction to seal the sealing face of the filler neck with a sealing face pressure of not less than a preset level.

Cap device

A pipe connector having excellent pressure tightness and including a female connector (), a male connector () and a retainer () is constructed so that the incomplete connection of the female connector () and the male connector () can be clearly perceived when the retainer is falsely locked. The retainer () has side walls (), first retaining lugs () formed on the inner side of the side walls (), respectively, each having a first end edge () that engages an annular ridge () formed on the male connector () to restrain the male connector () from axial backward movement when the retainer () is pushed into the female connector () with the male connector () completely inserted in the female connector (), and a second end edge () opposite to the first end edge (), and second retaining lugs () formed on the inner side of the side walls () and spaced at least a distance corresponding to the width of the annular ridge () apart from the first end edges () of the first retaining lugs (), respectively. The second retaining lugs () are in contact with a retaining member () fitted in a bore formed in the female connector () to prevent O rings () fitted in the bore of the female connector () from coming off the bore of the female connector () to restrain the retaining member () from axial movement.
