A temperature estimation device includes: an initial value estimation unit that estimates an initial temperature value of an estimation target component at the start of operation of a power converter electrically connected to a power storage device; a variation estimation unit that estimates a temperature variation of the estimation target component based on the value of an electric current supplied from the power converter by the operation of the power converter; and a temperature estimation unit that calculates an estimated temperature of the estimation target component based on the initial temperature value and the temperature variation. The initial value estimation unit estimates the initial temperature value based on time elapsed between the previous issuance of a temperature estimation stop instruction for the estimation target component and the current issuance of a temperature estimation start instruction for the estimation target component.

Temperature estimation device

An air-conditioning device for vehicle has a case and an outlet unit. The outlet unit has a vent door. The vent door is capable of stopping at a face mode position where a center vent outlet and a side vent outlet are opened, a bi-level mode position where a center vent outlet and the side vent outlet are opened, and a heat mode position where the center vent outlet is closed and the side vent outlet is opened. The vent door is movable from the face mode position to the heat mode position via the bi-level mode position. The case has a fixed guide member. The fixed guide member controls an air flow in the case in the bi-level position by facing the vent door positioned in the bi-level mode position.

Air-conditioning device for vehicle

A starter is installed in a vehicle. In the starter, a crank shaft is driven by a motor which rotates a pinion gear in a state where a ring gear connected to the crank shaft is in engagement with the pinion gear. Thus, an engine is started. The starter sets a start-up period depending on the type of the start-up trigger that generates a start-up request for the engine, and sets a current supplied to the motor on the basis of the set start-up period. Thus, at least either of a rotation speed and an output torque of the motor is controlled. This control is implemented by a control circuit.

Starter

An air conditioning case in an air conditioning unit for a vehicle forms a first air passage, a second air passage bypassing the first air passage, and a mixing space connected to a first blowing port and a second blowing port through which air is blown out into a vehicle interior. A cooling heat exchanger cools and allows air to flow into the first air passage and the second air passage. A heating heat exchanger is disposed in the first air passage. A tunnel forming portion provides a tunnel passage into which a part of air from the first air passage flows. The tunnel forming portion includes a first outflow portion connected to the first blowing port, and a second outflow portion connected to the second blowing port, and separates the air flowing in the tunnel passage from the air flowing from the second air passage.

Air conditioning unit for vehicle

In a vehicle air conditioner, a first warm air diversion passage is a tunnel-shaped passage that is provided near a first side air outlet and takes in warm air and causes the air to flow without mixing with cool air. A second warm air diversion passage is a passage inside a tunnel that is provided near a second side air outlet and takes in warm air and causes the air to flow without mixing with cool air. A diversion passage section includes an in-tunnel guide wall that directs the warm air flowing through the first warm air diversion passage toward the first side air outlet, and an in-tunnel guide wall that directs the warm air flowing through the second warm air diversion passage toward the second side air outlet.

Vehicle air conditioner

A first shaft has one end coupled to an engine. A damper has a spring coupled the other end of the first shaft. A second shaft has one end coupled to the spring. A third shaft rotates in correspondence to a final output shaft. A fourth shaft has one end coupled to a first rotary electric machine. A power split mechanism is provided among the second shaft, the third shaft and the fourth shaft and transfers torque among the second shaft, the third shaft and the fourth shaft. A control unit calculates a torque correction value for the rotary electric machine based on information indicating torsion angle of the damper and corrects the torque of the rotary electric machine based on a calculated torque correction value.

Torque transfer system

A hybrid vehicle including an engine having a catalyst in an exhaust passage, first and second motor generators, a battery and a power transmission mechanism coupling a drive shaft, the engine and the motor generators by a gear mechanism such that torque is transmittable, and its control method, are provided. When a coolant temperature is a threshold or below, catalyst warm-up operation for starting the engine and retarding an ignition timing by a retardation amount is executed. When a battery level is a threshold or below, forced charging operation for starting the engine and charging the battery by driving the first motor generator is executed. During the forced charging operation, an engine load is changed on the basis of the battery level. When the catalyst warm-up operation is executed during the forced charging operation, the retardation amount for facilitating warm-up of the catalyst is reduced as the engine load increases.

Hybrid vehicle and control method for hybrid vehicle

A required intake air flow rate is converted to a post-model required intake air flow rate (BMtsm) by a base-system normative model, and the inverse model of an intake system model is used to calculate a base-system required throttle opening degree (BTA) so as to achieve the post-model required intake air flow rate (BMtsm). On the other hand, the required in-take air flow rate (Mt) is converted to a post-model required intake air flow rate (HMtsm) by a high-response-system normative model, and the inverse model of the intake system model is used to calculate a high-response-system required throttle opening degree (HTA) so as to achieve the post-model required intake air flow rate (HMTsm). Then, a target throttle opening degree (TAt) is set so as to fall within the range from the base-system required throttle opening degree (BTA) to the high-response-system required throttle opening degree (HTA) and the reduce a variation amount.

Intake air flow rate control device for internal combustion engine

An internal combustion engine wherein three-way catalysts are arranged in an exhaust passage of a first cylinder group and an exhaust passage of a second cylinder group and a common NOstorage catalyst is arranged downstream of the three-way catalysts. When the NOstorage catalyst should be raised in temperature, the air-fuel ratio of a part of the cylinders in each cylinder group is made rich and the air-fuel ratio of a part of the cylinders in each cylinder group is made lean to raise the NOstorage catalyst in temperature by the heat of oxidation reaction at the three-way catalysts.

Exhaust gas purification apparatus for internal combustion engine

An internal combustion engine wherein exhaust gas from the cylinder groups () is supplied to a common NOx storage catalyst (). When the NOx storage catalyst () should release the SOx, the average air-fuel ratio of one cylinder group () is made rich and the average air-fuel ratio of the other cylinder group () is made lean. At this time, the air-fuel ratios of the cylinders () of one cylinder group () are made one target rich air-fuel ratio selected from two predetermined target rich air-fuel ratios, while the air-fuel ratios of the cylinders () of the other cylinder group () are made one target lean air-fuel ratio selected from two predetermined target lean air-fuel ratios.
